Possible partners if the Bills want to trade down
NastyNateSoldiers replied to simpleman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Im not sure who would be interested in trading up. What I can tell u is that the Bills at #9 will be in a great spot to make a trade. At #9 someone is gonna fall in high demand whether its Blake Bortoles, Mack, Robinson, or Watkins teams will be interested in trading up for one of those players because after there gone there's gonna be a big drop off in talent regarding those positions. So in the words of ole Buddy its takes 2 to tango. The Bills should have there dancing shoes on. -
Report: Bills WILL add a QB's coach
NastyNateSoldiers replied to The Big Cat's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The guy I would love to see as QB coach is old Chan Gailey he would be perfect. He can also help Hackett. Show these guys how to use Cj and Sj and reinstall the pistol package. I know this isn't realistic but would be a great hire.. Another option would be Kyle Shanahan he did a great job with RG3 in his first yr and the Skins ran the same type of offense as the Bills ( read option ). So there probably wouldn't be s clash of philosophies. I actually think the Skins ran the option better then the Bills did. So Kyle can add alot of knowledge to our offense. -
Definitely , but I think he already told us no. When we tried to sign him last yr. I also wouldn't mind Riley Cooper, he's only 26 entering his prime. He can be a steal for the right price. Kid got hops and can stretch the field. He's not very fast but is a great route runner. Also fits the Bills as a red zone threat.

I would love to sign Dennis Pitta & Spikes. We should also offer Britt an incentive laden contract. After that take Watkins or Evans with our first rd pk. Then grab 2guards in 2nd & 3rd rounds. 2nd rd either Cyril Richardson or Gabe Jackson. 3rd rd David Yankey from Stanford. Let Pears and Hairston battle it out for RT spot. Keep the loser for depth. U can never have enough lineman. These are some realistic possibilities that would make us instant contenders in AFC east.

No Saint there no questioning your knowledge on this board and i respect your opinions. But where wrong is that Spiller is just good on screens. I have seen him on occasion getting open deep on fly routes while playing in Chans offense. Fitz missed him on a number of passes. I do also hope we keep Spiller and if we trade him we need to get bk value. I don't think the Bills will trade him for a couple mid rd pks. The Bills should be approaching Spillers deal thinking bout it as a 2yr deal this yr Cj is only gonna coat us just under 2mil. Next season around 12mil. Over 2 seasons thats about an average of 7mil a yr. I think thats fair considering that if Cj hit the market he would no doubt get that money and even more.
-
Wasn't Trent Richardson just recently traded for a 1st, well there goes that argument. Also I understand that Cj is a bk and Harvin Wr. The point is that they are dynamic play makers at their positions. Which btw don't grow on trees. Which makes them valuable.. Also u said Spiller hasn't proven to be a good wr out the bk field. 500yds in 2012 seems like a good barometer for a receiving bk. Sproles can block?? Seriously what gms u watching. Sproles is not Warrck Dunn homie hes 180lbs soaking wet
-
Im not saying to trade him for peanuts, im saying a 1st & 3rd no less then that.. I personally would love to keep Spiller, I think he is a dynamic weapon. One of the best players in the league. The problem is that Marrone & Hackett Offense doesn't seem to fit his skill set. If Spiller played for a coach like Peyton or Chip or even Reid he would be a all pro type player.
-
Lets not forget Spiller just a season ago averaged 6yds a carry and had over 500yds receiving totaling over 1700 yds from scrimmage. Yes he had a down yr. But he still had over 1100yds offense on a bum ankle. A team I think would be a perfect fit is the Saints. Sean Peyton will find plenty of ways to use Spiller and I think that move can put there offense over the top. Spiller,Graham Sproles and Colston will be unstoppable. Sean Payton is the master of the screen pass. He will find ways to use both Spiller and Sproles together I agree with u on keeping our players but we also be smart about who we pay and who we let go. In these couple of yrs were gonna have alot of top talent up for contracts, Dareus,A Will, Hughes and Cordy. We can't keep then all

I was thinking recently about the possibility of the Bills trading Cj this off-season. Trading Cj is definitely a possibility considering he has 2yrs left on his deal in which the second yr is a team option with big escalator bonuses reaching over 10mil. The Bills most likely are not going to pay Cj over 12 million in 2015. So what do we do? Cut him after next season or trade him now? I believe the Bills will be looking to deal Spiller this off-season and the perfect comparison for his trade value is P Harvin. The Seahawks gave up a 1st and 3rd rder for an explosive play maker that was in his contract yr. Harvin is an utility player that can play Wr,Rb and return kicks. Cj is the same type of player. He can play multiple positions and lets not forget Cj was one of the all time kick return specialists in NCAA history. Basically P Harvin should be the starting point for negotiations if the Bills desire to deal Cj and if anything we should probably ask for more considering that Harvin was coming of a major injury and is considered injury prone in many people's eyes. So What do u guys think? should we trade Spiller Is this a fair comparison for his value?

Possible trade down with Cleveland
NastyNateSoldiers replied to ....lybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We should also add a bk in the 3rd round. This is a strong yr for bks. Might even have a chance at Seastrunk, Hyde or Mason with our 3rd -
Possible trade down with Cleveland
NastyNateSoldiers replied to ....lybob's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id definitely make that deal. #26 - TE Austin Seferian Jenkins #35- Og Cyril Richardson #42- Og Gabe Jackson. Free agency sign Sebastian Veeldeer and we would have best oline in Football Still got 2 3rds to add lbs and wr's Behind that oline I wouldn't be surprised to run 180 a gm -
Riley Cooper would be the best fit for us, he wont cost much 4-5 mil per. He's a big wr 6´3 215lbs and he is entering his prime. I believe Riley fits in to the value players that Wally is looking for . He would definitely be my selection

Disapointed with Marrone
NastyNateSoldiers replied to offyourocker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Couldn't of said it any better, but I guess Maroone forgot to check last season stats or rankings of our ST. I instead he wanted to bail out his friend by blaming st play on his players. Last time I checked Leodis averaged nearly 20yds a punt return in 2012.. 2013 he averaged nearly 5yds. That's a 75 percent decrease. SAME PLAYER DIFFERENT RESULTS -
I guess the problem here is that the Bills set very high expectations for Rogers coming off a season in D3 college football where he probably ran 1-2 routes tops and played against inferior opponents. There should of been more patients with DR, considering where he came from. Idk what the hell Marrone was thinking. We had the right idea but obviously the wrong approach. To qoute the great Mike Mayock this kid is like a piece of clay and needs to be molded over time. I believe he said that bout EJ when we drafted him but the same thing should of applied to the Young Unpolished DR..

I watched the entire preseason all our games, Where was these plays by Hogan? If anything Kuafman had a way better preseason then both of them and he deserved the roster spot. What I did see was DR score a nice Td on a fade route. Which btw none of our wr's have done all season. Im tired of reading bout Hogans preseason. What he had a couple of 5yd catches with no separation.. The kid made the team cause of his knowledge of the offense that's bout it
-
Why is this so difficult for u guys to understand, Rogers could of easily been put on the practice squad. His job was taken by Streeter not Hogan even though he is also garbage. The Bills should of given Rogers more time to develop, this kid was playing division 3 football the previous yr. He needed time to learn and develop. But he also showed lots of flashes during ota's and training camp. He connected on a ton of deep balls with Ej. The Bills made a big mistake not keeping.this kid

New years 3rd mock
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Buffaloed in Pa's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like your mock, but I feel like the most pressing need on this team is skill position difference makers. #1 find a team to trade bk with into 20´s draft Kelvin Benjamin - This dude is an absolute beast he has it all physically. Speed, Size 6´4 232, and he plays every bit of physical from jump balls to blocking. He needs a little polishing in his routes but that is teachable. He kind of reminds me of Larry Fitzgerald. #2 - Use our 2nd rounder and a 3rd to trade back into late first and take Austin Seferain Jenkins. ASJ is a all around TE prospect that NFL teams salivate for he has all the tools . He's cut from that Gonzalez, Gates tree of Te's with Basketball background. #3 - With the extra 2nd rounder we acquire from the first round trade I would select best guard available. There's 3 starting caliber guys Jackson, Yankey or Richardson whoever is left would be a big upgrade at LG. So that would be my plan, and if we even get 2 of these pks im doing cartwheels. -
We need to correct some wrongs I say we #1 bring back Dehaven he is an assistant ST coach in Carolina. #2 Hire Chan to be our QB / Ast Oc coach, he said he loves the Bills I think he would come back. He can install the pistol package that Cj flourished in. I also think the pistol is pefect for Ej.

Lewis to start / Manuel out
NastyNateSoldiers replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Why not? Thad is a nice 3rd string Qb that's still developing, Schuab will be a great insurance policy for Ej. Ej is hopefully our future Qb if he can stay healthy and develop over the off-season The Bills had 6 Qb's on our team over the course of the season. Hopefully we learned our lesson. Especially when it comes to Kevin Kolb. We can't depend on injury prone bk ups anymore -
Lewis to start / Manuel out
NastyNateSoldiers replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lets give EJ another yr, give him time to develop. But we definitely need to sign a veteran. Matt Schaub Mick Vick Josh McCown I prefer Schuab he's a seasoned veteran that knows how to win. If Ej flops or suffers another injury, Schaub can lead us to the playoffs. We should also keep Thad for our 3rd string QB. Schuab can be a bridge to whoever we draft in 2015. -
What are the four weakest starting players?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its simple if u had a chance at Jimmy Graham or Logan Mankins who do u take? That's easy for me im going Jimmy all day. -
Hitting on a TE in the Draft
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Boludo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I absolutely agree with the draft Te method. MOF, I think the Bills should draft 2 of them. If we can trade down and add an extra 2nd rounder. I would draft Ebron or ASJ in the 1st. Take whoever remains out of those 3 players in the 2nd round. Preferably Ebron and ASJ because those 2 would complement each other skill sets to perfection. Asj is a big physical Gronk type that can stretch the seems and jump through the roof. While Ebron is the Veron Davis type. That has excellent speed and run after catch ability. These guys are also capable blockers so that would help our running gm. Ej would no doubt in my mind flourish with these 2 players. And with our extra 2nd rounder we can draft a OG, or Lber. Its time to jump on the Tight end bandwagon. -
If you got a billboard this year
NastyNateSoldiers replied to covac23's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fire Hackett, the offense is as vanilla as Wanny mustache. If I see another draw I think I'm gonna throw up on myself. That play is horrible everyone knows where it's going. Ej is NOT a read option QB. He is a pocket passer and when the opportunity is there for him to run he can get a few yds. Ej is a Big Ben type Qb. There first seasons where very similar. Big Ben was a check down king in his first season. Hopefully Ej can take a few steps up for his second season and follow is Big Ben footsteps. I think we can all agree that is EJ's ceiling is Big Ben and his floor is Jason Campbell.
