I have visions of Michael Vick and CJ Spliller running Chip Kelly's offense and I get all giddy

So far Kansas State is very boring to watch. I'm just hoping for a good close game and keeping a watchful eye on Oregon. I love watching all the speed he has on the field. Actually, there offense seems similar to what the Redskins do with RG3.

Chip Kelly HC! (possibly for the Browns)

And who ever said he was going to bring the exact same style offense to Buffalo? In the you tube clip a few pages back, right at the end he says something like : you have to build your team around the players you have. If the strength of our team was a power running game, we would be in the I formation. It's not about the style of offense. It's about being an innovator and being on the cutting edge for once!!!! One more point. How many of his offensive players have gone to the pros? drafted? Not many if any. It's about the system and matchups on the field. They guy just flat out gets it. Its not about the players. It's about putting them in a position to succeed. -

I still laugh that Jimmy Johnson was doing commercials for "Extenze" when his first and last name is Slang for the product he was promoting. Pure Marketing Genius. -

Unfortunately, Jason LaCanfora reported that Chip's likely landing spot is Cleveland, Philly or staying at Oregon per his Twitter. Here's to hoping he's wrong! -

Just read that Belicheat brought out Chip Kelly over the Summer so that he could learn some of the nuances of his Oregon offense, and implement some aspects of it. We did see New England run a hurry style type offense on occasion. If its good enough for Belicheat it's good enough for me. Gotta get this done!! -

This is the ONLY candidate in my opinion. If Russ wants to fill the seats and win some games, this is the guy. I can see Vick running his offense and CJ running wild. I live in Atlanta and would consider season tickets if they bring in Chip Kelly. It won't guarantee games but it sure would guarantee excitement -
You call that a beard?!?

Hey Fitz, remember, at the first point of distress, put your head down; and NOT downfield where the receivers are trying to get open for you. Just run around like a chicken with a noodle arm and its head cut off. Chan to himself as Fitz saunters away: god I hope he screws this up like he always does. What else do I have to do to get fired around here.

Yeah, the only real information I got out of that interview was: They will be keeping our coaching staff in place next year They will be drafting a franchise QB in the Round 1 or Round 2 in this years draft Buddy Nix: "I am not leaving Buffalo without a Franchise QB in place". I was encouraged that they realize that they do not have a franchise QB in Fitz, and will be looking to bring one in.

For the first time in several years, the top tier AFC teams aren't what they used to be. As of now, there really isnt a clear cut, without a doubt, top tier echelon group of team(s). If we are ever to make a playoff push, this is the year! There finally seems to be some parity in the AFC and we need to get out *&%$% together, and take advantage of it. Just a few examples: Houston - Very good team, but didn't look like it last night and can be beaten. New England - Very good team, but they are 3-3 and are slowly becoming inconsistent week to week Baltimore - Very good team, but are now going to have to deal with injuries and a tough division Pittsburgh - Good team, battling Injuries and an overall again roster San Diego, Denver, Jets - All decent teams but are beatable I'm not ready to say we are or aren't making the playoffs, and it certainly won't be easy with a underperforming QB and a porous defense, but for the first time in years we have a legitimate chance based on our remaining schedule and the recent struggles of the top echelon teams. Let's hope they can get it together and make a playoff push in December. (Which will also fill those December seats at the Ralph) Here's to cautious optimism.....

We aren't even competing or in games anymore. We just get blown right out and have no answers. So deflating.
