The Browns are being this tight lipped because I think they want to try and trade out. I mean, keeping what QB you want a seceret this long... I mean, they could be hoping the one they want falls to four, and assume the giants and Jets will pass, but maybe a team like Buffalo would trade up and take their guy? I mean, just doesnt make sense for the Browns to play games when they own the one and four.

One outlier QB in 1990 is what you wanna hang your argument on? A QB from a vastly different generation of football. Solid move, run with that, see how far ta get. Yeah, cause I tend to talk to people with at least half a brain.

Allbright: "It's Darnold" UPDATE: He admits he was wrong

Allbright has pushed Rosen at times but he has been a hard push for Allen per his source that informed him about Peterman. -

I'm so confident in the Jets ineptitude, that whatever QB they want, probably is the worst one of the class. This is the same GM who drafted Hack' in the second. -

If darnold goes one, the Bille can wait until four or five most likely. The giants can get their gold jacket stud at two, forget their asking price, forget them all together. The Giants have been trending down outside from their one outlier playoff appearance. They want to take a RB second overall, so be it, they will ultimately be parting with gettleman a second time. -

If Bills Get to Pick #2 Overall, Who Do You Take?

Rosen in both situations. -
Beane cost us the 3rd overall pick. JMO

Two firsts doesnt automatically have intrinsic value. The value of pick 22 is exactly what the trade partner values that pick st. They arent going to base it on some value chart, they are going to base it what tier of prospect will potentially be there. Plus, again, dropping out of the top ten initially isnt as attractive as staying in the top ten. Getting what they did with the power to acquire more, you can under value you that all you want, but its exactly what is happening. -

I disagree strongly. Staying in the top ten, and getting the over payment the Colts did was a far more appealing package, because they allowed them selves to move down again!!! We could have been in the lead for the pick then the Jets gave up what they did, and the Colts knew that not only gave them assets but even more power to acquire more. This isnt on Beane, the guy has reportedly tried to move up, none of these teams are budging yet. Had Buffalo already been in the top 7-10, and lost out to the Jets, that would be worth blaming Beane then, but picking at 12 doesnt help. Especially when the entire league has made a point of saying they only believe there is X amount of top tier talent. -
So teams like the Broncos and Colts are saying they are willing to trade out... All of a sudden Rosen is going to drop because of injuries?? Josh Allen MISSED TIME THIS YEAR WITH A SHOULDER INJURY. Also has broken the same collar bone TWICE. Baker Mayfield has had concussion issues and injury history dating back to Texas Tech. Let's be honest here, either teams like the Cards, Chargers, Saints, Pats, etc... are hoping to persuade other teams to not feel like they need to trade up. Or they dont like the kids personality and are making it behind injury history.

Rosen or Darnold? Who's your pick?
BillsFan17 replied to ColdFront_USAF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am a Rosen guy but Darnold is right there with him. -
The funny part about Lamar, his ceiling to me is so much higher than anyone in this class. If someone can find a way to mold an offense around him, the kid could be the second coming of Vick. That being said, Allen who doesnt bring the same athletic ability or credentials is rated higher than Jackson. Its beyond astonishing to me.

Nowhere, its more message board nonsense. These teams are so tight lipped the major media outlets cant even put a finger on it. See nonsense

Are you serious?

I mean fore one it's the Browns... they seem to have a lot of chiefs in that front office and not enough Indians. McCloughan has been extremely vocal that Mayfield is the best in the class, and who knows how much pull he has has just an advisor type... That being said, I can understand why it would seem so peculiar, but to me more... High ceiling who you will have to wait on Or Immediate push to start and may not have as high a ceiling but plenty of potential.
