It’s time to have an uncomfortable conversation about Taron
ganesh replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think Josh will give it here for 2 more seasons and if he does not win the SB, he is getting himself out of Buffalo to another contender (possibly in the West Coast) where he will get a chance to win the SB...sort of like Stafford. -
Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement
ganesh replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall
Typically are...Bloggers are in front of their computer and the #1 thing that comes to you is the ability to do quick research, especially via statistics...Now ChatGPT can take it to a completely different level in that it can even give me his analysis that he desires (identify patterns etc). Journalists are at the event and don't have time to do the research by themselves..they typically have screeners for them that may feed them a few key things here and there...But their focus typlically is on the event. I am not sure if they are fact based....as one has to first trust their sources....I think it is more based on statistics and this is in evidence in Marino's podcast...he simply reels of numbers in every podcast....he is very good at consuming the numbers and forming his opinions and convincing his audience that it is correct. We really missed him in the Atlanta game..Not sure if he will be playing this Sunday. -
Joe Marino's 9 point plan for improvement
ganesh replied to D. L. Hot-Flamethrower's topic in The Stadium Wall
Marino uses a lot of statistics to build his content for his show and it is a fixed structure. It is predominantly based on the statistics around the game (both pre and both) as the basis for his show. These are typical of bloggers and podcaster's. Journalists by nature are looking at the events and report them as is without attaching different contexts to it. They are more of reporters than analysts if that makes sense. -

Marino is not a journalist. He is more of a podcaster. -

Max Hairston to return to practice from IR
ganesh replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
And the last two games were anyway on the offense. They ***** the bed. I doubt it. Leg injury means they are not running..which means their cardio is off; I can't seem them put him on an NFL field without the proper conditioning -
Roster Support over the past three years (Beane)
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott has influenced Beane to make all those defensive picks in the 1st three rounds and neglecting the offense. The lack of offensive weapons is stunning and with the OL puking the last two games, it has really shown its true colors. -
Roster Support over the past three years (Beane)

or the Mahomes trade or the Worthy Trade .... Sheesh...it is what it is! so true in every aspect. He has panicked on every 1st round or 2nd round picks. He doesn't let the draft come to him. we pick too much for the need. And the huge contracts doled out to Benford, Rosseau and Bernard are going to bite this team for a long time (like it has been with Milano) -
The Athletic - some grim stats (new Tim Graham piece)
ganesh replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
May be time to make the change. Bring some one from the backup list -
well said...If these guys cannot beat man coverages, then we are going to be really cooked. The tough YAC for Shakir has disappeared...We really missed the in-form receiver in Kincaid on Monday night.

I am tired of the predictable scheme of running the football on 2nd down every time (at least it seems like that) and we gain 1-yard and a puff of dust

Would you want to see Josh play hardball with the organization?
ganesh replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh had a below average to terrible game on Monday Night. He himself will be the first to state that. Time for the entire team and the coaching staff to reflect and get a reality check; pick up and move on to the next game. The Bye couldn't have come at a MUCH better time for this team. Why wouln't the Bills bring Cooper back from retirement. He really helped keep things honest -
Benford looks a shell of himself. Rookies Hairston and Strong both are out due to bad injuries (Strong's may be career ending). Tre has been average or below average. Rapp is pretty bad Bishop is playing average Johnson is playing average Without that coverage, that DL is not getting the time to get to the QB. DBs are supposed to be McDermott's strengths...This year - it has been anything but that. Plus we are not getting the turnovers that we have always got...

30 penalties over the last three games..really disturbing and disgusting

Not involving Cook more on offense is costing this offense. -

Allen definitely missed Kincaid today -
Michael Palmer article in SU Paper this morning
ganesh replied to machine gun kelly's topic in The Stadium Wall
We don't need Palmer running down the line 40-50 yards from scrimmage...We can target him in the 10-20 yard region and likely to see better success. Currently. those targets are going to Kincaid and Coleman -
He is another Andy Reid.

They should be throwing to James Cook more often.
