I don't think the week 18 is going to matter. Most of the people voting for the MVP have already made their mind based on their bias...A week 18 stat is not going to change their mind (and it shouldn't as they should look at the whole body of work).

Week 18 is going to be amazing...so many storylines... Baltimore and Pittsburgh playing for the 3rd seed Denver going into KC to get the #7 seed. Dolphins trying to beat the Jets and hoping for a miracle in mile high city Who is going to work hard to lose their final game...Giants or the Patriots with the Patriots controlling their destiny to land the top pick in the 2025 draft. And closing out the regular season on SNF where the Lions and Vikings will fight for the #1 seed or the #6 seed; somewhat similar to what the Bills and Dolphins went through last season in the final week. Exciting week 18 is on the cards. Go Bills !!!

Why is the owner at fault here..unless he pushed Rodgers on Saleh and Douglas.

12/29/24 GAMEDAY Week 17 Bills vs Jets Post Game Thread

The Patriots are also likely to tank so that they can keep the top pick in the draft. -
I am sure the same argument will apply to the Bills OL. They have been amazing and extremely solid. They have opened massive holes for James Cook to have a career year and for Josh to sit in the pocket and pick the defense apart.

Random talking head says something about the Bills

Of course everyone knows that...The point of a message board is for fans to share their opinions and discuss the good, bad, ugly of it. Otherwise, what is the point? -

But would Pegula insist on him bringing a DC with a better scheme....Would Schwartz come here as DC ? I don't know if yesterday's defensive performance was because we played well or if the Jets offense sucked ? -
Not in the playoffs though...We likely will be facing Lamar, Mahomes and Hurts or Jordan Love.
-
The Patriots also got a gift from the Giants...Now they control their own destiny to get the 1st overall pick. They can parlay that into multiple blue-chip picks for building their roster...I don't see the Patriots wanting to win this game and lose that windfall of draft picks.

@steelers will be a SNF or MNF game. It looks like the Bills will play one TNF, SNF and MNF at home... As usual CBS will not give up the Chiefs game...so the SNF or MNF will get Baltimore, Miami and/or Cincinnati. Also, game against Philadelphia is likely to be a Fox prime time game.

The short passing game is what has been working for Allen. I don't see Brady going away from it along with the running game. Don't try to fix something that is not broken. Go Bills !!!
-
I assume Buffalo ALSO gets the #2 seed if both Pittsburgh and Baltimore lose their final game (and we lose both games)
-
And he has also struggled to beat teams with average QBs...A washed up Rivers almost took us out....We allowed a Skylar Thomson quartebacked Dolphins to hang around (even take the lead) till the end....they blew a 17 point lead to the Texans led by Watson.

Broncos, Ravens, Chiefs - Can the Bills run through this gauntlet.

I also want to have our best players on the field... If Williams is playing better than Milano, then he should be on the field. If Knox is playing better than Kincaid, then he should be the starting TE....If Bishop is playing better than Rapp or Hamlin then put him on the field. If Solomon is better than Epenesa then put him on the field more often. The Eagles struggled with the same during the Andy Reid years...The same goes for the 49ers as much as for the Bills...They simply are not able to get over that hump...Similarly for Zach with the Bengals -
Or an upset of the Chiefs by the Steelers or Ravens can still make the road to New Orleans go through Orchard Park. In the Playoffs, anything is possible. Go Bills !!! Curious to know - Are the Bills only team to have lost back to back playoffs at home ?
-
Still too many scenarios to put the Broncos in...Yes they are the favorites as they are in with a win...but it is the NFL and on any given Sunday..... Go Bills !!!

Greg Gumbel RIP- Sorry had Bryant's name on this first.

One of the best. May his soul RIP. -
But they also have lost 5 games..there is a footprint somewhere there that shows how to beat them.

Steelers at #6, go to Baltimore and upset them Then they go to Arrowhead as the lowest remaining seed and upset them Then they come to Buffalo for the AFC Championship game. The Bills take down Denver (#7 seed) and then get Chargers (who upset the Texans) in cold Buffalo in the Divisional round. This would be awesome if it happens. -

This assumes Steelers wins the North division or upsets a divison winner as a wild card. Chargers winning against the Chiefs at Arrowhead would be a HUGE upset. -
is there anyone on the roster that can play that position.
-
How about both as Deion would say in the 90s
-
I think OP is looking at it from the perspective of how each player is helping his team win a super bowl. On that front, Worthy has made better impact as he has played all the games in the season whereas Coleman has missed more than a quarter of a season.

Ravens/Texans, Christmas Day Game 2 (no Bills talk please)
ganesh replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
The key for the Bills is going to be able to take a early lead and keep the Ravens offense one-dimensional. For this Josh has to play the perfect (not the super-hero) game. He needs to be precise with his passes and move the chains and keep the Ravens offense off the field..That is how the Bills will beat them. Go Bills !!!
