He sucked in Buffalo...He sucked in Washington...He sucked in Jacksonville....He stunk it up in New Orleans...and yet he is getting his 4th DC job.... The NFL is a old-boys network indeed...

The only other UFA that I want on this team is Scott Chandler. He has been productive @ the TE spot and will only get better as Fitz will learn to go to him even in the middle of the field rather than only the end zone. I hope the Bills make a good play for him.

The Patriots beat 1team with a winning record
ganesh replied to 1B4IDie's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And we played the Pats, Jets and Dolphins twice each and the final verdict was 1-5....Until this team learns to win within this division it will not make the playoffs. -
That is what a Pass rush does...Throws the player off his rhythm. Once the rhythm is gone and the players on your face, it does not matter whether it is Brady or Rodgers or Fitzpatrick...The result will be the same. The Bills need that kind of pass rush on their front 7. Can Nix deliver via FA or the Draft? Mario Williams with Dareus and Williams would be an awesome DT. And it was a 3-4....What happened to Clay Mathews this year...I didn't hear his name that much...

Fitz game went down the drain, when his Center went down to injury. Wood gave him that extra second in the pocket and that made a big difference in his ability to step up and throw (or the inability)

Aaron Williams Drafted then Andy Dalton
ganesh replied to Hsp08's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Aaron will be a good pick for us. What I really wanted is that 3rd round pick, when Ryan Mallet was sitting and we missed the boat...A Strong Armed QB in Buffalo! -
The way to win for the Bills: Draft Well....Build a team of Super stars with your home grown talent. The FA will then come....It happened.....Bryce Paup, Ted Washington, Chris Spielmen./.....Super Stars in their own right played FA contracts here when the team was winning...

The Bills need to stop drafting players out of position and then trying to fit them into the new position...They have failed miserably in the past decade.....

Mike Mularkey is Jags new head coach
ganesh replied to mellaman101's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The JAX situation is no more different than the Bills....plus they absolutely don't have a fan base....empty seats covered up....potential to move to LA.... Mularkey left because he did not want to start Losman as his QB....That was going to be a lame duck status as a coach... I actually liked Mularkey as a HC. His blunder was in having very weak OC and DC. Tom Clements as the OC was just horrible... If he had a decent DC instead of the junk in Jerry Gray, he would have had a chance... In spite of all that, Mularkey is the only HC to have had a winning season for the Bills in the last 12 years! -
Carson Palmer was not the issue. CP will be ok when he gets an Off season under his belt. In fact he performed much better than Fitz in the same number of games. The problem was that the Raiders were just a very ill-disciplined bunch...They had the highest number of penalties...that explains the lack of focus starting from the HC...And no one could control the temper of Seymour.

Who Thinks Denver Can Beat Pittsburgh This Week?
ganesh replied to BuffaloBillsForever's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Even a Blind Squirrel can find a nut once in a while -
The key is that they had a chance to pick the Franchise QB in Matt Ryan and go after Turner in the FA market. The rest was good drafting and FA. Kudos to them for building both the teams On and Off the field. They also signed Michael Turner to a FA contract.

They can be patient because they have Marivn Lewis as their HC and he is a pretty good coach..Not like the stiffs we have had around One Bills Drive.

Report: Indy Colts' short list for new GM includes ...
ganesh replied to merlin's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Promo, I am not sure what the Bills could have done in this situation unless Whaley is promoted to GM of this organization. Is Buddy Ready to step down and promote Whaley from inside. And if Whaley does become the GM, does he have a say in who his HC will be...May be Gailey is not his guy. -
reggie wayne, bowe, mike wallace, robert mathis

I just can't see this team paying FA price for two #1 WRs....when they have so many other holes on the team -
And Washington too..

So, why no love for Fitz? How was 6-10 his fault?
ganesh replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I disagree. The defense on this team was way too inconsistent for the offense to have overcome...The season went down the toilet, when Williams, Wood and Freddie went on IR and Chan just could not trust CJ. And he is also the 1st QB since Kelly to post back-to-back 3000 yard seasons.....Fitz is kind of guy that needs to be surrounded with talent and he can win. He is not a vocal leader and cannot win games by his own will (Like a Ben). In many ways, he is more like a Brady who needed all that talent on the OL and WR corps to win consistently. -
Could Wannstedt Make a Play at Chan's Job in 2013?
ganesh replied to FrankReichComeback's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I thought that was Donahoe's kids -
The Bills probably have concluded that with the talent they have in Williams and Dareus, they are better of running a traditional 4-3. May be Wannestedt runs a 4-3 rather than a 3-4.....Now the issue is to go and find two starting DEs and depth on the line. Kellen Heard has done himself good for the depth part...Now can they find two good DEs, one in the draft and another in FA? That will also reduce the impact on needing pass rushing OLBs.

Disappointed: 1. The Bills did not make the playoffs for a 12th straight season. Nothing beats that. 2. Disappointed with the horrible coaching on the Defense. 3. Disappointed that David Nelson did not blossom into a true 2nd or 3rd WR (especially after a great finish last year and a hot start this year). 4. Disappointed that Dareus was not a game changer as it was predicted....Dareus has been OK, but not a monster like a Suh. 5. Disappointed that the 2010 Draft class could not get on the field except for Spiller. 6. Disappointed that the Bills won ONE game after starting 5-2....2-10 in the last 12 is horrible.... 7. Disappointed that Wood had a season ending injury again 8. Disappointed that the ST was very average under DeHaven...May it is time for him to hang up.

So, why no love for Fitz? How was 6-10 his fault?
ganesh replied to Dr. Trooth's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your original was "If 6-10 his fault?". A QB gets the accolades when the team wins and takes the criticisms when his team loses. As the other poster mentioned, when you throw 23 INTs (whether the WRs were at fault or not), you are going to take some of that blame...Also as a leader, somehow that spark is missing of leading this team...He is too quiet to be a leader...How else can you explain a Stevie Johnson repeatedly costing the team games and yet Fitz is yet to say a word against Stevie... -
We get to play two weak divisions in AFC South and NFC West....

Chan's offensive Choice s this season
ganesh replied to bowery4's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or run the Wild Cat...It got 4-5 yards every time they ran it at the beginning of the season. Not to forget the absence of Wood in the middle of that OL....Wood was getting consistent push up front....something that allowed Jackson to thrive in the Red zone. And did not have the players to execute it...once Wood, Jackson were gone. -
The Bills have to sign Freddie at least for the reason that he doesn't join the Patriots....Belichek will immediately swoop him, if he were ever to become a FA and Freddie will be great in that offense.
