I think Kiper and the rest are probably very good at what they do. The are probably even qualified to get an NFL job. Without any information to back my claim, my bet is they are just as right and wrong as most NFL GM's. The question is why would they? In the real world you get fired for being wrong.

Yeah all the GM's in the NFL are watching ESPN saying "I keep hearing his name, we can't place him as a second round talent". I think he's got it wrong. The analyst get their hype from getting information out of the teams.

I was speaking hypothetically, not that I had any knowledge you contradicted yourself. I'm not a Fitz fan. I just understand they felt a certain way about Fitz and it was the right move based on their feeling. So I'm not willing to beat them up too much over it. I also don't believe it stopped them from drafting a QB last year, they just didn't like anyone enough to draft. I disagreed but don't think signing Fitz stopped it. In saying that I don't think it will stop them this year. And in the end that's what we all agree on.

We wouldn't have gotten him any cheaper and would have taken on a huge risk. So you would have risked losing him to get him for the same money, doesn't make any sense.

What do you suggest the Bills do with a player that has openly said he wants to test free agency? I don't think there's any doubt we would like to sign him right now, but you do realize he has to want to sign prior to free agency right? There's two things that are going to happen, he's either going to get franchised, or we will have to see if he'll sign if we match/exceed what he commands on the open market. The Bills are in an obviously touchy situation because of Byrd. I can only imagine they are working hard to sign Byrd or Levitre to be able to franchise the other. And both players and their agents know that.

I usually always watch the positions I think the Bills will be interested in withing the first few rounds. Anytime I feel the Bills will really be pursuing a QB in the draft heightens my interest. I'll closely watch the QB's especially my early choice of Dysert.
