Yup, really is a pleasure having a fellow poster with the insight and knowledge of a Damond Talbot. Everyone here knows how much doggie wanted former Cuse signal caller, Ryan Nassib. Although I still believe we may have skipped over a real good QB, after getting a quick run down from Talbot on some of the main reasons why Buffalo liked EJ Manuel over all the other prospects, I for one feel much better about the QB selected 1st round in the 2013 NFL Draft/ going into the future for the Buffalo Bills. Thanks man, perhaps you should give up your day job and go at it full time

Competition at the QB position is a good thing and IF it was me I could personally care less how Manuel, Kolb or anyone else takes adding another signal caller because If they really are the best then they can prove it. The main problem is Buddy Nix painted himself into a corner when he asked Travis Jackson to stay on because he gave Jackson the impression he would be given a fair shot at the starting job. Another problem is the Buffalo Bills have holes to fill...

Lack of sufficient arm strength is fairly obvious though Weo, vs pocket awareness, trouble reading defenses or going through progressions, which by the way does not appear to be the case from what I've seen so far on Manuel. EJ Manuels ability to throw on the run with accuracy is one of his biggest attributes. EJ's accurate rolling left (70% completion), accurate rolling right (68%) and has an 80% completion rate on anything over 20 yards.

I also questioned barkleys arm strength, Damond Talbot just gave me a good run down on why the Buffalo Bills wanted manuel and I came away from the discussion impressed

I think you may have misunderstood what I was saying San Jose (Barkley , Geno and Nassib probably have a higher ceiling then Travis Jackson)

Kolb will be the starter, Travis Jackson the backup (my humble opinion)

The homer in me gave the draft a B and said yes to the Maneul question. In hindsight though,Buddy Nix painted himself into a corner with Travis Jackson and had a handful of QB's with higher ceiling potential he could have chosen in the draft. (my humble opinion.) Geno, Barkley and or Nassib could have been drafted instead and it will be interesting to see how the top 3 rated prospects fair in the NFL.

Everyone knows how much dog wanted Nassib here in Buffalo, but I'm not completely let down because the New York Giants are my 2nd favorite Football team. I realize Nassib will be in a backup role, most rookies are, and you can't ask for better mentors then HC Coughlin and Eli Manning. Good Luck Ryan Nassib, love ya man, I know it hurts right now, but this is all for the best and one day it will be your turn. A Championship Caliber QB has been united with a Championship Caliber football team.

Another example of how a good player can slip deep into the draft like Tom Brady did before he was drafted by the New England Patriots. Another QB in the 2nd, Barkley, Smith or Nassib, might not be a bad idea in my opinion.

What Buddy Nix has done is give Buffalo another good QB in the 2nd ( if we so desire) it was a brilliant move... ( took awhile to sink in, hehe)
