  1. HAHA! Sorry don't knock me! Would it be better if it were a Jet fan or a Pats fan?
  2. Outsider perspective here, but I thought I would throw my two cents in. Sounds like something internally is going on, and I think that players understand that it is a business. Stuff like this happens all over the league, and I don't think MW is that big of a National player. Winning and money cure all. Being a fan of another smaller market team, I think a lot of Free Agents would prefer to go to another organization for night life, weather, etc. But if Marrone wins this will not be an issue. Maybe he had it with some crap behind the scenes and he doesn't want to deal with it and he is setting an example?
  3. Well that one will be in the comfy confines of Lambeau, so it will be a little tougher for the Pats than if it were on their turf. Crowd will be jacked for that one for sure.
  4. Finished one of two of your requests there.
  5. I have seen the Bills play a couple games this year and you should pound the Vikings, maybe by 2 or 3 scores. If you can get Fast Freddie moving you will be fine. Their secondary is not great, although Stafford made them look much better than they are missing easy passes. Thanks in advance for destroying them, I hate them.
  6. I always say defer when you can. Let your offense ease into the game, and come out comfortable in the 2nd half with a possession.
  7. Well if that happens, then yes I promise to stop by once in a while, you seem like a good bunch. I visit all forums of the teams that we go to in the given year, and I lurk around most of them, except for the Seahawks forum, those guys are just dicks.
  8. Well I am hoping for a little ARod magic, as usual.
  9. Yeah, sorry forgot about that one. Well it would be nice to go into Miami Sunday and knock them around. Glad we have the Pats at home, I will do my best to lose my voice and throw Brady off. Yeah I feel you. We have been decent offensively on 3rd downs besides that damn Seattle game. But our defense STRUGGLES to get off the field on 3rd and ANY distance. Hopefully 12/14 will shape up to be a meaningful game for both sides. Can't wait to see the Ralph!
  10. HAHA, just joking a bit, but hell, anytime you can complete 70% of your passes for 300 yards it is a good sign. Rodgers struggled mightily against the Lions in Detroit.
  11. Haven't been by in a while and thought I would thank you for taking it to the Lions. I guess Orton still has some magic left. My Packers need all the help we can get his year! Thanks again, now go beat the Pats!
  12. Born and raised in Green Bay, WI, and here probably just like near Buffalo it is a way of life. Football is a big part of my life, I set my vacation time around the Packers, spend quality time with my friends and family talking about the Packers, going to games, having Packer parties, going to training camp, etc. Some may think that is stupid, but it is my favorite part of my life outside of my family.
  13. Lambeau Field. HAHA, just thought I would try to rile some peeps up. What's up? Been a while since I stopped in, but thought I would check what is going on here. I will be at Hammers Lot 12/14.
  14. As a Packer fan, I would say careful what you wish for. Man I love JMike. I even have his authentic jersey. But he is a guy that never lived up to his potential. He drops tons of passes, and his measurables are sexier than his production. Every year we have been saying, "This is the year he takes over", and it never happens. Do I want him back with the Packers? Of course. Do I want to pay him anything substantial? Hell no. We paid the dude $8 million a year because of the matchup nightmare he was, and never got it back, it was a losing investment for that much money. I really wish he would hang it up, it just isn't worth it. One bad hit and he could be paralyzed and I know you can say that for any player, but his injury scares me to death. I guess it is his decision. Looks like he has a meeting scheduled with a "mystery team" tomorrow, maybe some will get their wish.
  15. Holy cow, $11 for a draft? That is the most expensive I have seen! But yes, ticket prices are cheap which evens it out I guess.
  16. How much is beer at the Ralph? It is crazy everywhere, I have been to about a dozen stadiums and it is the same everywhere, expensive as hell. At Lambeau it is $7.50 for a draft beer. Pretty common to what I have seen, but I have paid $9.50 in stadiums.
  17. The season ticket holders are selling their tickets on secondary markets. Think we found ours, at about the 5 yard line 7 rows from the field. Is that too low at The Ralph? Some fields, the closer you are kind of sucks because the elevation is not there to see plays develop at all. But some stadiums 7 rows up is fine.
  18. We are buying ticket by Friday. Too many decent tickets for cheap not to just buy and get it over with. Pay for tickets this month, prepay the hotel for a discount in June, then it is just drinking and eating money for 5 days baby!
  19. I love the way James Starks runs. He has proven he can be a great change of pace guy and a 1-2 punch. Injuries keep him off the field though, but if healthy he can be a valuable asset.
  20. Sweet. Yeah I've always had a soft spot for the Bills too, that's why I came here a couple years ago, love the smaller market teams.
  21. Thank you for the kind words. We usually travel well, although I am not sure how many will show up to Buffalo in December considering we play Tampa in December....
  22. Are bars open until 2 or 4 in Buffalo? 8 months is going to take forever. I need football.
  23. Did you just compare spicy bacon BBQ to fufu raspberry? Those are fighting words in my part of the country!! Haha, joking. But very excited to try Duffs. Now tell me, what are some bars that I have to hit up? Any "different" bars that are original to the area in Buffalo, or staples I should hit up?
  24. So Eddie Lacy and who? Just joking. I totally agree that he is one of the most explosive players at his position. Is it scheme? Is he is the wrong system? Would he be Shady if you switched Spiller and McCoy's teams?
  25. Yeah, Eddie the Hammer is a monster. I wanted him, but not in the first, so you can imagine Packer fans excitement when he was there in the 2nd. Just awesome. He needs to stay healthy, because every run is punishing. He reminds me of Lynch, no matter if it is a 1 yard run, or a 30, he earns every inch and it seems so physical. That is what we were missing from our offense. I know in todays NFL you need a 1-2 punch, so Spiller will never be just "The one and only guy", but he is a homerun hitter and can make plays, and in my opinion, you have to make it so that those types of players somehow get the ball in their hands at least 15 times a game mimimum, should be closer to 20 with catches and runs.
