List of NFL QB's by College Conference
NastyNateSoldiers replied to boyst's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I guess the question is now who do the Bills go after this off-season #1 Ryan Mallett #2 Matt Moore #3 Keep Orton I would prefer Mallett or Moore over Orton any day. I guess if it was up to me I'd take Moore. Moore is a polished veteren with a nice arm. He's also a fiery tough guy with balls. Yea I said it Balls. We haven't had that in a while at the QB position. MM wouldn't cost much either and is still young at 31yrs of age. If we had to sign a guy it would be him. If we can trade I wouldn't mind Foles, RG3 or Bradford if they were available. Please stay away from Jay Cutler he is horrible to costly cap wise and has zero leadership skills. -
Jason Smith was the 2nd overall pick in 2010, he never amounted to anything, Jason Peters was an undrafted free agent Te converted to Lt by the Bills and is now a borderline Hof player. There is no exact science to this, basically nothing is guaranteed. To be honest I don't think Kujo has any future in the NFL, hopefully im wrong. Last yr in the sugar bowl gm he had his lunch eaten by Erik Striker a 225lb De. Kujo gave up 3sks in that gm and multiple hurries ever since then I hated him. We should of taken Jace Amaro or the Te from Notre Dame.

The Possibly Intriguing QB Trade Market
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Bills Fan since '64's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Forget Cutler with his contract we can sign a big time player & trade fir Foles. So for the Cutler fans would u rather have him or Foles & one of the Thomas bros from Denver or Revis ? -
2nd- Draft RB Gurley or Gordon 3rd -TE Nick O´Leary Free Agency Sign TE Jermichael Finley if healthy Sign SS Will Hill Sign 2 Veteran Guards Marcus Cannon & Orlando Franklin Tag Jerry Hughes Last but not least Trade for a QB NICK FOLES OR KAP This is a very logical and realistic off season. Get er done Whaley

Could it the diagrams of the run plays, it seems like there's no separation of our lineman. More teams are running the ball successfully by using more spread looks which we don't employ whatsoever . U don't have to spend lots of money to open holes. Miami is a good example of this they signed two veteran lineman this off-season, Darren Colledge & Samson Satele. Those 2 guys are dime a dozen players and there opening holes in there run gm. Bill Lasor has done a incredible job coaching there offense. Coming up with ways to use the whole field in the run & pass gms. Coaching makes a big difference. The Bills run gm lacks spacing. There formations are all cluttered up near the LOS. I believe if they ran out of some 4wide sets like Philly or Miami the run gm would be a lot better. Last week the Bills finally started running some misdirection plays. It was working well. The problem hear fellas is this offense. No spacing no creativity no style. Just reminds me of 80's football. The Wr´s always seem to be lining up in the same places instead of moving Watkins around getting him away from the #1 cb on the other team. They seem content with making things easier on themselves and with that comes making life easier on the opposition.. Case Closed. The Verdict is guilty of Garbage Coaching on Offense with a Garbage Qb.

I got 2 one for offense & defense. I would love to sign either one. Defense- Revis Island, this signing kills 2 birds with one stone. Revis would make our defense legendary status, Pure shutdown. With Revis & Return of Kiko this D would be scary good. All while hurting the Pats D by stealing there best player. Offense- Julius Thomas, Julius is still very young and would stretch the middle seems and create havoc in the red zone. This signing along with a trade for a QB like Nick Foles would instantly make the Bills offense a 25pt per gm offense. Value free agents I would love to see in a Bills Uni Jermichael Finley- If he's cleared by doctors he can be a steal. Will Hill SS- This guy can hit & cover. Instantly adds another head hunting presence in our secondary.

Officiating is bad across the league, but your wrong in this case. I have 4tvs going at a time on Sundays and I see lots of bad calls. But usually the refs make bad calls on both sides. There's usually a make up call or two when there's bad calls. Just last night in Pats gm. The refs blew s call that led to an interception by the Pats. It was negated for a hit to the head. But the hit was clean. There mistake. 2 plays later they made up for it by calling a bogus PI on Malcom Floyd. The refs made up for there bad call. The Bills gm was completely one sided officiating, the interference on Chandler on 4th & 6, the defender face guarded him and grabed his arm. The head butt play, the fantom calls on the pk returns, late hit on Jackson, The Roby call, The Gilmore interference call, the Anderson Td was short, and to top it all off the pk 6 they tried to give them when the ball clearly hit the floor. These aren't just bad calls there crippling calls that changed the gm. We would need a mathematician to figure out how many pts these calls added up to. So all in all, Refs make mistakes that's true. But when u add all these up it's not mistaken its on purpose. It's way to one sided in a big game.

Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree with some of what you're saying but the question is how and who do we aim higher for? We have no first round pk and free agency is not the answer when it comes to acquiring QB's. I'm not saying Foles is the answer to our long time problem at QB. I see him as in my eyes as top 15-20 QB in the NFL right now. If we can add him in a trade for Ej & 2nd or 3rd rounder that's a steal. This trade in my opinion is not at all giving up the house. What it is though is a definite upgrade over anyone else that will probably be available this coming off-season. That includes Cutler & Eli because those guys salaries are way too high for there production. Cutler has 6yrs and 100mil left on his deal. Foles has 1yr left on his rookie deal which will allow us to be flexible when it comes to free agency. Foles having one yr left on his deal is probably a big reason why Chip Kelly would entertain trading him. Given that Chip inherited Foles might mean he doesn't want to commit to him long term. Who really knows how Chip feels bout Ej maybe he feels like he hasn't been coached up correctly maybe he feels like he can fix him. For the pro Foles guys on this board we need Sanchez to keep playing well. If Sanchez wins a playoff gm or 2 this trade can definitely become available to us. Btw we don't need a top 10 QB right now, we need a guy like Foles that can open the whole field up with his arm. With our top rated Defense and if we add a Te and a couple guards in the off-season. This team will be primed for a playoff run in 2015, Let's go Bills! -
Bills to play Jets in Detroit 7pm Monday
NastyNateSoldiers replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The best place for the game to be would have been in Miami, game probably would of sold out or came close to selling out. Considering all the transplant Bills & Jets fans in the area. I know me and bunch of my friends would of went for sure. Plus it would of been cool to see the Bills colors and logo on the stank Fish field. -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's not that hard to figure out, the Bills are in need of a starting QB, I don't see Brady or Peyton walking threw those doors on one Bills drive anytime soon. So the Foles and Cutlers & Bradfords of the world are the possible candidates or even to a lesser degree the Matt Moores or Sanchez. This is what were dealing with as Bills fans for nearly 14yrs. The Bills should of joined in on the suck for Luck sweepstakes. The Bills should of drafted A Rodgers , etc, etc. We heard it all on this site. I'm tired of seeing teams build and rebuild right before our eyes as if we were stuck in mudd. Philly, KC, Det, Cleveland hey might as well say the NFL has passed us by multiple times in some instances while we've been on the road to mediocrity. I feel like we're stuck in a movie like ground hoggs day. Every other yr same sht , we need a QB we need a new coaching staff. Cmon man stop trying to act like this is rocket science it's Football. As Bills we've all been scared by these 14yrs to some degree. So all in all let us begin the recycling of we need this and that. Because that is what we have become. Bills fans! -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Booty huh 25gms played 6800yds = 272yds per gm 46tds 17pks 62% completion, this # is lower because the Kid throws downfield alot his intermediate throws and deep balls are something we haven't seen here since Drew Bledsoe was our QB. Foles is definitely not a captain check down type QB. -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Are u kidding me Kelly doesn't run read option, Kelly runs a more spread read option, not necessarily the same thing as the 49ers or Hawks. But definitely the same concepts were the QB reads run to bk or runs it himself or passes the ball -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
U might be right they might not trade him. But if he becomes available I say we get it done. Foles is like I said a better much better option then anyone else we have a chance to trade or draft next yr. If these rumors are true bout the Foles losing favor with Chip, he will be available for trade for sure. -

Sometimes it's just a great trade for both teams. Hackett + Foles = Bombs to Watkins -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It makes perfect sense because he's not the prototypical Chip Kelly QB, he's not a dual threat guy. Chip Kelly loves QB´s that can run as well as pass. It opens up his read option attack. Nick Foles before he got injured had 2200yds passing 13tds & 10pks in 7 gms. His pk total went up from last season when he only threw 3 all yr and had nearly 30td passes. Most of his pks came in first 4 gms this yr. After that he got red hot and started putting up some big gms. My point here is why not add a young qb, that has the arm strength and size to flourish in Buffalo. He would also be cheaper & better then the options we will have this upcoming season. Cutler & Eli are getting paid and are on the wrong side of 30. Orton is garbage doesn't have the arm strength for December gms in Buffalo. U want Bradford? Maybe he slips on the same matt as Kolb and breaks his legs. I mean C'mon give me a better realistic option. Ej is the kind of QB Kelly loves, in fact the Eagles were mentioned on plenty of occasions leading up to the draft as a possible landing spot for Ej. I would have to think Chip can coach em up and get a draft pk in return. That would be perfect for both teams. -
Nick Foles might be available for trade
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a pocket passer that can throw a ball 60yds accurately to are star wideout Sammy Watkins. Foles is also a young QB that hasn't reached his potential yet. With him on board I think it will be alot easier to obtain a big name head coach like Cowher or someone else. Nick Foles would definitely be better then any other QB´s we can add this coming off-season. Trading a 3rd & Ej would also be cheap in my opinion. It's worth the risk and has upside to be a steal. -
Word out of Philly is that the Coach & Gm have fallen out of favor with there starting QB Nick Foles even before he injured his shoulder. Remember Chip Kelly didn't draft Nick Foles, he was inherited from the previous regime. Chip Kelly offense needs a mobile QB to truly run his spread offense. The question is now what would it take to trade for Foles, who btw I think would fit perfectly in Buffalo. He's a big strong kid with a cannon arm. There was rumors before last yrs draft that Chip Kelly and the Eagles loved Ej Manual. I would offer Ej and a 3rd for Foles. If that's not enough I would strongly consider giving them our 2nd rounder instead of the 3rd but that's all. I wouldn't be surprised this coming off-season to see this type of trade happen. This is win, win trade for both teams and is very realistic.

Who do you WANT as the Bills coach in 2015?

Joe B has said on a few occasions that it's Marrone philosophy that's keeping Hackett handcuffed. I believe it, Marrone got to go! -

Every coach punts on 4th & short, the problem with our coaching staff now is they don't have the wherewithal to know when u need to go for it. I'm not sure u really have grasp for what the Walrus is as a head coach I think u got him mixed up with the Stache or maybe Juaron. Holmgren has never been know as conservative. He has coached on some of the most explosive offenses in NFL history. I also think it's unfair of people to judge him purely on his time in Cleveland. I'm not asking for Holmgren to be a gm, that's not what he is. He's a great head coach one of the best in the last 25yrs. He rebuilt the Seahawks when they were garbage took a bkup QB like Hasselbeck and turned him into a pro bowler. The biggest problem with the Bills since the end of the 90's was the lack of developing & having that eye for talent. We have a good gm in place now with Whaley now we need the development of these players to be fixed and a guy like Holmgren with an excellent coaching staff will put us in that direction. We have a Whale now we need the Walrus! -

Holmgren is also part of the good ole boy network and he would definitely have respect of the refs moving forward. We need a coach that has those type of connections. I watch alot of football and always see the old school coaches like Belicheck chatting up the refs during the gms. Some of u guys will disagree with me about the refs favoring different head coaches but I think this is very real. Mike Holmgren definitely fits the profile. The Walrus also has a way of developing QB´s and has the track record to prove it. The Bills will be very lucky to pull of this type of hire and we would finally be primed for a true playoff push. -

Trestman is a bona fide stud OC, he would know how to use our weapons perfectly. We sign back Spiller and use him in the mold of Charlie Garner & Forte. Those are 2 bks that Trestman used to perfection. Cj has similar skill sets as those 2 bks and would most likely welcome the opportunity to be coached by Trestman. Forget bout signing him bk with the coaching staff we have in place now. I believe the Bills need to try and build a super staff of coaches. If we hire Holmgren as our consultant. I think he would look at this team and start to drool over the prospects of coaching them. The Walrus has been out of coaching for a couple of yrs and I think he would be energized and ready too return . He would be perfect for this team and has the respect of his peers to form a super staff. I think he would definitely keep our defensive staff in place with Schwartz and Henderson . The Walrus has a connection with Trestman from there 49er days with both having been schooled in the west coast offense. To me this is very possible and realistic & with Pegs running the show money shouldn't be an issue. Head Coach - Mike Holmgren ( The Walrus ) OC - Marc Trestman DC- Jim Schwartz. I would welcome a staff like this any day, One Thing is for sure with this staff the Bills will be ready every week and there 2nd half adjustments will be top notch.
