Full work load for Watkins is absolutely a positive. However, nothing wrong with letting him ease his was through the pre season. We know what the kid can do when healthy.

The funny thing is, no one else really seems to call out the fact that Sammy has to make absurd grab after absurd grab. We all oh and ah about how nice the catch was, but literally in skell watkins has to make unreal grabs.

Is a 43 DE asked to do the same thing as a 34 DE? Furthermore, is everyone else wrong when they said he'll be transitioning to his more natural position at 43 DE... or?!?

Well this is just false

This is the guys seventh year in the league and does have familiarity with Dennison. If the offense is just so complex it's causing him to struggle early on... Make excuses all you want but the way Buffalo handled his contract this off season proves us fans aren't the only ones who aren't sold.

What defense did he play in? What position was he asked to play?

Why are so many people looking into who lines up where? Brand new coaching staff, they are going to want to get as many looks as possible. It's healthy to rotate guys to different roles and different amount of reps.

Really wonder how many other top tier QBS are still struggling at this point in their careers at TC. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it takes guys sometime to get their groove back, but the guy has been in the league since 2011. Furthermore, all I hear about is how familiar TT is wirh Dennison from their days in Baltimore. Gets to a point where you realize it's just not going to fully click.

Or maybe it's easier to hold blocks when you are forming a pocket and don't have a guy who runs around behind you, or ya know can read a defense and get the ball out quickly and decisively.

I don't know if you have been watching Falk at all because for starters he doesn't have that big of an arm and he's actually very comfortable and smooth in Leach's offense. So, I don't get the clumsy and lack of awareness in the pocket.

So missing the amount of time he did as a rookie, playing in an unispiried locker room who clearly tuned their coaches out, and you fully expected him to come in and rip it up. Explain to me how Rex and Co. set him up for success... Every player we saw flourish saw some pretty drastic decline in production and ability to execute, we all attribute that to Rex... But yes, Lawson was supposed to be able to rise above all that. Terrific expectations.

Possible these guys just don't want to go through camp at these points in their careers. They know the offers are there, but aren't in any rush to sign.

Willing to bet any amount of money there are people who will say he only did good in a contract year. That you can't go by this season and will no want to give him a big payday. That being said, I think if Sammy blows the top off and has a monster year, you work on a higher paying deal with incentives and some term... if not franchise tag him and make him do it again for a second year.

Yet, despite some of the high octane offenses we have had in our history not a single other pass catcher ever did that for us. I don't know many teams that would say we can't win wth a guy who produces the way Stevie J did on those teams. Yes, there were mistakes made, and some plays that really cost us, but in the same light, we also wouldn't have been remotely as decent without Stevie J.

There is a reason why a lot of people loved the White pick. The only bashing was the whole we let one corner walk only to draft another, but talent wise Tre is going to be legit.
