  1. I'd be shocked if both Giants and Jets pass on Darnold.
  2. Idc, they absolutely need to get into the top ten, end of story. Especially if they infact want to then trade up last minute. Easier to get to one or two if you are already in the top ten.
  3. I'd think Denver might be one of them and that's why they are willing to move out... I sure as heck hope, having grown up on Long Island got 27 years, my Giants fans friends would never let me live it down if they snagged Rosen.
  4. Darnold and Rosen off the board, I say no. I like Baket a heck of a lot and I actually think his demeanor would work in Buffalo. However, hes not the QB I trade up for with that much capital going the other way.
  5. Believe me, I know what you are driving at. If they really only want Darnold or Mayfield and they are both gone, then you are sitting at five feeling like you missed out and now are stuck... However, this class is vastly different as each QB has their own traits that make them a blue chip. For me it would be hard to discount any particular one as a choice barring their personality and character.
  6. Then you still get one of the big four at pick number five. The bills didn't put their hair in a ponytail to go home alone. They moved to up 12 for a reason, they have been heavily discussed in moving up. If you get locked out at five there is, again as aforementioned you'll still get one of the big four. I understand the ideology behind the fear of getting stuck at five, however, much like the Jets trading to three above us, you cant continuously allow teams to leapfrog you and shut you out. Moreover, if the Giants do pass on a QB, as the other poster described above, the Denver 5th overall pricetag then skyrockets. The Giants also stand to reason that at five they can still get one of Chubb, or Barkley, or Nelson, or heck, maybe the QB that trickles down could be the guy they want and snatch him up. Either way two to five is not a bad move for the giants by any stretch. You need to be ahead of the game here. Go get the fifth overall.
  7. Go get it, no excuses, go get it. Then if you want to jump to two, do it.
  8. Gettleman is the worst poker player. Its Darnold or Barkley... possible if blown away hell trade, but highly unlikely its out of the top ten.
  9. Look up the definition of hyperbole. I dont need help writing material as much as you do understanding what exaggeration is.
  10. Hyperbole doesnt fly with you. Understood moving forward.
  11. Believe me, I'm all for going with a youth movement. However, Shady means more to this team and this locker room... it's been well stated that Shady has really matured here as a player and a teammate. The salary cap is more worrisome for fans than front offices, I am not overly worried about what Shady is getting paid.
  12. The dolphins change their uniform as much as they change the sponsor of their stadium
  13. Said shady was worth a 3rd or a 4th rounder. Hence why I said I wouldn't move him for that
  14. Did either one of you bother to read what I was originally responding to and what the poster values Shady at?
  15. You dont trade Shady. If that's where his value is, better off keeping him. Especially since hes literally the only proven weapon on this roster. As much as I like KB, dude had to prove he can he a true player at WR for us. Therefore, unless we get some sort of legit compensation for Shady. Zero reason to unload him.
  16. Funny story now the Bills are rumored to try and move up to sixth overall per NFL Network. But yeah all a big MYTH
  17. Is that why they waited as long as they did then paid him a backups contract? There were times in Cincinnati where they weren't overly thrilled with Dalton, but never pulled him for AJ...
  18. I def think they will, but I also look back at the Panthers and they only had one first round OL starting. The others were mid round to UDFA. Moton was the highest drafted O Linemen for Carolina in the second round last year, in a handful of years.
  19. Or Beane knew he was going to have to get a higher picker to potentially jump into the top ten... In trying to do so, moving Glenn helped facilitate that. Similar to the Eagles trading Kiko and Maxwell to the Phins with pick 13 to get to eight.
  20. Bodine is one of the lowest rated pivots for years. I'm actually hoping we draft a center in the second or third.
  21. I don't think you understand the word myth. Just because you have a different take on what the bills motivates might be doesnt make it a myth.
  22. My dream would be the Jets absolutely passing on a QB and taking like Nelson lol.
