  1. Very sad news, RIP Prayers to the Reid family
  2. Easley made the best highlight catch of the night and TJ Graham continues to impress
  3. I hear you man, there's a lot going on and its next to impossible to see everything. Twitter chatter said two called runs for big gains , but video only caught one. VY fan myself, Thigpen, not so much, so I focus in on Young and Thigpen/QB battle. Thigpen has also made some good throws. VY just looks natural at the QB position and appears to already be flourishing under Gailey/QB coach Lee's guidance. Gailey can turn Young into a very dangerous weapon in my opinion.
  4. Here are some Youtube videos of Sunday nights practice. http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?421588-Training-Camp-7-29-2012-Youtube-Video&p=6165108#post6165108 Note: I thought VY played O.K. and looked fairly composed and in control for the most part. I agree on Young, I liked the way he looked especially considering how little time he's had in Coach Gaileys Offense. Youngs athleticism stands out...
  5. Good post/insight San Jose Bills Fan
  6. I just can't say enough good things about Buddy Nix. Adding a shutdown corner to the Bills Defense is going to help Buffalo take on some of the best Offenses in the NFL and come out on top. MERCY!!!! Great read jw, thanks! I Billieve!!!
  7. The defenseless WR rule and don't bump heads has forced DB's to become more up in your face and physical. The better DB's in the league can do it without crossing the fine line and getting called for a penalty.
  8. Bills Receivers impressed by rookie CB Gilmore (John Wawrow) http://sports.yahoo.com/news/bills-receivers-impressed-rookie-cb-000041087--nfl.html ''I don't know how to say it, but he's up there with some of the DBs in the league who've been playing for a couple of years, and he hasn't even played one play,'' receiver Stevie Johnson said Saturday. ''Really, I don't want to speak too highly, but it's hard to not speak highly of somebody that can play as well as he has from rookie minicamp all the way up until now.'' Johnson is not alone in touting Gilmore, who was drafted 10th overall out of South Carolina.
  9. If you were to ask every soldier in the United States Military their personal feelings about conflicts going on in different parts of the world I'm sure you will have opinions that differ, but what makes the sacrifices our soldiers endure even more significant is they put their own personal feelings aside and still carry out their missions for our Country even if it means compromising their own personal beliefs. My late father told me a very sad story once about something that had happened to him during the Korean war and something that I'm sure troubled him until the day he passed away. The American soldiers at the time along with my Dad had a south Korean camp boy that helped around the camp. One day the camps mascot dog went up missing and come to find out the young camp boy had butchered the camps mascot and prepared it for all the American soldiers to eat with out them knowing it. The South Koreans took the young camp boy out in a field and shot him for his mistake. Retelling that story was one of the few times in my life that I ever seen my dad break down and cry. I'm glad I was able to be there for my dad and listen to his troubling story, even though it still haunts me to this day.
  10. My Condolences, so sorry for your loss.
  11. I've seen some real good throws from VY so far in OTA's and now Minicamp TG and the Figster don't always see eye to eye though,
  12. We're all just a bunch of losers, hehe,

  13. Do you think CJ Spiller gaining momentum at the end of the season was by accident? Gailey can't go out on the field and snap the football properly and Chan Gailey can't play the WR position and get good separation (with speed) no more then he can make sure the footballs not overthrown to avoid an INT. What Chan Gailey has done up to this point with his jolly band of no name misfitz is nothing short of miraculous in my opinion. Moving the football down the field over the last few years before Gailey arrived in Buffalo was like pulling teeth...
  14. It wouldn't surprise me, but I still can't help but wonder If coaching is something Fitzpatrick may consider, All pure speculation on my part of course....
  15. Edith!!! The Meatheads gone and tried to get all philosophical on me over here!
  16. Most people that follow Football know that Bills starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick almost aced the wonderlic test scoring 48 out of 50 questions correct in under 9 minutes.(leaving at least one question blank) Its also no secret to Bills fans that Fitzpatrick's a highly intelligent Harvard Grad and in all likelihood could be the smartest QB that has ever played in the NFL. Fitzy is now being mentored by (in my opinion) one of the most innovative offensive minds in the game today. What Fitzpatrick learns now and over the next few years as starting QB of the Buffalo Bills playing under HC Chan Gailey can be reapplied in the future as a coach in the National Football League. The Buffalo Bills should be prepared to take advantage of the opportunity... Note: Subject is off the beaten path and a little far fetched perhaps hehe, but hey, its the off season
  17. QB's love a physical WR that will go up and bail them out of a throw perhaps they shouldn't have made, and Marcus Easley appears to be that type of WR. Take that along with speed/ability to get good separation, and it spells playmaker...
  18. Competition at the QB position is a good thing, players push each other to perform at a high level. Tyler Thigpen has thrown the football well in my opinion given the short time he's been able to participate in OTA's.
  19. Marcus Easley has made the biggest offensive play of the day from the WR position on two or three occasions and finished OTA's off with the biggest catch of the day in double coverage, Plus caught another TD pass from Tyler Thigpen.(well thrown ball) I know I'm a big homer and a huge fan of underdogs like Easley , but in my opinion OP, Marcus Easley will become an Elite WR in the NFL. I Billieve...
  20. Good read, Didn't realize Shep needed to lose so much weight and I hope it doesn't wear on his body as the season wears on...
