It really is amazing how great this class has been, the top 4 (Watkins, Evans, Beckham, Benjamin) are already some of the best in the league and will most likely be stars for the next 10 years. When you look at the second tier as well its crazy that the WR class wasn't really that big of a story leading up to the draft. I remember some people mentioning it was a strong class but 4 superstars and 5 more excellent starters?!
That being said, anyone who says they'd prefer any of the others over Watkins is fooling themselves. Beckham is closest but his success depends almost entirely on his elite speed and athleticism which will fade over time and is susceptible to even very minor injuries. Evans plays against 2nd corners and Benjamin gets targeted like 20 times a game so their stats are inflated. Yeah we paid a hefty price but having a superstar like Sammy for the next 10+ years is going to be very sweet.
