Completely agree... Signing Samuel was definitely a bad idea..it also shows the lack of long term thinking by this Bills Brass. Unfortunately, the guys they brought in for the perimeter have not panned out. That is on the coaching staff

What complexity ? Our offense plays in the 1st 5 yards from the scrimmage....It is throwing to RBs, slants to all the WRs or bubble screens...The only guy who catches anything downfield have been Kincaid and Knox.

When you pay huge contracts to average players, you cannot sign superstars to play opposite to them. You either get washed up players or players that are injured.

To be fair to Beane, those speedy receivers are gone in the top half of the draft and that is not where we were pickig the past five years. The other speedy receivers that go in the 4th and 5th rounds are 'flyers' taken on one-trick ponies. There is a rare chance that they become superstars like a Tyreek Hill; but the odds are against it. The only mistake Beane may have made is swapping picking McConkey vs Coleman. It is somewhat a wash as both are inconsistent at best with McConkey being slightly better than Coleman (For every McConkey highlight reel, one can find a similar Coleman highlight reel).

The Bills have kept the games against the Chiefs close only because of Allen and his heroics. Otherwise, this offense is nothing and will get blown away easily as we saw the last few weeks when Allen himself does not play well. You measure a coach's success against the best of the best and in that department McDermott and his defense has MOSTLY come back small. They have not been able to get over the hump.

anybody will be an upgrade over Injured Bernard and Dorian Williams. The Bills currently have only one healthy LB and that is Thompson more importantly - how much does he count against the Salary Cap
