  1. Now to be fair, in all those years, how many QBs have you seen come from an Air Raid offense and workout in the NFL?
  2. There was a reason he was not there. Why is that not clear by now?
  3. Overy 90 yards in both games. Only one TD. Came against Bama. Six catches against OSU and eight against Bama.
  4. Would take that draft!
  5. Problem with this, there are plenty that will show you stats of how well TT played with guys like Watkins and Woods in the lineup at the same time. I love williams and davis. However, the stats haven't been in the favor of taking WRs early. I can't envision Dennison being as ground and pound as Rex. I could absolutely see it being a focal point with the talent we have and have signed. However, their is an argument to be made by the Tyrod support crowd that he needs better weapons and someone like Williams or Davis would go a long way.
  6. Wasn't bad for NO last year. However, they are desperate for DB help and they aren't bringing him back. I don't mind the idea of depth tho.
  7. I think this is a change that might have a bigger effect than it would appear at first glance.
  8. After having the issue with Shaq and his shoulder, would Allen really be a safe bet? Because talent wise hes a top five pick, so if he slides down to ten, that to me says enough people are worried about his shoulder.
  9. You just called him out and no one here seems to have a pitch fork... Williams may not get the heat as much because for every missed tackle there are a handful more important plays that will go just as unnoticed. Sure, the guy is older and injury prone. However, he's not one to rest totally on his laurels. The guy still brings it every week. That being said, I have often strongly considered drafting another stud DT and move kyle to more of a rotational guy understanding his physical limitations at this point in his career. We are too high for a guy like Brantley or McDowell. However, if we came into the second and scooped Adams or Jones from ND...
  10. It absolutely does when your tunnel vision is so bad that you feel it would prevent you from drafting your guy. I mean heck, just read something I thought was interesting coming out about the 49ers... Stating you think they brought in Shanny to work with Hoyer and Barkley?!? Raised a few eye brows. I mean, you would assume since they brought them in, no chance they draft someone, or maybe they do, maybe they are back in this race from what i just read. And they signed two veterans.
  11. I don't think any of the these teams will reach. I think the Browns might grab one at 12, but that's about where I could see one going in the top half of the draft. Like I said before, to many teams that don't need a QB are trying to drum up business. Could they make that move, sure, but I don't see how you have a top ten littered with teams that need QBs and only really the Jets linked to Trubisky... Literally you could make a case for seven of the ten teams. Heck, depending on what Bengals fan ya talk to, eight teams that could justify takING a QB. Yet, like I said, really only the jets are linked to taking a QB.
  12. If you want to go down that road, you pointed out two guys. And one you are convinced Bills fans would hate because he had a hot tub in his dorm room?
  13. At what point did mention them potential picks for the Bills? Instead I pointed out the chargers would be more inclined to look at those options as oppose to taking a QB this year. Did you really post a story about Rosen having a hot tub in his dorm room? Is that supposed to be a detractor?
  14. There is one thing I absolutely think gets cleaned up with McDermott... the awful delay of games and look of utter confusion from just about everyone. So many times we saw guys looking like they were still trying to figure out their assignments as the ball was snapped.
  15. Being from long Island I have friends who are die hard Giants fans. Ya know, one of those teams mentioned in drafting a QB to groom. Yes, someone of them wouldnt be totally against it, but these organizations were in the playoffs last year in Pitt and NY. Most of their fans don't envision them so desperate they will not take the BPA,and take a QB from this class. Chargers, let's be honest, they will be picking top ten again and a shot at Darnold, Rosen, Falk, Allen, RuDolph seems a lot more interesting. The Cards have a lot of needs and yes a QB might make the most sense and they have been linked to them hard, however, who is to say they aren't trying to get another player to fall down the board? I mean there are enough people who will tell you Buddy Nix tricked the league with telling everyone he thought Glenn was a guard, only to take him in the second and make him the LT. To me there is more teams that don't need a QB trying to talk up this class than teams who really do need one.
  16. I absolutely hate Tyrod, but the majority of outsiders all said moving on from tyrod would be a mistake. So, I don't know what none bills fans you were talking about, but ranging from there is nothin better out there to the guy needs healthy weapons, people made a lot of excuses as to why he should STAY. As far as a panic move? I don't think you understand what panic move means. They brought back the best option available at a reduced rate. If anything Taylor's camp paniced and blinked first. That being said, and believe me, I have been in your shoes and was desperate for a QB. I have done this is multiple QBs over the years. I was always the first one who was sick and tired of waiting for the next best class to come along. However, in the same respect I have learned just because there is one guy you really covet doesn't mean that they are worth it, or that the class is instantly worth it. Grasp at whatever straws you want at need. It's all part of this process. However, stop creating false narratives
  17. Not to many WRS worked out in the first recently if you remove the absurd 2014 class.
  18. Playing in an Air Raid had nothing to do with with the defense. Mahomes was in an offense designed to throw the ball that often.
  19. I kind of feel like you are just looking for shock value
  20. Are there any people out there arguing he's not at this point?
  21. I love his skill set, depending on how we come out of the first, I would love to grab him in the second. Can't see him lasting to the third.
  22. So, no QB in the history of the league has had a good career with an average arm?!?!
  23. Everyone saw the writing on the wall for Rex. Give me a break with La Canfora breaking that. However, there is something to be said that the owner did address the rumour.
  24. Sorry, but stating that as fact and not opinion... There is no way to tell if they are right or wrong and won't be for a couple years. Furthermore, they aren't the only ones who are cautious about the class of QBs this year. No one is saying there isn't talent, but just because YOU like those guys better doesn't mean they are.
  25. I'm curious as to when arm strength became more important than accuracy, touch, timing, anticipation, etc... We have had a few QBs who have come through with arms and that was about it. Yes, you need to be able to push the ball down field, but you don't need an absolute cannon to be successful in the nfl
