  1. Shoen- Dolphins Boyd- Cardinals Gray- Vikings Dawson- Titans And like you said Morgan cut his front office teeth with the Seahawks.
  2. So that ego will be rattled with just one more hit? Just going to pack it all in for the money and ditch the ego? I mean any other cards you wanna pull here?
  3. Then why didnt he just say eff it at UCLA while taking a beating there behind that line? Why even enter the NFL draft and put your self in that position to begin with?
  4. New ownership that doesnt turn a blind eye to ineptitude? They were bound to make some mistakes as they navigated the waters early on, sure. However, at least on the Bills side of things, they appear to have learned a bit more, and when they went with McDermott they really hit it out of the park. I mean, McDermott basically ran the show from day one. Almost felt bad for Whaley cause the guy was meddling in limbo with the writing on the wall. But McDermott basically handled Tyrod's contract, the draft, the bringing in of Beane, etc...
  5. The point is, injuries are a knock on three of the big four QBs. Moreover, broken clavicle is not to be taken litely, look at Romo as an example. And again, as far as concussions, to use that as a knock, he could go an entire career without getting another. Or the likelihood of him getting more throughout his career that we dont even know about, ala Brady style is possible as well. I mean, we act like teams don't have their doctors evaluate these kids. We watch players every year fall in the draft due to medicals. If teams were that worried, he wouldn't have went in the top ten.
  6. You dont know that for sure, moreover, Allen had broken the same collar bone twice. Also had a shoulder injury that forced him to miss time this very season. Mayfield habs concussion among other injuries dating back to Texas Tech. None of these kids were uber clean specs. They all came with some sort of flag. However, to act like we know the medicals is far fetched. Especially when we have people like Tom Brady who apparently has hidden his concussion problems.
  7. I'm sorry, but what's with the soft as baby ... apologies around here. Russ Brandon relieved of his duties for sexual misconduct, yet some want to act like the victims were worth it, because hey he saved the football team. Now, a guy who openly up and quit, who has admitted it was a mistake and we have a bunch of soft people saying we should apologize to him? G T F O
  8. Apparently, depending who you listen to, guys like Allen and Darnold played a role in trading down in 2017, to have that ammo to move up if need be in this class. The reason I was skeptical, Beane was here for the 2017 draft, plus we didnt know if these kids would declare. However, that being said, there was def a lot of interest in Allen from Buffalos stand point.
  9. I don't give a flying.... what your accomplish were/are. If you are a sexual predator, you're P O S, end of story. Having a daughter, I'll tell ya right now, I'm choosing her over the Bills. Some things are bigger than a game.
  10. This video makes me even that much more bought in with Allen, if that makes sense lol.
  11. No one in their right mind used that as an excuse. No one in a legit scouting circle ever used that excuse. If you are referring to posters on this board using that, well than that's really not a valid argument here.
  12. The guy was in the top three in sacks against, playing behind one of the top rated lines in the league last year. I dont want to hear about how he makes all these plays with his feet. Moreover, if the argument is he makes plays with his feet, then make him a WR or a RB, because he absolutely cost us games when teams openly came out and said, WE MADE TYROD BE A QB. When teams did that we saw sub 70 yard passing performances with 0TDs/2INTs in those games. Not moving the ball as a QB absolutley costs teams games.
  13. I really hope AJ takes the reins and makes it extremely difficult for Allen to win the job. There is so much, IMO that needs to be done with Allen, that you don't want Josh to revert to habits hes been trying to break with the likes of Palmer. There is also the conundrum that a seventh overall pick, should realistically be able to beat out a career backup. Terminology and grasping the playbook also shouldn't be an issue with Allen who is intelligent. Either way, like the snippet mentions Allen should be excelling the curve not elongating it.
  14. And that's one of the things I liked about Allen's Senior Bowl, despite the defenses being vanilla, some of the throws were dropped in a bucket. Also, you can hear Mayock saying that balls needed to be caught by the likes of Hamilton for instance. Allen's ball placement was on point, the WRs weren't doing him favors in certain situations.
  15. Yet the two DBs Buffalo selected had very good senior bowl weeks respectively. Teams do put emphasis on the Senior Bowl. https://twitter.com/ChrisTrapasso/status/991285538236915712?s=20
  16. I know I'm going to get one. Although I dont want to ruin the kids career before it starts. I tend to have the effect when I buy jerseys lol.
  17. This is why I love the, we "over paid" rhetoric. As fans we really dont know how teams value these kids and how teams feel they need to maneuver in order to obtain them. I am not trying to understate some of the work those in the media do. However, again, fans hinge way to much on their takes and opinions with little knowledge of how teams look at these players.
  18. Little things like that are parts that were over looked by folks like my self who was a massive anti-Allen guy leading up to the draft. Thank you for posting this! I'm coming around.
  19. 6th rounder with an incentive for it to become a 5th if he breaks 1,000 yards.
  20. I'm 2015 when Coffman was the starter, he threw the ball 241 times while Hill had 281 rushing attempts. If you factor in Allens 60 attempts, then they slightly threw the ball more. In 2016 Allen took over and Hill had 349 carries to Allens' 373 passing attempts. Gentry was also a thousand yard WR and the best target in the passing game. Even then, shows you the philosophy of Wyomings offense. They seemed to be a run heavy team regardless. In 2017, Gentry was gone as was Hill. That's taking away two big time weapons that help a QB. A top tier runner and his best passing option. Again, im not trying to make excuses here, but things need to be put into context.
  21. Go back to the red helmets, but try the red in the matte style, I think that would look pretty cool.
  22. Bingo! I mean, no excuses should be made for a seventh overall pick, but Allen lost a thousand yard plus RB and WR going into 2017-18. Mayfield replaced his losses with Marquise Brown a four star recruit http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/225451/marquise-brown CeeDee Lamb a four star recruit http://www.espn.com/college-sports/football/recruiting/player/_/id/212995/cedarian-lamb And still had Andrews, one of the top TEs in college football. But yeah, let's let the Browns brass act like Baker was playing with scrubs.
  23. Alright alright I'll be that guy, we do this absolutely every year with every UDFA... That being said, with how thin we are at the position these guys really do have a legit shot. However, McCarron, Peterman, and Allen are the three guys they have throwing to them to try and make a case for them selves. A very big uphill battle if you ask me.
  24. Its extremely unprofessional! No two ways about it, but that's what happens when people get on the defensive. Rarely can they make a stance/case for their side. Instead, it is the path of leat resistance to turn the focus on to the deficiencies of others. If they were that confident in Baker, they wouldn't need to push the other guys down in order to pump him up. It's a weak tactic from a weak organization.
