  1. Listen, not all these draft pundits are right all the time. Mayock- Sanchez over Stafford. Stating Sanchez was the safest pick Also said Freeman was the safest pick in his draft despite only 16 starts. Was a HUGE Gabbert supporter. Like big time. Was willing to "put his back on the line for Gabbert." Absolutely hated Cam Newton. How about when both mike and Kiper had an absolute love affair with Jimmy Clausen? These guys are better than the average fan, but people need to stop acting like they are the end all be all. Peterman is def a very interesting prospect. Especially being the more pro stype versed QB in the class. I would have liked a higher completion percentage, but by his attempts, doesn't look like Pitt relied on the pass all that much. Would be a good mid round pick who to me tops out as a great back up and possible spot starter.
  2. I was going to say he looks like Charlie Villenueva
  3. Yeah, but we will have a chance to match whatever offer is made, and unless the offer is Hogan type ludicrous, than I see us matching.
  4. I absolutely love TD Mike. Would kill to keep him. However, we aren't looking for a feature back, his role ideally could be filled by a late round pick. I fore one hope Mixon goes undrafted and we are able to sign him.
  5. You will get an idea on exactly what the market thinks of Tyrod on what pick is offered up for him. Sure, teams could wait for us to let him walk, however, hey run the risk of him not wanting to sign with them. At the very least trading for him assures you minimum two year of his option. If the best they can get is a third, I still take it and have that as proof that he's not viewed as a top tier QB.
  6. It's just as easy to say if he makes those throws we might see the fruits of WAtkins and Clay being able to make a play on the ball. Watson's two games in back-to-back years against an NFL caliber defense on 'Bama prove enough to me. They consistently pump out first and second round talent... yet watson did some work against them and those things are ignored because the media isn't touting him enough for fans. Not for nothing, all to often I read this and that won't translate to the NFL. Yet, year after year we see anomalies and parody. That's what makes the NFL so great, if there was a formula then every team would have a franchise QB.
  7. Yeah in and year out we hear about how "next year's class will be better." Moreover, my self included pointed out Watson as a Freshman at Clemson and last year many were saying wait until next year when you might have a shot at the likes of Watson. Also, how does anyone trust what anyone is saying right now? Especially a team like KC who could very well be in the market for a QB. Heck, even if they genuinely believe no QB is ready. They could still take one in the first and allow said QB to sit for a year or two behind Smith or someone else. You can't correct the position by never drafting it and always waiting for next year.
  8. I'm getting the feeling we will here Sidney Jones name called for us in April.
  9. If I recall, Rex more often than not had Washington taking on blockers. Thus, taking one of the best penetrating DTS in college college football and not utilizing him correctly at all. I think mcdermott can develop Washington.
  10. I dont need the combine to tell you how I feel about Watson, I would draft the kid at 10 seven days a week.
  11. If they can get something for Tyrod, go for it. However, you better have identified your guy and gother get him. A lot of QB needy teams drafting ahead of us.
  12. Believe me, I know. I am not a fan of Tyrod at all. However, the apologist only argument is the offensive rankings, as if our RUNNING GAME HAD NOTHONG TO DO WITH IT.
  13. What I don't get, all the Tyrod defenders, why can't we get a first round pick back for him?
  14. Formerly BillsFan on the BBMB, was a member since 2004 and that board got worse and worse.
  15. I will say this, if they hold onto Tyrod, and baring they bring in Alshon Jeffery- they absolutely should grab one of the big three at WR. Williams Davis Ross- although not a huge fan of ross. He's a bit more polished Goodwin if you ask me. The class of DBs is said to be extremely deep, I feel like we can almost wait a little to stock up on the back end.
  16. Would absolutely love to add Watson at the draft.
  17. La Canfora has been absolutely awful. No two ways about it. That being said, I don't want a room full of agreeing higher ups. Mcdermott touched on that sentiment the other day. However, there needs to be some sort of semblance with what is going to be done at the single most important position.
  18. One of my favorite players in this draft is Jones from Washington. However, I feel like the trend is we draft a CB,let them walk, draft another CB,rinse and repeat. I want to stop plugging the same holes.
  19. Revis will be going back to the Jets
  20. Hue would be a great higher no doubt about it. Has the credentials and the attitude to get that locker room to buy in.
  21. Without a doubt worth a look
  22. Like most have already said hard not to love this guy more and more. I too am a pitbull owner and can't stand their negative stigma. Pitties are easily some of the best dogs around.
  23. Funny, cause I know a lot of fans would have liked to sign decker here. I was not one but I see why some celebrate the jets potential short comings. I fore one don't think decker will be as bad as some seem to make him out to be. However, in the same regard to think the guy won't produce is foolish. Just because you have a stud QB doesn't mean you will put up those numbers. You still have to get open, make the catch and at times make plays beyond the defense. I mean was everyone of deckers 24 some odd TDs over the past two years with him already in the end zone? I'm not saying decker will have similar numbers in ny that he did in Denver because clearly he will be covered differently but the guy equals out to a higher end #2 WR
  24. Much like in Dallas. When those in charge want to be overly involved and don't want to let those they hired do their jobs things won't get accomplished.
