  1. Covering is one thing, being able to tackle is another. The guy is an absolutely awful tackler.
  2. Did anyone else realize Te'o was a FA? What a sad career path considering what he was once touted to be.
  3. And what makes him similar to Maybin, especially since he won't be playing DE. Might have looks with his hand in the dirt, but he's going to be a LB at the next level.
  4. Well, in that case, if we can't acquire more picks, Ragland better be worth the billing. He's the reason we don't have the fourth rounder this year.
  5. He fits the versatility check mark big time.
  6. Did you see how much money they spent last off season? Or having one of the best defenders in the entire league? Their LBS were absolutely awful regardless of what some website says
  7. You draft BPA. Gilmore was a very good corner but not without his faults. Remember, of all the guys we let walk, Winfield is the only one who was still highly successful. Nate flopped with that contract in San Francisco and Greer while good with the Saints wasn't anything special. Gilmore could flourish with NE, but at that price... I mean seems like we are damned if we do damned if we don't wit retaining players. That being said, I am really starting to lean towards Reddick as our pick.
  8. Yeah, unfortunately I don't think there is a chance he gets out of the top 20. I am starting to read more and more, and there is a sentiment he could be the first LB taken in the draft.
  9. I think Reddick could absolutely be a beast. Nfl.com posted something a few days ago about an NFC scout saying he could see Reddick going before Foster. I think the closet we get the draft and things get a little clearer. Guys like Haason and Taco will be talked about towards the top along with Conley and Barnett
  10. Exactly. I fore one think after Davis, Williams and Ross, Jones might be the next/best WR off the board. I love Smith-Schuster, but the extent of his health pushes him down a bit. I don't really like Samuel from OSU, and I don't think Kupp is going to go high.
  11. What worries me about Reynolds is his frame. Seems as if he might not be able to carry too much more on it and I don't see him having the strength as this level. Almost like a Justin Hunter type now that I think about it. A very good redzone target but might not be too muxh of an asset otherwise
  12. I was all about Sidney Jones, until the injury. I think White from LSU best fits what's we are looking to do.
  13. So plotics aside, sure, he's not good at the sport.
  14. And like Shaq Thompson who surprised people by being a fist rounder... peppers has no business being a first rounder.
  15. Awesome post! Glad someone is shedding some light on this kid. Love his style, plays a little stiff at times and isn't the greatest route runner yet, but man he has a full tool box. Def couold see him sneaking into the bottom of the second or early third.
  16. I am glad I am not alone one these assessments. I feel the same way when it comes to the OSU DBs. Which is a little worrisome to me that some think Conley is worth a high firsy rounder. You can see his name in some mocks pretty high. Heck I think Jeremiah of NFL.com has us selecting Conley. That pick would make me absolutely furious.
  17. Foster or either one o Barnett or Taco could be in the fold for Buffalo as well. They didn't target any in FA which is kind of weird considering some of the things we saw this season. Having a healthy (knock on wood) Lawson and Barnett on the ends would be nice in our division.
  18. I think williams or Davis could absolutely be 1B types. I am not oppose to taking one at all in the first. However, that being said I feel like there are a handful of kids who could be very good #2s in the NFL. If sammy can stay healthy and we find a way to get clay involved we might be able to get away with more of a #2.
  19. Okay, I apologize, I thought you meant none were worth a first rounder in general because there are a handful that will most likely go top 20. Heck, if Sidney Jones was still healthy I'm willing to bet he'd be in the fold at 10. Lattimore will not last until ten, that you can almost take to the bank. If he is there at ten. You run that card to the table and don't look back.
  20. In one of the deepest DB classes did you really say none are worth a first round pick? Or not worth a tenth overall?
  21. I'm just making a joke about sammy having to ask for more targets and "making him look bad."
  22. Clay has pretty much been here, what he was in Miami from a production stand point. Only missing four games out of 32 with us, which really isn't bad considering his knees. That to me says either he didn't take that next step in his career, or having a QB that is one of the worst passers in the league isn't helping. Can we upgrade from clay? I absolutely think so, however, I don't think spending the 10th overall pick on the position is the way to go.
  23. I think if Sidney Jones was healthy he would def be in the fold for us. Icould see Barnett or Taco being in the fold for us too. However, I think, at this point it will be between Williams and Davis
