The excitement around Allen in these couple of days in really fun for me, a guy who was so against drafting the kid... I mean, I have obviously become a supporter since he is ours, but I didjr anticipate him looking this solid this early. -

So because a player was drastically overpaid that means the NFL has spoken? I'll remember that when I think about Langston Walker and Dockery. Ya know seeing as how we drastically overpaid them, but it was just the NFL speaking loudly. -
I'm not talking about college players, I'm talking about NFL players. Whataboutism isnt really my area of expertise, but I was discussing Tyrod and his deficiencies. 1) Peterman was a fifth rounder who was forced into action because Tyrod wasnt getting it done. Tyrods gunshy reluctancy to throw the ball into tight windows makes his turnover numbers look terrific, but it's the NFL you need to make NFL throws, something Tyrod seldom did. Evident by targeting Benjamin only twice in the playoffs, meanwhile Benjamin had his most targets as a Bill in the SnowBowl with PETERMAN AND WEBB at QB. Tyrod was overly conservative with the football and that's not how you win games in the NFL. I'll gladly take a couple more picks if it meant he displayed more anticipation and ability to read a defense. Turnovers are inevitable, and obviously you want to limit them, but you need to give your playmakers a chance to make plays. 2) Allen played in ten games last year and averaged five yards less a game with half the attempts 270 to Tyrods 420. Tyrod also had the likes of Benjamin, Clay, Matthews, and arguably a top five RB in the league. Allen, not so much. Allen was also considered by many a first round talent, Tyrod coming out was considered best suited for a different position and went in 6th round. Moreover, getting Tyrod didnt prevent the Browns from drafting a QB first overall. 3) What does AJ McCarron have to do with Tyrod? 4) What does Daboll have to do with Tyrod? 5) The line being worse actually stands to show that Tyrod more often than not wasted good protection because he couldnt read a defense.

Not throwing the ball for more than 70 yards in an entire football game absolutely loses your team a game. Being one of the most sacked QB in the league absolutely hurts you trying to win games. Only throwing for 14 TDs hurt your team whe the objective is to score more points than the other team

Has anyone gotten the ticket with the Amazon Firestick? I might go that route this year.

Depends, if the media tells me to watch someone else that's where I will align my allegiance. -

If both Shaq and Adolphis can take a step this year, the defense will be scary good. I mean what McDermott did with a completely overhauled secondary last year, and now adding Edmunds, Star, Murphy, Phillips, etc... there are a lot of pieces in place, so these guys can kind of rejuvenate them selves without the pressure of having to necessarily be the guys... In a sense like a poster said above it's like finding money in the washing machine or in the pocket of an old coat...

Because of offsetting language in regards to the signing bonus. And its Bosa not Boza "The impasse between Bosa and the Chargers centers around a failure to agree on offset language and Bosa’s signing bonus deferment. The current collective bargaining agreement made negotiating with rookies a bit easier for NFL teams, but offset language remains a sticking point, and it certainly is a huge factor for the Chargers in this situation." https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.sbnation.com/platform/amp/2016/8/8/12402198/joey-bosa-contract-holdout-san-diego-chargers-why

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/how-the-bills-shocked-themselves-and-landed-josh-allen-tremaine-edmunds-in-2018-nfl-draft/amp/?__twitter_impression=true The article is written by La Canfora "Last August we started flipping on the film of these guys from the previous season," Beane said. "Josh Allen at Wyoming and [Josh] Rosen from the previous year at UCLA and [Sam] Darnold and all of those guys, and getting to know Baker [Mayfield] and Mason Rudolph and Lamar [Jackson]. You're going, 'Man there are a lot of different flavors here.' It's going to be kind of, 'What do you want?'

Laugh away, you still have not shown any evidence to prove your points. I gave you a graph proving my side of the argument. Until you bring a reasonable retort, stand down/move on.

Starting Peterman was not a mistake. The mistake comes in not having a more competent backup at that given time. Peterman was selected in the fifth round for a reason, now yes, we have seen later round guys flourish sooner than expected in some instances. However, we also understand that later round guys can tend to be more project types than anything. Taylor needed to be benched, so again the mistake was not in his benching, the mistake was not having a better backup.
