  1. Did I ever say he shouldn't be part of a competiton? Or did I say people saying he's out number 2 based on talent is the problem. If we draft a WR in the first two rounds that can't beat this guy out... Everyone is making it out like this guy is some diamond in the rough. Because most WRs who have had a single year of production really his their stride a year away from ther 30th B Day (will be 29 going into the season). I am pulling for him because he's on our roster, but I am also realistic.
  2. It's almost creepy how identical their first three years were.
  3. 1) Browns- Myles Garrett, DL Texas A&M 2) 49ers- Solomon Thomas, DL Stamford 3) Bears- Jamal Adams, S LSU 4) Jags- Johnathan Allen, DL Alabama 5) Titans- Malik Hooker, S OSU 6) Jets- Marshon Lattimore, CB OSU 7) Chargers- Corey Davis, WR W.Michigan 8) Panthers- Leonard Fournette, RB LSU 9) Bengals- Ruben Foster, LB Alabama 10) Bills- Mike Williams, WR Clemson
  4. That's the point, how can it be justified that this guy is the number two other than the lack of options? Fans trying to act like this guy is a #2 based on ability and not circumstance is the issue. If buffalo doesn't address the position early, we will be in trouble.
  5. Espn is reporting he ran a 4.49. Even if we stick with the 4.53, OJ ran a 4.50. I'll give you technically those three hundredths matter, but again espn is saying 4.49. As far as offensive philosophy, clemson was to get it to its playmakers. Kiffin couldn't figure out how to use Howard who saw production drop from last year to this year. So was it philosophy, was it coaching, or was it the speculated desire or lack there of to play ball? The kid has measurables sure, but a lot of players have tested well without the production to go with it and never amounted to anything. And I'm sorry that's a garbage argument that if teams knew about so and so they would have went higher... You could say that about Gates Graham Jordan Reed Witten Delanie Walker Rudolph Ertz It's like telling me we should over draft a QB cause if we knew Brady was going to be the best of his era he would have went first overall... That's not how the draft works, nor should you ever base picks off that logic. The only TE to go in the first who really lived up to the billing was Gonzo who went 13th overall in 1997.
  6. For starters I was being sarcastic about how much stock people put into 40 times. Secondly, Engram didn't post a 60 yard shuttle and his 20 yard was a shade under Howard. The three cone drill was seven hundredths difference. Not a huge difference. Yet with all these super duper superior skills Engram out produced him ON THE FOOTBALL FIELD. You wanna put stock into someones speed and workout numbers and not their play on the field. Don't realize TBD are huge Mike Mumula fans.
  7. You dont draft a TE in the first let alone top ten. 1) No he didnt 2) Straight line speed in shorts is not how you measure game speed. When, if ever do players run in a straight line for 40 yards? 3) And since when does ability and production go to the way side for an effin 40 yard dash time?
  8. How is howard faster? Reports range from 4.49 via ESPN to 4.51 and 4.53. Either way howard ran similar not better, so in essence he's not faster. Why wouldn't you want Engram over Howard? Engram had a better 40 Moreover, are we really basing a draft pick on straight line speed?
  9. Idk to me it feel like Williams will end up with stay lines closer to 10-15 targets, 8-10 catches 100-115 yards with 2 TD. Davis will finish with like 8-12 targets, 6 catches 150 yards and two TDs. I don't know if that makes sense to anyone. I guess the best way to say it is one is more Plexico Burress and the other is more Jordy Nelson.
  10. I feel like this mahomes talk is right up there with those who wanted Gabbert and those who wanted Nassib. As long as the media pumped them up, fans wanted them regardless of the multitude of red flags.

  12. Good! I want as much questions answered going into the draft as possible.
  13. Williams ran a 4.51 and a 4.53. Reports, scouts wanted to see a 4.55 or under.
  14. Yet the are all in the league, so... And again, Williams is on par with the average for a WR. Especially one of who is 6'4"
  15. Kelvin Benjamin, Larry Fitz, Brandon Marshall, Dez Bryant off the top of my head. Edit, phone kept changing Kelvin to Kevin If 40 times were so telling tell me about the careers of Heyward-Bey,Trindon Holliday, Jacoby Ford... Williams 40 time is pretty much on par with the average
  16. Give me a break, there also has only been two black QBs to win a SB. Yet, there are plenty of black QBs in the league... Can't make correlations based off of non game related quanitifcations. Boldin is not the exception to the rule. Guys like Rice ran slow 40s. Irvin and Dez Bryant ran 4.5. Larry fitz ran a 4.6
  17. Boldin ran a 4.71, played just fine. A 40 time isn't what dictates game speed. I am still BLOWN away at how much stock people put into a non game related measurement.
  18. Oh, I am sure there are plenty, and maybe even some at the QB position. However, more recently we have seen those who lack it between the ears at the QB position fizzle out.
  19. Are we really upset about a guy who had a decent season three years ago not actually being official with us? I understand there might be some talent there, but the guy is 28 and like I said- had a decent season three years ago.
  20. I understand the Mahomes love fest, but for the love of everything there is no way I'm taking him in the first let alone top ten. Maybe we if trade back into the bottom half of the first, but no thanks to that either.
  21. I'll be honest, I am totally shocked we aren't in on Poe or Hankins.
  22. Wonder what the leap was from the level of comp Carson Wentz had at North Dakota State to the NFL... I am not the biggest Trubisky supporter, but I think we are a bit beyond the level of comp argument.
