  1. Exactly why are we paying a middle tier DT FA to ten million per?
  2. Awful value from the Bills end.
  3. So Keenum put that team on his shoulders and won all those games by him self, interesting take.
  4. We get ran on religiously at times last year, the Bills sign a NT who can help remedy this and people are taking issue? GTFO. People complain that we can be moving up for a QB we have too many holes. We start addressing the holes via FA and people are taking issue? GTFO
  5. Lol so Star signs and Kyle signs back on... Also watching the Bills be aggressive in moving up, which will ultimately be for a QB, all the while having a crazy amount of cap space next off season. Maybe you look for another place to post
  6. I'd think so, Bradford is one FA QB who can be seen as a legit starter. So the things I take into account Everyone see the Bills moving up and knows they are most likely moving up again for a QB... If you are a FA QB you aren't signing with Buffalo with the impression you are the long term solution. Therefore, if you are Bradford why sign with Buffalo if you don't think you are in that stage of your career? Because the Bills all but tell you the rookie won't push for playing time in year one and maybe not even in year two. The only QB that would give that kind of assurance would be Allen as he's the least pro ready. For me, if we are going after Darnold or Rosen, you go for a Moore or Anderson or Daniels or McCown. Guys who can start in a pinch but are more mentor/vet savvy backups.
  7. Believe me I don't want Allen at all and would really put a sour taste in my mouth with how this front office has worked, would be very farfetched to see them take Allen.
  8. Without a doubt it would. I have zero issue with Bradford signing, just makes me feel like it would give the brass a year or two to sit on Allen and let him develop. Moore or Anderson or Daniels is more a QB that says we plan on getting our real starter via draft.
  9. Well do it slow, it's called asset management. The Bills had no desire to keep Tyrod and in turn received and ASSET for him. This isn't moving on from Tyrod and bringing in just anyone. It was about acquiring an asset for him.
  10. For a single season on a stacked team?? Moreover, describe better? Less yards, less TDs, less talent, etc...
  11. Wow, that's going to put a new spin on Allen being the target.
  12. The fact that the figures haven't been released leads me to believe the deal will most likely favor the Bills.
  13. I find that hard to believe, Keenum didn't get a big deal, and isn't really someone you hedge your bets on. Cousins was the only QB that would preclude a team from taking a QB.
  14. Exactly, I really don't envision a team being that stupid. Although the Brown's might be, but I don't see any of these teams taking that big of a project that highly. I mean Lamar Jackson at least has absurd athletic ability to cover for his inaccuracy at times. Yet, he's not discussed as a top spec? The Allen love fest is not legit.
  15. If Buffalo signs Bradford, maybe they take Allen with the idea he'll sit and learn behind Sam. However, if they sign a pure backup like a Moore or Daniels, they aren't going to take someone whom isn't a day one starter. For me there is zero possibility we make these moves for anything less than a more polished player than Allen.
  16. Bills aren't trading up to 12 to not get one of the top picks. Unless they have someone interchangeable like the Eagles did with their choice. They apparently were okay with Goff or Wentz. If Darnold and say Rosen or Allen go first and second. Either by the teams originally drafting there or via trade, are the Bills going to be okay taking not their #1 guy? Meaning, Buffalo has to get to #2 at the very least. Three or four are too big of a risk.
  17. He said bills are going up for Rosen but keep an eye on Allen as a possibility. The pinned tweet in question is a guess on his part Allbright tweet
  18. The irony of potentially having a first round QB, and the possibility of said first round QB losing the job to an over hyped backup... Feel like we have done this before...
  19. Where do I sign up for that?
  20. So we are assuming the price would empty the cubbard? You do remember the Chiefs jumped from 27 to 10 last year and didn't lose all their draft capital. Again, the Eagles moved up with the Phins THEN moved up to #2. Beane/McDermott have been crafty in acquiring the ammo to do anything they need to in the draft.
  21. Absolutely fantastic.
  22. So the Eagles made a trade with the Dolphins in order to move up higher, which would be easier to secure the #2 overall. Yet, here it's absurd to imagine Buffalo trades up into the top ten without knowing who will be there... Ever cross anyone's mind that Buffalo wants to get the 2nd or 3rd but know those teams may not want to drop all the way to the 20s. Hence, get into the top ten and you are a lot easier to do business with.
  23. On the flip side, if someone wants to trade back into the first, and offers us a nice package for one of our first rounders Beane isn't going to take it? I can see Beane being more focused on what he can control oppose to focusing on coulda/shoulda/woulda.
  24. Nothing wrong with this, just have to add some more athletic linemen up front and hope Daboll can play call for the kid.
  25. Yeah, I'm taking Allbright's word on this one over these two guys.
