  1. I had to call that guy out for that. That was an awful piece of conjecture and way off. There is a direct quote from Beane in regards to where he views the team currently, yet there is still uncertainties?
  2. Say what you want, Beane never rests lol.
  3. I'd honestly be very surprised if Mayfield didnt win the job in pre season, ala Wilson over Flynn.
  4. I am an Islanders fan, so believe me when I tell you Sabres fans we might be one team in the league who is worse off... That aside, the NFL and NHL are better leagues when Buffalo is winning, there is zero question about that.
  5. Is Stevens going to coach us as well? Because honestly, at this point he might be one of the best bench bosses in a of major sports. As far as Holmes, I'll not only sleep, I'll hibernate on him
  6. If Buffalo wins a superbowl, sure, there is plenty of substance to make a feature out of. However, the things you are laying out, in the moment they absolutely meant a lot to Buffalo and the fans, but we havent actually won anything yet, so pump the breaks.
  7. I'm sorry, but did you use wins and losses as a metric for a QB?
  8. I read it, and it doesn't chang me opinion on him one bit. In no way, shape, or form does that make me an idiot for not liking the man's work.
  9. This is absolutely true, waiting too long could end up being more hurtful than helpful. I just feel like in this situation, Dez is best suited to wait for a situation that will best maximize his potential earnings. That being said, my wife is over here like, we just drafted Josh Allen, if that doesn't get Dez here maybe he just doesnt want to play in Buffalo. She has been an Allen supporter all along. Women, am I right?!?
  10. Yeah but a camp injury or an injury in the pre season could open some doors. That or maybe coaches arent seeing improvement from players they were counting on going into camp. There is still plenty of time before meaningful games are played. Situations could change.
  11. I'm saying you based your rationale that we crossed people off our draft board is not all that smart considering you base that on conjecture. My follow up point was Dez isnt going to see Buffalo as a chance to optimize his value. The guy wants a one year deal where he can prove him self and cash in big. Idc if Buffalo offers him a deal or not, just not the best fit for Dez. That being said, if Dez gets uber desperate there is a chance he could consider Buffalo, but he could also just wait until their is an injury in camp or pre season and cash in with a team desperate enough.
  12. Ranch all the way. That being said, ranch or BC doesnt matter to me, what matter is.. One bite everybody's knows the rules. ALLEN KNEW THE RULES, Mayfield did not.
  13. So you are basing your position on conjecture and fallacies? I highly doubt Dez comes here, but at least it's based in the fact we dont offer the guy a shot at increasing his value. Dez wants a one year prove it deal.
  14. If Beane pulls this off, especially after that crazy three team trade we executed during the draft... These rumour threads are comical. Especially ones with absolutely zero valid sources or credibility.
  15. In comparison to the other big three Allen- 649 28 games played Mayfield- 1157 at Oklahoma 40 games played Darnold- 846... 27 games played Rosen-1170... 30 games played
  16. I wonder if he took the team into consideration when he forced him self on to women and had to settle outside of court on rape allegations. Or when he decided it was a better move to ride his motorcycle WITHOUT A HELMET, and crashing the thing almost ending his career if not his life. Moreover, as touched on, the guy has publicly wavered on his own future in the league.
  17. Lol, really? Josh threw the ball 270 times and his backs combined carried for 253. That's a strong ratio when it comes to the ground game. Even in 2016 Allen had 373 passing attempts and his lead back 349 carries.
  18. Had a pretty bad episode the second we made the pick, since then I have been on the bandwagon harder than anyone else.
  19. I mean, there is a some help now along the line with Star and Phillips, but a 19th overall pick needs to be a big time playmaker, and hes beem anything but that. Hopefully McDermott can get the most out of the kid.
  20. I feel like there is a bit of fabrication with the "we didnt know who we wanted" at that point. Sure they may have needed more one on one time, but you have been scouting these kids for how long? You dont put all your eggs in a QBs basket without having a good body of information on them. One thing I remember reading during the draft process about teams working out/setting up visits with these QBs... Not so much to read into them as forgone interest in the spec, but could help the team gauge a little bit in terms of- they may already have their guy in mind and want to see if anyone in the field can do enough to change their mind.
  21. Why, why the .... are we discussing, AGAIN the opinion of someone from the Browns front office? I could give two.... about what that franchise does or how they evaluate prospects. Especially when it's not even their GM coming out with this. Moreover, the guy told you to go ask someone else and that was enough, for all you know the coach he was referred to could have given glowing reviews. I want the big shots take on players on his own roster like Gorton. Its not like this guy has hand picked QBs throughout his executive career. He was with the Packers for five years who had Rodgers. A guy Rosen has been compared to an awful lot in terms of demeanor.
  22. No, I need you to do it against a DB who was drafted into the NFL infront of coaches and scouts. You get those folks together and we can talk about how you were good in high school. Then, when we are done reminiscing Uncle Rico and how you can throw the ball over those there mountains...
