  1. I would much rather this draft lol. That being said, I did read somewhere that Rosen really does have a lot to prove. Otherwise he could end up a lot like Hackenberg. Super hyped up early and flamed out towards the end. Either way, I dont envision McDermott being timid. If the Bills are in a position to get a QB they absolutely will. Even if they have to trade up. Also, I have been trying to maintain to folks, don't have to get the first QB in the rankings. Would love to, but if the class is as deep as I suspect...
  2. Lmao, what the... are people comparing White to McKelvin. White is a technician at the highest level of college ball and McKelvin was just an insane athlete but not much between the ears in the Sun Belt conference.
  3. See that's the thing, people have to understand this is a true rebuilding process at this point. What people saw as us spinning our wheels by letting guys walk and drafting their replacements, I saw as mcdermott identifying those players are not being good enough and replacing them with better ones. If we have a good season this year, awesome, but if not, we have two first rounders in what appears to be a strong draft class. Especially at QB. As I have stated in other threads Darnold Allen Rosen Falk Rudolph Jackson among others. Especially the guy we all don't know about now, who will shoot up draft boards come the off season. Now again, I'll be the first to say, a lot can change from now until next draft, but I absolutely like that list more than this past years. I like that list better than any class dating back to 2004.
  4. This draft was loaded at RB and we did not select one. Leads me to believe they are okay with the current depth chart at the position, or could be looking towards cuts that may come down. Don't forget MG was found on the waiver wire by buffalo. Not like we can't do it again.
  5. Beane is being linked to Buffalo because of McDermott and their relationship. They have been linked before Whaley was fired. Furthermore, might be only if the only ones okay taking the position with the power that mcdermott seems to have.
  6. Most likely will end up in Denver.
  7. Post dragt grades are fun, but are strictly furthering the entertainment. We all know the cliche of it takes years to evaluate a class. However, that being said, McDermott and the Bills came into the draft with one of the teams with the least amount of picks. Yet, McDermott turned that into a highly regarded draft and a first rounder next year.
  8. While I do think Brandon needs to go, despite being hired in 1997, he's only really had any input from 2006 on, if that... If they have him stepping off big time and not factoring into player decisions, which, if you ask me mcdermott is clearly calling the shots, than it is what it is. If McDermott ran our draft and has been having full say over the roster thus far, what difference does it make about Brandon?
  9. Usually they do, I mean I can't think of a denial recently other than Quinn not allowing Shanny to take staff with him to San Fran.
  10. It's literally absurd to think we would even need to go to the extent of stealing their draft.- Guy worked in the orginzation for how long? Knowing their overall philosophy. - Working for them this past season, had to know what the teams scouts were looking at. - Not very surprised that mcdermott and his former employer had the same vision on certain players. - If Beane is in fact caught giving us information the man's career would be absolutely demolished in a matter of minutes.
  11. I'm a huge Watson supporter, however, this is not the class to be clamoring for. I would much rather the two first rounders in a draft that could feature Darnold Allen Rosen Falk Rudolph Jackson, etc...
  12. I'm almost positive they can decline to allow us to interview him.
  13. Yet, during that ineptitude a lot of people remained regardless. At the very least mcdermott started to clean out the gutters so to speak. There finally seems like their is a process in place and not just place holders to get us through the process.
  14. I think it's going to be Beane, not my first choice, but not bad either.
  15. How many draft picks are still on this roster over the past seven to ten years?
  16. I am not sure, so please, correct me if I am wrong. But the Bills have drafted corners as high as 27th overall and 51st overall in the last three drafts, no? We have other guys like Seymour on the roster and we are complaining about them bringing in a vet who may or may not make the roster?
  17. Works for me, put us in a position to get one of the elite QBs coming out.
  18. You can have a thousand and one people show me how they calculate their metrics and blah blah blah. I don't need a pencil pusher to tell me Tyrod is not a good QB. Tyrod wasn't a good QB in college, wasn't a good QB in Baltimore and hasn't been a good QB here. A heck of an athlete, sure, I'll never deny that, but the guy is not an NFL level QB.
  19. From what I looks like, most people are picking the kid apart. We go from never drafting a QB, to letting the draft come to us, work it in a way that sets us up to get a QB next year, while taking a developmental type and yet still conplants rain down. We have two quality ceiling development types on the roster, a half way average starter and a backup who offers more stability at the backup position than we hAve had in years. I still am shocked at how many people have an issue with Peterman and the pick.
  20. Ultimately, I think Taylor is going to be the starter. I don't think McDermott pulled to keep him if he wasn't going to be their starter, baring some sort of weird circumstance. I do think that the backup position is more up for grabs than most people think. If everyone stays healthy, no reason to believe there aren't enough pass catchers for these guys to succeed.
  21. This has nothing to do with being the smartest man in the room and everything to do with seeing what everyone else has seen for years. Mcdermott was assertive in changing the narrative here, wouldn't call that trying to be the smartest man in the room. Especially considering the no playoffs in 17 years and being a team with one of the least amount of draft picks actually on the roster...
