I think the offense run by Daboll and Shannahan are two different. You can't expect Jones to just drop into Santa Clara and somehow take the 49ers to the playoffs.

The thing is that Purdy is also the reason why there are 8-9 all-pros/pro-bowlers on that team...

Not Von Miller ? I think even the Daquan Jones contract looks bad now. Plus they overpaid for Poyer in his final season when we should have bit the bullet and gone the draft way.

The difference is Purdy wins games...while Tua not so much. At the end, it is the W-L record that counts.
