I've said this in another thread. By all accounts Merriman is healthy. But that's walking around health, now he has to obviously show if the injury can withstand NFL punishment. None of us, including him, know that. But if the injury is in the past, we have one of the elite talents in all the NFL getting ready to play for us. Don't bore me with the Kelsay and Anderson talk. If Shawne's ready to go, he comes out when he waves over to the sideline.

There's no way for you to know that. Anderson at the height of his talent is a very good player, Merriman at his best is elite. If Merriman is healthy, it's not even a debate who is the starter. At this point with all the declarations of his health being in good standing, it's a giant reach for you to proclaim him as 2nd string.

You don't think what he was doing helps in football games?

4. What needs to happen for this team to win big? "Fitzpatrick needs to play at least like an average quarterback on a weekly basis." I couldn't disagree with this comment more. To think this team is automatically good enough to win with an average QB on a weekly basis is ridiculous.

I'm not sure I agree. I saw C.J. showing he can run the show, pun intended. The most important player is Fitz and it isn't close. The season will hing on how he plays. RB as a position is so far down the list expecially when you factor in the difference between our backs, I don't think it's in the top ten.

Well for football reasons I am too, but it would be pretty cool to get an inside glimpse at the team we love.

I don't know that "they should have emerged last year". It would have been nice to have some more answers but it wasn't all because of bad play. Injuries left a ton of questions unanswered, so the questions are still there. One thing that isn't a question is that there's enough talent to feel optimistic enough that someone is going to manifest. All I'm saying is the talent is there, these guys are not bums.
