  1. Well, they do have the worst colors and uniform in the NFL.
  2. Stunning generosity - over $143,000
  3. As someone who is close to the organization (PUNT), I can say the donations have been steady. They provide resources to those families in WNY who are battling pediatric cancer and struggling financially - it's such a great cause. Hopeful the mods won't delete my post if I give a $$ amount update sometime later today.
  4. Same thing happened to me weight training - I got golfer's elbow from doing pullups. It fully healed in about 10 months and it really limited me from doing simple chores around the house. I wouldn't wish it upon anyone.
  5. This is a big concern for the Rams - he must be having alot of pain. Tennis elbow, golfers elbow is extremely painful and it takes alot of time to fully heal.
  6. No issues - 'sucked' is a bit harsh to describe him in Houston when compared to 2 weeks prior in Green Bay. He was not good at Lambeau. We can agree to disagree. In the context of where he was in his rookie year, I believe that is when he started his ascension.
  7. He was starting to put it together in the Texans game before he got hurt. The ascension was just delayed a bit with the injury.
  8. Should have kept Moorman
  9. Yeah, why add a future HOF TE with alot left in the tank? The guy has won everywhere he has gone in the NFL. This would be a huge get for the Bills - championship pedigree would fit in very well with this team.
  10. Beware of the drama queen QBs that worry too much about what their hair looks like, e.g., Rodgers, Murray.
  11. Matthew Smiley named special teams coordinator per Bills.
  12. He's overly concerned about what his hair looks like when he takes off his helmet.
  13. That doesn't prove racism. It proves that the bank didn't abide by HMDA regulations. Mistakes happen, but dig deeper for overt racism.
  14. In their twisted approach to winning at all costs, yes, the Dolphins were tanking for the opportunity to draft a franchise QB, because they know that is a very likely path to winning consistently. Why would they tank and decrease revenue opportunities from increased ticket sales, merchandise sales, etc., if they were solely interested in profits, and not winning? The owners are billionaires, they are smart, and they are ultra competitive. With respect to Ralph, I agree with you - but I don't think that mentality exists in today's NFL ownership. I do have some knowledge on the subject of institutional racism. Institutional racism did exist and federal regulations, such as Home Mortgage Disclosur Act, Equal Credit Opportunity Act, Community Reinvestment Act, etc., have been implemented to eliminate discrimination - as such, it has been eliminated since the early 1980s. Affirmative action policies have also promoted the opportunities for minorities. Some may say AA policies have even over corrected the issue. However, throwing money at issues hasn't worked in the past. And people blaming their problems on racism is short sighted, and unfortunately is a knee jerk reaction. We need to dig deeper, for truth instead of accusations.
  15. You are implying that the players have the lowest power level? Really? Lamar Jackson does not have any power in the Ravens organization? Examples of industries you speak of? As far as evidence of "win at all costs", this is competitive sports at the highest level, so yes, i do think it is win at all costs. Race baiting at its finest - nothing factual to back up the accusations.
  16. KDIGGZ - thank you for being a voice of reason. If racism is rampant throughout the league, owners would not employee black players. If your response to that is "well, they want to win at all costs, despite their racist feelings", then wouldn't that be the same approach / feelings the owners would have toward black head coaches? The Rooney rule stokes the flames of racism - it needs to go away.
  17. The hiring process is not a sham - people will hire who they want to hire, in all types of jobs. It happens all the time and has nothing to do with race. What is a sham is the rule that states there must be a minority interviewed. Get rid of the rule.
  18. Just imagine if Edmunds made one or two big-time plays during the KC game. They need a game changing player on defense - they have alot of good to very good players, but nobody elite or at a star level. The offense did all they could that game, the defense let them down.
  19. Yep - need that game changer or 2 on defense. Could have used a sack on the last drive in regulation. Still sad about the game.
  20. I recently had drywall hung and mudded. I will be priming the walls in the morning, then watching football..
  21. He needs a winter beater, e.g., '76 Monte Carlo.
  22. The Browns are a trainwreck. When was the last time Baker made a play or was a difference maker on the field? He may be a good backup somewhere later in his career.
