Not even being a homer, just completely flabbergasted at how wrong Carter is/was in his assertions about Allen. If anything his arm strength and release will bail him out of being a little late because how fast and quick the kid can rip it.

What about the guys that get hurt in camp? Rookie, mini, and training camps have also seen players get hurt, do we eliminate them all together as well? Football is an inherently violent sport, injuries are part of the game, doesn't mean we play less, considering its an interview/audition for some who are trying to carve out a career for them selves.

The Jets will always be the Jets. They signed a competent QB in Bridgewater, who exceeded expectations, and instead of rolling with the experienced player until he fails they are going to roll with the rookie. Not saying that is entirely bad, but the Jets arent exactly a powerhouse, they would be wise to not subject Darnold to that, especially when Bridgewater has played as well as he has. Darnold saw a lot of peaks and vallies last year having due to his weapons graduating to the NFL. The Jets WR is a joke and i dont see them putting Darnold in the best position to succeed.

This is why, when folks wanted to attack me because i pointed out Star isnt good against the run i had to laugh. That aside, I admit, Star wasnt the only issue, Milano and Edmunds were equally responsible for getting gashed on the ground. During camp McDermott had dropped Milanos reps and had him with the second string for a bit. Some thought it was due to complacency, I think it's because Milano just isn't building off of last year.

Darnold, early on has looked like a more mobile Chad Pennington. Can carve you up on short to intermediate routes, and will exploit soft spots in the defense. I just dont see him gaining enough respect from defenses tho. I think Darnold has a very high ceiling, but i also could see Sam maxing out as a Pennington type.

Its the preseason, if we are making these types of judgments over tune up games... I honestly dont see a way Allen starts this seaosn regardless of how he looks in the preseason.

Honestly, the job should belong to Lawson at this point. Murphy hasnt proven a thing.

Huh? So a couple of rookies unseat a guy ten years into the league but sure Buffalo will be a prime landing spot. Davis has also been a vastly superior player than Scandrick, and is YOUNGER. Moreover, Justin Rogers hasnt played for the Bills in over five years and wasnt even that good.

I mean, how can you say it didnt have anything to do with his play, but yet younger players played well enough to oust him? I mean, he wasnt really getting paid that much. I think Davis already fills our vet prove it deal slot in the secondary.
