As someone who frequently reads these threads but rarely posts, I felt compelled to comment. The thing with Woods is that at times he looks very good and other times it is as if he is not even on the field. And yes, sometimes he drops balls that he shouldn't. My good friend who happens to be a Pats* fan drools over Woods. For a second think of Woods going to NE and not Hogan. Scary thought, right? I think Woods is a good receiver who has suffered as a result of his youth and lack of experience at the pro level coupled with inconsistent quarterback play.

I'm not sure the front office would do this but I can't say I disagree with you. I remember feeling after he was put on IR last year that the defense lacked the intensity they had over the first several games.

I agree with Flatlander. It's too early to panic. I think we'll have a better idea of where Mario and the rest of the team are at in a few more weeks. If they continue to fold like they did against New England than we can start throwing blame. I am just hoping they keep the game close on Sunday.

I could not have said it better myself. We're so conditioned to think that the FO will keep every draft pick that we fail to notice the obvious; this team is getting better and consequently it is more likely Buddy will let picks walk. If they had the room to keep all of these late round picks I'd find it troubling given the 2012 offseason.
