  1. Which is absolutely awesome. I used to he as heavily involved, but between being married and having children my time is spread so much more thing and less allocated to the draft. That and I found my self letting bias get in the way. But believe me I am very involved in the draft and the process, but I learned on BBMB, even the best of information or systems can feel pointless at times. So I got to the point where I shared my opinion more with friends and stuff like that while hanging out and such. Well now, how you feel about Harris being said to be shooting up boards and possibly not making it out of the top 15? I think blokes and my self have hashed it out... Believe me that was far from guns blazing, it was a non serious comment about how in depth he takes this. I understand his following around here, but like I said, I think we got a handle on this.
  2. Well, you graduated a lot of players, and in fairness, might be a different looking team with Ekblad and McDavid/Eichel.
  3. I don't know, let's keep it fun and lite... My take is, mcdermott got rid of the freaking pool tables, the guy wants these players focused. Kelly would be a massive distraction. Again just my take.
  4. Weren't yoi Blokesandhoes or something along those lines back on BBMB?!?! We are both fans of a teams trying to get out of the basement, I understand tempers run hot. I apologize and as a matter of fact I'll look closer at your material for reference knowing a bit of your background. I need all the info I can get my hands on. Now, thay being said, having been on these boards as much as you have and having put in the work you have... is it not fair to say there are plenty of fonies and people who really don't know much other than media rankings?
  5. I had the Saints going with one of the OSU corners. However, I feel like Conley might drop with these ALLEGATIONS against him. Now I have Harris out of Mizzu. I think Barnett could end up going as high as four to the Jags.
  6. Ironically Tebow was probably one of, if not the best college player for my money. Watson, strikes me as the same type of enigma at the college level. However, there is no denying that from day one people knew Tebow was an awful passer who needed dramatic improvement. There are few that will question Watson ability to sling the ball anywhere on the field. Unfortunately the kid has to learn to protect the ball better, but I think it's easy to say Watson is lights years better of a QB spec than Tebow.
  7. Hey, free speech, do you. I am not saying you aren't entitled to pop off at any given time. Doesn't bother me one bit. Clearly you were offended, I didn't think for a second that would be interupted to that extent. I say absurd stuff all the time, I figured most would remember me from BBMB. Member there since back in '04 (BillsFan, no 17 on the end at BBMB) so I was pretty well known in regards to my types of posts. The draft season tends to bring out all sides of people it seems. Hell, watch this tho, I'll even apologize if I offended you. I don't need any Internet validation. I will apologize if what I said bothered you to that extent.
  8. I don't doubt it, I just am confused as to why they haven't just let him go, or demoted him to director of scouting or something. Unless, maybe they want to give McDermott the Gase treatment and basically give him a boat load of control after the draft? I just don't know why they want the input of a guy who they don't value at this juncture.
  9. Terrific, what does that have to do with coming onto a message board and acting like that? I have drunkenly interacted with various media members making far more outlandish statements and goofing off and I can't recall any of them calling me son or telling me to wind down my neck. If anything they brush it off or understand the context of the comments. I have no idea who watches film, who watches YouTube, who copy and pastes various media out lets, etc... Therefore, if my comment on a buffalo bills message board rubs you the wrong way, you can either ignore it or if you want that big time clout ON A MESSAGE BOARD... maybe you don't use terminology like wind down your neck?
  10. So if Jones doesn't pan out then what? Do we look back and say we passed on a potential franchise QB because we had a developmental type in the system? I understand whole heartedly what you are saying. I was asking my self the same question in regards to the numbers game if we take a QB. However, I have no issue what-so-ever adding competition at a position that we desperately need addressed. And Jones being on the roster in no way makes the QB position set or not a need.
  11. Talk down to me? On a message board. If you had an ounce of professionalism for someone who gets paid for their prosecution reviews... I mean, yeah, go ahead "talk down to me." I'll go ahead and wind down my neck... lmao do you buddy
  12. The point is you think I'm serious. I come on these message boards for fun and because I live in NC and need somewhere to talk bills. More often than not we run into the Internet tough guys who feel the need to protect their opinion as if it's their first born. However, I find it hard to take someone serious when they call me "son" and tell me to wind down my neck...
  13. Believe me, I think next year's class is better. However, I have also seen guys pumped up before the season, only to fall off. Heck, everyone's favorite Kelly, Chad was rated fairly highly before the process and for various reasons has fallen. Guys like Jacob Snead, Andre Woodson, Matt Barkley, etc... all guys people were uber high on early but fell off for various reasons. Hard to always want to wait, between guys declaring, injuries, bad tape, etc... a lot can change between now and then. I think Darnold is the only player who will maintaim top QB status come hell or high water.
  14. I feel like more and more, every year, every prospect is so-and-so 2.0 Often more baseless than not.
  15. Teams have removed him from their draft boards all together because of his medical history. And just out of curiosity, how exactly is Corey Davis, a top tier WR prospect the same as Devin Thomas?
  16. The Jags moved on from Gabbert to Bortles pretty quickly... Any position you end up drafting that's busts hurts your franchise. Because in hindsight, after the fact, you go back and look at who you missed out on after your pick. Who could have possibly came in and helped. I mean, we traded up to get Graham in the third, which I know a third rounder really can't bust, but missing on him instead of taking Russell Wilson... Ideally everyone would rather hit on every pick, but I'd rather take a shot at the single most important position than to end up with an All Pro LB on a 8-8 team.
  17. Reddick isn't a WR, he's an Edge/LB. I think mine would be any of these o linemen or corners in the first.
  18. There are certain media members who have admitted that team's like these QBs better than the media. Humbling take for some of those guys to admit, but fact is, smokescreens aside there is going to be at least three QBS taken in the first. I mocked four. None to the Bills, mainly because I just have a feeling in my gut.
  19. We have had top defenses in the past, we have had the top rushing attack, we have seen 7th rounders become three time 1,000 yard WRs and cult heroes like Freddy Jackson become one of the better runners in the league, etc... Yet, despite having all that, we never had a QB who could put us over the top. I have been against QB for awhile because I don't believe any are worth going that high, however, I don't agree with others reasoning for passing. If the Bills feel the talent is there, if rather them take an opportunity.
  20. Yet Taco literally had the same production this past season as Garrett. Barnett broke records held by Reggie White and has a smiling body of work in terms of production and disruption in the back field. Charles Harris has been an absolute best in the backfield the past two years. I'm not to sure you watch much college football or if you regurgitate the media rankings.
  21. Need to focus more what's done on the field than off the field.
  22. I understand the line of thinking because we traded an additional first while swapping first round picks with the Browns. However, that isn't the same as taking WR year after year. Especially considering we lost a former second rounder to a handsome payday from the Rams. Pointing out Sammy injury history lends it self even more towards possibly needing another legit passing option. Not for nothing, surrounding your team with BPA will always workout more than drafting for need, especially when you can have multiple of that position on the field at once. That's why it would be justified taking another edge despite taking Shaq last year. You have multiple fronts we can utilize and you can never have enough guys getting after the QB. More or less, you have to take BPA.
  23. In a day in age where teams are spreading the ball all over the field with spread formations- you think adding another elite weapon would be a failure? I mean off the top of my head, Boldin- Still drafted Fitz Jackson- Still drafted Maclin White- Still drafted Julio Harrison- Still drafted Wayne I mean, let's not act like we would be the first team to add a first round WR whIle having a top flight guy already at the position.
