  1. Myself personally, I can understand why controversy among fans develops when it comes to competition at the QB position. Everyone has there own perception/player in mind when it comes to the QB position and how the position itself it should be handled. In my opinion competition in all positions is a good thing, including the QB position. Its up to a solid chain of command to stem/stop problems before they ever start. Throughout the league you see teams addressing the QB position aggressively. John Elway didn't need to draft Brock Osweiler, he has Peyton Manning, Elways not worried about a QB controversy. How about the Redskins and RGIII, they didn't need to use another high draft pick on a signal caller, but realize putting to much pressure on RGIII could hurt his development, so they brought in competition at the position to help. The Green Bay Packers are always looking to upgrade the QB position, as is the Patriots or the Jets because when you have good coaches coaching the QB position, Its the wise thing to do. Good QB are worth their weight in gold as future trade bait. We have the best most innovative coach/QB guru in the league in Chan Gailey and should/could be using his expertise to strengthen the Buffalo Bills franchise. If the Bills grew QB's, like we do CB's, we would have won a Championship by now. What I would like to also point it is sometimes finding the right player for the right scheme or system to fit their skill set is just as important as a players past statistically, the two don't always mesh together right the 1st time around. QB's competing, compete with the scheme/system, the opposition, and the elements.QB's in the NFL have enough to worry about and just need to focus on their job, which is learning/ running the offense, and helping their team win.(Being an obedient understudy without causing waves is part of the job description as backup) Poor QB play creates controversy, not the backup... NOTE: In my mind/opinion Ryan Fitzpatrick is the undisputed(by me anyway) Champion at the QB position throughout the 2013 Buffalo Bills Football season, there is no controversy, this is Fitzy's team/time
  2. PP has a signature sound, no doubt about it, and to me that's what makes some singers unique, I thought Volcano was brilliant.(but I understand) Myself personally, Jessica is just another real good singer who doesn't have enough individuality to succeed in the music industry in my opinion, but to each his own ...
  3. Joshua is the best singer I've ever seen on AI, but Phil Philips is a charmer and his rendition of Valcano was so perfect for him, If Philips makes another perfect song choice or two like that it will be practically impossible to beat him. Jessica will go home next in my opinion...
  4. The cohesion created from anything on the outside of the helmet has already been proven to be just as dangerous to your neck because it prolongs impact which basically equates to someone grabing you by the head and twisting it. My idea as a possible solution to help reduce impact is liquid inner helmet padding, the displacement properties in liquid would greatly reduce impact and also help counteract the sloshing affect on the brain in my opinion.
  5. lol, best thing about her performance
  6. I agree, and Carrie seemed to be pressing to hard to make it work.
  7. Carrie Underwood is in a league all her own, although I didn't really like her performance (or song) last night and I'm a big Underwood fan. In my opinion, from a pure vocalist standpoint, Josh cannot be beat by anyone...
  8. Oddly enough, the ages of between 40 - 60 years old makes up the biggest majority of voters on AI Josh is one of the best singers I've ever heard, but he could however do less screaming, I agree
  9. Phil Phillips has been going down hill as of late. One of the reasons I liked Philips is, good singers are a dime a dozen, Phil Phillips is also a composer/song writer and without hit songs a good singer is just another good singer. Josh on the other hand is probably the best vocalist AI has ever seen...
  10. I'll have to do a flip flop here, Joshua is in a league all his own, what an amazing voice.
  11. I think Phil will win for different reasons and also have better success in the future.
  12. Philip to me is an extremely likable character that is actually attracting America as much with his charm as he is with his voice in my opinion, Myself personally, I like his vocals. Philips would probably do great in the movie industry. I expect Phil to win despite not being the best vocalist (because of his popularity)
  13. Kirkpatrick was manned up most of the time. The weed wasn't Dre's...
  14. How about this concept, your backup is also your future signal caller, good grief
  15. Brock Osweiler won't even make it past round 2
  16. When its the public voting in the outcome, how could it change? I've often thought they should perhaps go to a point system and give each contestant points based on where they finish in the vote rankings. Combine points from week to week. This way a bad song choice isn't going to send the best singer packing. Lowest vocalist on the totem pole each week in points goes home. One of the problems is its as much about the song choice as it is the actual performance. If you don't like a song,or not at all familiar with it, regardless of how well someone sings it, you will still not like the song or vote for a singer/ song you are more familiar with and do like. Points system would insure the top vocalist overall a position even If he or she has an off week/bad song choice. It would also send the overall least consistent vocalist home that continues to rank near the bottom as it should be.
  17. arguably the 3 best singers of the competition end up on the chopping block, go figure, and why I wouldn't even waste my time voting Its a popularity contest...
  18. and how about Joshua Ledet, good grief, talk about talented
  19. Rendition of "Somebody that I used to know" was one of the best most enjoyable duets I've ever seen, Personally , I think Phil's facial expressions are one of the reasons I like him. The guy would be a natural in the movie industry. One of the best lineups ever...
  20. Peyton Manning as a Buffalo Bill just sounds right, but I expect Manning to end up playing for the fish
