Comparing EJs 1st 10 Games to Kelly's

You are right, I don't know what goes on beyond the field, but the body language after mistakes tells a lot. I am just one fan and I am not saying my opinion is better than anyone's else's. Please don't think I am sitting here representing my self as a know it all. However, as much as I loved that Manuel gathered the troops in the bears game, the fact that FredEx was the more vocal and more demanding presence is what I am referring to. Marrone was saying in regards to some of Manuel's mistakes, that it could be in part to people not being in the right places. I fore one would like to see Manuel get over to those players and be vocal about fixing the mistakes. Especially if he is the one taking the grunt of the physical abuse as a result of it. -
Lol, seriously, I don't understand what people expected. I agree that buffalo shouldn't have baby gloved Manuel. A Rex Grossman type or even Carr whom could help mentor and give Manuel someone to ask questions and heed advice would be better in a way. However, does anyone expect Aaron Rodgers to be part of the packers cuts and a future Buffalo Bill?

Comparing EJs 1st 10 Games to Kelly's

If I may, the one big difference is Jim played in a league that was a good transition type from college to nfl. Furthermore, Jim demanded perfection from his teammates. No one got off the hook and Jim was an in your face type. Manuel seems to have the head and the drive but doesn't have that edge to him. Seems like more of the other players have that element and it might not be the best route, I always wanted my QB to be the one to set the tone -
Lol man these boards are almost worse than the buffalobills message board. This is a low end move I don't understand what people expected.

EJ's post game press conference

Did anyone ever really listen to Kiko talk to the media? Not the best speaker, but in the same regard that didn't change how people felt about his play. I'm not to worried about what my players sound like at a podium. -
I hope a guard slips through someone's grasp as well as a punter and potential a tight end

I could be wrong but wasn't our defense leading all teams in takeaways this off season?

Did EJ have time to get this to Fred?
BillsFan17 replied to fansince88's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly, Freddy was there but like I said in an earlier post, you have a DB looking to break towards Fred. #27 seems to be following Manuel's eyes after letting his receiver off to the next level and clearly notices Freddy as an option. Much like the play Robey made early in the game by sniffing out the play. Everyone loved robey for that but yet would blame Manuel for setting Freddy up for a big hit had he dumped it off with a DB looking to break towards Jackson. -

Yes, but in the same regard the DB looks to be #27 appeared to be breaking towards Freddy, could be why Manuel didn't dump it off -
I agree, a lot of this was on the o line. A lot of good plays were negated and often the field position was awful too boot. How many teams can over come needing 30 yards for a first down? I'm just saying although Manuel struggled, the kid had little time in the pocket and often faced a rush that looked almost unblocked. Sme need to keep in mind the bucs have invested heavily in their defense, especially their defensive line.

How many plays were negated because of penalties? If I was spiller I would have lost my mind. Every time the kid did something explosive the play was negated by a call. How often did Manuel have someone in his face? Larry English of all people had two sacks, one the guy was absolutely unblocked. How many times did players slip on our awful surface? How often did we see the same three or four plays ran just to different sides of the field? As if marrone and Hackett were treating this like a practice and were going to keep running the same plays until they executed them correctly. Not making excuses but there was so much wrong with our offense last night that goes beyond Manuel. Moreover, I love hearing about how all these players looked so good against second team defenses but yet when Manuel absolutely torches a second team defense it gets discredited. The team came out with a totally different mind set and I think they said to them selves in the locker room to throw out the pre season game plan and go at this as if it was the regular season. Dress Rehearsal or not, you aren't going to show your play book, which was evident in the first half, then in the second there were plays that actually had me excited. All-in-all, I come away from this game thinking we can still have a quality offense if they show some darn discipline.

Manuel is a bust end of story

Manuel is making the right reads and that throw on the run was a thing of beauty

Stats prediction - EJ Manuel
BillsFan17 replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Honestly, I am pulling for EJ3 in so many ways, hut I am seeing something like ... 3,000 ball park 19 TDs 16INTs 4 Fumbles, two lost. I want to say better numbers, but with the injuries stinting a lot of the growth, Manuel is basically having an encore rookie experience. Combine that with not seeing a lot in game time decisions. Practice the kid bas improved week in and week out. All we hear is how this practice is the nest in a bills uniform. Yet, that has not translated in the pre season all that much. -
We haven't had a winning season in how long? We have had coaches whom are "soft" "players coaches." Where did that get us? Marrone is trying to change a culture here. Why is this a bad thing? How is this a sign of losing the team? If anything this sends a message my way or the highway. Just ask Stevie (one of my fav bills mind you), I mean it's not like we are the broncos or Seahawks and have a winning culture that is being shake up. Things need to change and a lot of the "leaders" we do have, have not experienced winning and need something to help snap them out of this.

EJ a QB fantasy sleeper

I nabbed spiller despite the depth. Spiller is still going to be the feature back. I def wouldn't draft ej3, but then again I do feature foles as my starting QB -
ESPN The Magazine NFL Edition is out.

Until we prove otherwise hard to argue with it. Slammer good to see you -
No way, marrone has been against fighting and vocal to that extent. Then you have an undrafted kid throwing closed fists at your starting center whom is a leader of the team. The kid might as well take his leave now

Florio says Marrone will be fired after this season

New ownership def could have an influence. However, with all the youth to change the guard so early could hurt more than help -
