  1. HAHA, no I didn't get Spiller, he was picked the player before me, so I got Shady. Woo Hoo! But in all honestly, how long can Fred keep it up? He will be 34 this year, at a position where you are beaten up. 34 does not seem old, but I am 31 and my legs are not what they were at 22-25..... Now, I am not a world class athlete, just take a look at why in my picture, but you know!
  2. Ok, so as an onlooker, I have to ask. Maybe you can give me some guidance on this. What is the deal with your RB's? Was it solely health last year, or why wasn't a playmaker like Spiller being fed the ball more? He only missed one game, but I know he was playing beat up, but 200 carries? 33 catches? That is a player that I thought would have been the focal point in the offense, trying to find creative ways to get him the ball in space, and just see what he can do. Was it Freddie J? Is this the year that Spiller takes over and takes the Lions share? Was it the Line, Coaching, all of the above, or what was the deal? I just see an electric player like that, and think its a travesty that he had the year that he did. Maybe you peeps can shed a little insight.
  3. Thanks again guys. I don't think we will be going into Canada, we normally just hunker down in the town we visit and soak up the local LOCAL brews and food, not a big deal. Making it Flow Backwards- Yeah, that was part of the reason we wanted to check out Buffalo, as it is compared to GB. We have seen some dumpy areas in bigger cities, figured we would bring it smaller this year. Does anyone go to the "National Wing Festival"? Anyone ever hear of Legend Larrys? Local guy from here, that has some amazing sauces and does wings that has done well out there every year and won best original hot sauce, Unique BBQ Sauce (Spicy Bacon BBQ) and several others. Man I need wings now.
  4. Found some tickets in the endzone for $115 a piece. That's nutzo cheap!
  5. Thanks again guys. How are fans towards away fans in Buffalo? Like I said, I have been a number of places and have been treated generally well most everywhere. We expect some good ribbing, but hope it's good natured. We are very respectful, not jackasses.
  6. Do they boo the Bills at the Ralph? They boo'd the Ravens last year in Baltimore and I couldn't believe it.
  7. Ok I'm a little slow! Sorry, doing this while setting up plans with my buddies. So do you guys do anything unique to the Bills in the stadium? (Cheers, traditions). This is our 12th stadium, hope to see all someday, but Buffalo was on my short list of tops to visit.
  8. You guys rock. I will make sure and hit up Duffs in Orchard park. Is it just a wing joint or a bar where we could hang for a bit? Jacked for the tailgating, I hear it's the closest to Lambeau in the league. Think we will hit up Hammers. Thinking we will stay downtown Buffalo for hotel. Is there one strip I should be aware of where we should stay that is near the majority of the bars?
  9. Just checked out Google Maps, there doesn't appear to be much around the stadium. Should we for sure steer clear of staying closer to the stadium? Is there anywhere between the stadium and the bars, etc? I just ask because one of my favorite things is to head to the stadium and take pictures and stuff. There looks like there are a couple small bars there. Thinking of driving there instead of flying, can we tailgate in the lot or is it by permit only?
  10. Dang. There is 3 of us, any idea on a hookup for tix, or should I just plan on ebay as usual? Is there much around the stadium? Hotels? Bars?
  11. Yo guys, long time no talk. Not sure if anyone remembers me but I stopped in a while back. Anyway, me and my buddies have decided to make our annual Packer away trip to Buffalo this year! Looking for any advice you can give as far as hotels near the stadium, good bars, eating places, etc. We are all 31 year old guys, love to drink, hang out in sports bars, but hit up night life the 5 days we will be in town. Any advice is appreciated. Can't wait to check out the Ralph, I respect your great fans and very excited to explore Buffalo!
  12. As a Packer fan I would love the undefeated tag, but I would trade 1, 2, or even 3 losses for a Lombardi. That being said, I don't think we get beat at Lambeau. Our only road game left is at KC. Hostile crowd, but I don't know. Can't wait to see it unfold!
  13. WHAT WHAT WHAT????????? I am a Packer fan, and most people around the league say we have the best tailgating, and I have heard Buffalo is the closest to GB!!!!!!!! I was all jacked to go there in 2014. If you think that the tailgating in SD is good, I am confused. We went there on 11/6 and it was NOT good. Well, the 50% Packer fans in the lot were good, but the Bolts was nothing special at all. We always heard the closest to Lambeau is the Ralph and Arrowhead. I have been to Arrowhead, and that was pretty good. Someone tell me how much better the tailgating is in Buffalo than this.
  14. You were lucky to buy tickets at the box office. For the Packer game this year the stadium was sold out and we had to purchase tickets for $250 a piece. Packer fans were actually driving up costs. Unreal. We figured going to a stadium with a team with a crappy fan base we could get cheap tickets for once.
  15. I know, SD fans are terrible. We went there this year for the Packer game and the stadium was over half green and gold. Unreal. We travel well, but come on that is disgusting.
  16. Thought there would have been enough Bills fans there to knock out the blackout. You guys travel well, don't you?
  17. The bills are a team in the NFL that I like. Obviously, not a huge fan, but if it doesn't have a negative impact on my Packers, then I like to see them win. Yeah, WR is our strongpoint. But there is a method to the madness. Ted Thompson our GM, tries to draft guys with high character. Now obviously you cannot hit on all of them, but this group is good for us. In our offense we spread the ball around. Greg Jennings, Jordy Nelson, Donald Driver, James Jones, and Randall Cobb are all guys that are not "me" guys. It is all about who is open, and they all understand that greed for the ball will not get you far in GB. We will most likely lose DD to age at the end of this season or next, so we drafted Cobb to take his place. We will draft another in the first 4 rounds to groom for the 4-5 WR in the 2012 draft. You guys have any viewpoint on Jordy Nelson? When we drafted him, not a ton of people knew who he was and a lot of people were upset that we did not draft Desean Jackson. Wow am I glad we did not draft the guy now. Talented, but a head case.
  18. Yeah we are NOT looking forward to losing Flynn. Dude is a gamer. Could start on a handfull of teams today.
  19. Yeah, agreed. But I can't agree on the final statement. He will most likely be our backup QB next year since Matt Flynn will most likely get an opportunity elsewhere.
  20. Looks like the Bills tried to snag one of the Packers players. Packers are going to need him next year when we lose Flynn.
  21. Enjoy guys. Went out there for the Packer game, PB is money. Hit up The Beachwood, it's Aaron Rodgers bar. Not that you care about that, but its a sweet bar on the ocean with good drink specials. I'm sure you will take over the Q cause everyone does, wasn't very impressed with the stadium but still a good time. Go get a W!
  22. See I think it should be different for every venue. At Lambeau, we have just about 73,000 seats. We are actually starting an expansion in the offseason to add an additional 6,600 seats because of the demand. 60,000 is just fine for some areas. It is enough that the crowd is a factor, yet makes it so that there aren't bad seats in the stadium. Places like Jacksonville shouldn't have football teams if they can't support them, and they won't for long.
  23. Nice try DB. That story was false and the woman even did a story on it saying people blew it out of proportion. People these days dig for anything to make stars look bad.
  24. Yeah the Pack has really brought it this year. And the scary thing is that we have a ton of room to improve. Our Run defense has been good. We are giving up exactly 100 yards per game as a whole. That ranks 8. Where we struggle and everyone knows it is our defensive passing game. We are ranked 31. The numbers are inflated a little bit because our offense scores a lot of points so teams fall on to the pass quickly, but it is still poor. We lost Cullen Jenkins which is a heck of a pass rusher and we lost our Pro Bowl Safety Nick Collins for the year. But they are doing a decent job bending and not breaking the majority of the time. The thing about beating the Packers is that you have to put up points and you have to put up a lot of them. We are putting up 36 points a game which is a league best. AROD is playing lights out and rarely makes mistakes. Our line is shaky at times but he moves out of the pocket as well. We run decent when we have to but our short passing game IS our running game. Our WR's get open and they are underrated. But going undefeated is VERY tough. To tell you the truth, it would be awesome and everything but I am not enthralled in it. I am more focused on the postseason and getting homefield so we need the 49ers to slip up somewhere. It is a fun season as a Packer fan, but any team can beat any team on any given Sunday. The Bills are having a good year and your future is very bright. I think you win 5 of your next 7. But do me and the rest of the world a favor and beat the crap out of the Jets. I cannot stand them.
  25. Nice win boys. Hopefully you guys can make a deep run in the playoffs. Would love a Pack/Bills SB!!!!!!!!!!!
