  1. I thought the same thing, it's entirely possible Beane wanted both.
  2. There was no defense of the other persons stance, but just pointing out that Reid plays the victim card, and lies. Which have been pointed out, and to act like everyone has this underlying reason to go after Reid is expanding on victimhood. The guy has made him self look bad by lying to get social justice credit at a time when that's the last thing we need. If nothing else, people like Reid and to a further extent Michael Bennett make things far worse than they do help them progress.
  3. Just curious, are we sure the Bills didnt look into him? They did bring back Gaines a few days after Desir signed with the Jets. Its possible we looked into Desir and maybe he saw a better path to start with the Jets, or they offered more money...
  4. Some lesser known backs to consider, Darrynton Evans from App State James Robinson Illinois State
  5. Where in my post did I say he shouldn't play in the league? What am I being dishonest about? I pointed out an example of a time he tried to gain social justice points by blatantly being dishonest. You want to prop up those who want to be professional victims, have a day, but in this scenario, I'm the last one here that has to "man up." Moreover, please, elaborate on what "manning up" truly is. Go ahead. Waste more of my time.
  6. https://www.google.com/amp/s/nypost.com/2019/01/09/investigation-basically-calls-eric-reid-liar-over-drug-test-complaint/amp/ He is a fake, cry wolf, wanna be social justice warrior. The dude is a clown.
  7. The Bills will address needs, but maybe not with some of the names we all want/like/are familiar with... some will be mad/bummed/optimistic. And in spite of that Beane will land minimum two starters.
  8. That's the riskiest thing hes done in his career. T Mobile, get after it!
  9. I really like that mock, but in a historical draft class, I really hope Bowden isnt the WR we come away with. This is not a knock on Bowden as much as I'd hope we wouldnt be the only WR if we do end up taking him. Strikes me as more of a gadget guy than a true WR.
  10. What about that seems confrontational? Moreover, again with the cutie comment, to a grown man.
  11. It's simple his style of play didnt warrant the payday.
  12. Why are you telling me to relax? Do you feel like the situation is getting out of hand? I dont get it. Moreover, do you often call the behavior of grown men cute?
  13. Yet, you found the strength and courage to post on a message board.
  14. I would take Mims!
  15. So, with zero idea how this pandemic is trending, you think it's a safer bet that it starts on time?
  16. I absolutely agree, they need to be more innovative. However, if these were the procedures from the start of the process, I think it would have been far less of an issue. There is a lot that's uprooted and I dont think it's just as simple as some are making it out to be. There is also a contingency of kids that weren't at the combine, and some that couldnt test at the combine that pro days and visits could have helped clean up any unchecked boxes. Im in no way saying things can't be done via the wealth of technology, but the hurdle isnt the technology. It's trying to scramble and find ways to get this done.
  17. Perine I think is undervalued by the media, and will be on of the higher backs selected. Not saying overly high, but I think we could see him snagged up in the late third, early fourth. Sneaky good RB.
  18. No one is saying it's not doable, I think the argument is made around how the logistics of all that is going to work. Especially right now with the medical field already so overwhelmed. Ontop of being able to coordinate getting everyone synced up. I am just spit ballin, not saying any of that is truly the case. However, its been common practice for teams to have their own medicals especially on players who had question marks around the combine. So its hyperbolic to think GMs/coaches could lose their jobs over bad drafts. Its hyperbolic to think that these kids stand to make or lose money based on where they are drafted. I mean, I surely I cant absolutely prove those things to be without a doubt true. In turn, you are right its entirely hyperbolic of me. Moreover, if we really want to compare the NFL draft to situations made split second decisions... really not much of a correlation in context, but sure. You tell me it's two/three year process, but then compare it to making split second decisions... gotcha.
  19. Outstanding, couldn't be happier for ya. These arent attacks. This was simply an exercise in someone posting information, standing by that information, and others acting like they knew more than everyone else. GMs and coaches has proposed moving the draft back. Yet, the arm chair GMs think that the disruption world wide doesnt effect the NFL. That these men should have had all their ducks in a row by now. Who to listen to... hmmmm
  20. I'm very very upset that a bunch of people who I will never meet, never actually interact with outside of those message board parade around with this sense of intellectual superiority. I'll be honest with, it's going to trouble me the rest of the day. Back to the big boy discussion Seems like coaches are following suit with asking for the draft to be postponed.
  21. When I came into this thread to get some information on what happened, it was this very post that really helped. A true hero! Unwieldy? It's a message board, and it's not like these are span threads.
  22. I think I'm taking the information being given and making an assessment based on that information. Much like these GMs would like to do. This isnt just reading twitter, wtf is going on right now? These are legit NFL media, GMs, and so on. Not every one of these front offices has the same staff, over the course of the time frame you are using. Not every team has the same coaches during that time frame. There is so much more that you are blatantly ignoring. No one is saying they are cramping it into the final two months, what they are saying is there is logistics and information they still need to piece together. This isnt a school project, these arent teenagers hoping for an extension. These are people with very real decisions to make. Peoples livelihoods are in the balance. Quantifying those decisions as being something so simple, and that the proposed issues should all be ignored because you think they are lying. We don't have any real idea what these teams are doing in these final months leading up to the draft. Not a single one of us know. In turn if a unanimous recommendation is made to push it back and get everything right, I'll take that over a message board poster telling me they should all have it done by now. Moreover, the fact that the term armchair GM triggered you...
  23. Our second rounder is theoretically our first pick in the draft. If we take Weaver in the second that will be using our first pick in the class (barring any trades)on an edge.
