  1. Now McShay hearing some buzz about Buffalo potentially getting that second overall.
  2. Absolutely love this kid, wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him go well before the 20s roll around.
  3. Absolutely, especially since the Giants would absolutely pounce if Darnold was there at two. Darnold needs to go first overall and then I think things can get rolling, but it's hard for Buffalo, because to have to wait until the Browns make their pick to make the trade into the top ten, then all the way up to two.
  4. Because he is a head case and recently just had a video come out with very suspicious white lines of powder...
  5. As much as I have wanted Rosen since we traded up to 12th, the more I look into Baker (whom I was perfectly okay with before hand) the more I get the sense the kid could be the second QB off the board.
  6. Get this strange feeling if Lamar or to a further extent Rudolph start to get into the late teens and are available, BB will trade up for one. There is no way the guy isn't still sour grapes about trading Garopp, he'll remedy that with this draft. No LT prospect worth trading up for.
  7. No, there really isn't a huge chance they miss on their guy. Especially since we all have no idea how their draft board is laid out. If they have it Allen, Darnold, Mayfield, Rosen. If the browns take Darnold, they will still have a top notch shot at three to get Allen. End of the day picking third right now is vastly better than sitting at 12.
  8. Why would the Giants want an oft injured Gronk when they just spent a first rounder on Engram last year?
  9. In starting to feel like there is too much smoke around buffalo and the NYG trading for something not to happen.
  10. Don't ever discount what the Pat's could do if need be. How on this green earth do they get what they got for Cooks? I mean how do they pull off half of what they do? Believe me if the Pat's want to move up they will find a way.
  11. You don't have a source, moreover its convenient that the speculation that NE could target OBJ happens then you post about a source saying the Pats want OBJ.
  12. Is there actual confirmation it was Buffalo who tried to get the 7th? Or just conjecture based on a tweet from an unverified source?
  13. To be fair we have seen the trend go more in favor of Allen types. Gabbert is a perfect example, as is Losman. Hell Losman never completed more than 60% of his passes at Tulane when throwing for more than 50 attempts, but he could launch the ball like nobody's business. People always fall in love with the big arm and the measurables to go along with it. If anything Allen failing will be more "I told you so" and his success will be more, well, see we can get one of these right every once and awhile. Either way, seeing people continue to blame the talent around him for his failure. Seems similar to the argument I had about Watson having too much of a supporting cast and being on such a powerhouse that he wont have that in the NFL to mask his weak arm.
  14. If the Bill's get into the top ten, their next move better be up to number two, which might just be impossible if the Browns take Allen because then the Giants will absolutely take Darnold at two. I really don't see why we would need to make a trade to seven only to then go up to five.
  15. not sure if this was already posted here yet, but...
  16. None, its the Bills in the NFL, Islanders in the NHL, and Yankees in the MLB.
  17. UCLA ranks 21st and Alabama 110th. Don't ever use a wonderlic as a measuring stick for an entire university.
  18. If there was a cant miss, with the teams at the top of the draft as is, who would pass on them? If all four were Andrew Luck level prospects, how would Buffalo even have a shot?
  19. The context of the thread is about Buffalo trading up to the second overall pick with the Giants. From here on out ill preface every post with what the original topic of discussion was.
  20. That's the thing, what's the price we are paying to move up? Because we gave up assets to get what was considered the best WR once upon a time and it failed. Fore me, you don't give up assets unless you are going after a QB.
  21. Folks, why do we go through this religiously?!?! If these kids were true cant miss prospects, in the construct of this draft, there would be zero shot we could be in play for ANY of the top four. They all are going to have question marks, they are all going to have some element that's going to be picked apart to no end leading up to the draft.
  22. Unless you are the Eagles and you traded to eight and then up to second overall. If the draft rolls around and you have to make two trades, you are already in trouble. The picks are timed and you only have certain amount of time with potential more challengers to move up. If Buffalo wants that second overall they need to move up now or before draft night. Its that simple. If they don't covet the second overall, which all indications have pointed to then wanting that pick and the Giants being willing to move, then yeah, they don't have to move up now.
  23. What I find funny is 1) Mora admitted teams arent calling him directly to find out about Rosen. That more or less tells me no one values the man's opinion. Especially on a player he was hands on with. 2) Who the .... would find it bad that a young mind wants/needs to be challenged to excellence. That's a positive not a negative.
  24. Without a doubt, however they have also sent out mixed messages on how competitive they expect their team to be this season.
