DB Horn signed to extension (For those thinking about a Benford Deal)
ganesh replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
why? The NFL has given each team $275 Million to spend on their roster....The teams have to spend that money (at the minimum) and a lot more in bonuses (real cash) to build their teams. The players win.... -
Von Miller & Bills trying to agree on contract?
ganesh replied to Warriorspikes51's topic in The Stadium Wall
The problem was that he disappeared in the game against the Chiefs. -
Eagles reset RB market, extend Barkley.
ganesh replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Barkley was a top-5 pick...Cook was picked at the top of the 2nd round. Why are we even comparing the two of them, especially considering their style of play is so different. Cook is a critical part of the Bills offense and so is Barkley for the Eagles... -
There are plenty WRs available in the FA market.... Amari, Williams, Hopkins... some are going to be available via trade like Kupp, Sutton, Pickens, Adams etc..

Correct. We need to pay Minimum via a draft pick and use the remaining $2M+ in other situations. This is the same they have to do for resigning Johnson too...If he is our 3rd back, we cannot afford to pay him $3M+...

When you have the #1 QB in the NFL and the ball is in your hands and you have to drive down to win the AFCC, you have to take care of business. I agree that Allen is the least of the problem, but with the guy who has the ball in his hand on all offensive plays needs to have "that drive" that is historic.

The Bills do not have the necessary pass rush to win in the playoffs. their Playoff losses have been close only because of Josh Allen. Having said that, Josh also had the ball in his hands to drive down for the game winning TDs. the last two years and he did not complete the job. I am sure he himself will be regretting that he could not complete the job on the last drives in the last two games.

This is now on Beane, no question he needs to step up.

what changes do you propose on this defense. -
Even if they draft a guy similar to him, they want to see better performance. They know what they have in Jones. They need to see something different.

This is quoting some of the things that the Eagles defensively did and minimizes them....those exact things are what made it difficult for Mahomes and flustered him

Bills hiring new special teams coordinator Chris Tabor
ganesh replied to iwishitwerecolder's topic in The Stadium Wall
we could have hired Fangio instead as the DC this season. He made a huge difference in the SB -
we need to replace a starting CB as Douglas will hit FA....Not a starting safety. I would rather speculate about every single player on the DL

When the Bills can gift Worthy to their #1 opponent in the Chiefs then anything can happen.
-
Definitely need a change in management for McDermott. He needs to stop wasting Josh Allen's prime years.

Bills expected to hire CB coach Pellegrino from Patriots
ganesh replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
this. The two DC in the SuperBowl are daylights ahead of Babich. McDermott is screwing around Josh Allen's prime years with this stupid tinkering.....He needs to swallow his pride and not be afraid to bring in someone who might even threaten his own position. Think what Fangio could have done with this defense knowing that he has Josh Allen on the offense. -
Matthew Smiley out as Special Teams coach
ganesh replied to Buffalo_Stampede's topic in The Stadium Wall
Which would really suck -
The Worthy Trade Keeps Looking Worse and Worse
ganesh replied to Bills Costa Rica's topic in The Stadium Wall
Beane's fault was not going up and getting Brian Thomas Jr. We were desperate for a blue chip WR. -
We had a chance to hire Fangio at the beginning of this season..but chose to an internal candidate... Was McDermott afraid to bring in outside competition?

Sad News. RIP. Handled his job with grace...as another poster mentioned - the team was devoid of talent.
