It is relevant. It's about doing what the defense isn't expecting. I suspect Brady takes on the same montra as McD, which is largely, we don't care if they know, impose your will.
Of course to a degree, you do have to just execute your will on the opponent, that's football. However, we do it so much with little creativity.
That's why I get frustrated with our coaching. So few times, it's just the right play call to counter the defense, that we see from more successful offensive teams.
