How many teams can Singletary start on
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Again he sees light boxes and again he’s not built to carry any loads for long stretches of the season. Part of the reason he has a higher per carry is because he’s not getting many Carrie’s. He’s a average back nothing about him jumps out at u . He’s small but not fast not strong not nothing just a jag. -
How many teams can Singletary start on
NastyNateSoldiers replied to NastyNateSoldiers's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think he’s a product of the system and he sees more 6 man boxes then anyone in league by far. He doesn’t get the work because he’s not good enough and doesn’t garner the respect of opposing defenses. He’s a average back and doesn’t deserve the money spotrac believes he’ll get -

I hope he gets paid but I would be shocked if he got that kind of money . I just don’t respect him much -
Spotrac has his value at around 5.5 mil per season . I would be shocked if he signs for that much in a off-season with a strong draft class as well as a strong free agent class. Which leads me to this question how many teams value a average back as much as we do? Here’s what I came up with. I came up with a whopping zero for teams he can start for when excluding the Bills . There’s even some teams he can’t even be the bkup on. If Barkley leaves the Giants let’s see how much Daboll thinks about him because that might be the only team I can think of and that’s only because there familiar with Singletary . At end of the day Singletary is a 43/50 ranked bk in this league I can easily think of 10 teams that have 2 better bks then him. So Singletary u better hope the Bills resign u because your about to be bkup in this league at best.

What Makes McD better then Riveria? Riveria has had way more success and he’s taken 2 teams to playoffs and has also gone to the Super Bowl. I would also put Sirriani ahead McD as well as Pederson.

There was similar angst in the late '80s

I’ll take Kelly and Reed all day over Allen and Diggs. Some people don’t know how good Reed really was he would put up insane numbers in this era so would Kelly. They we’re big game players yes we lost all those superbowls but in the playoffs Kelly and Reed were amazing. Kelly was a master at throwing the ball in horrible conditions at the Ralph . That’s the difference for me. Diggs also gets taken out of playoff games u hardly ever seen that with Reed. Put some respect on those players names! -

I don’t believe it’s close the 90s team would destroy this team. That team had 5 hofers , better Oline better dline better lbers just about better everywhere including coaching . Can u imagine McD and Frazier gearing up to stop that offense? It would be a mismatch. Please never act like it’s close because it’s not. Thurman and that Oline would control the game Reed and Lofton would destroy our secondary because they’ll just be laying back in there zones. On Defense Bruce and the boys would force Allen into multiple mistakes. If those 2 teams would play I say the 90s Bills would be favored by double digits easy . -

Plus they don’t have the heart and talent on defense. Bruce, Bennett, Talley, Odomes etc etc . -
I said this Last Year McDermott lacks the killer instinct.
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Rebel101's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not only lacks killer instincts he also lacks an eye for talent & scheming + adjustments when we need it most. His Philosophies are obviously flawed also. Seems like him and his staff have reached there ceilings and things won’t get better until there gone. -
I realize he means alot to the Oline but he is horrible in the run game . Every game he misses whether it was Felicano or Bates replacing him we always ran the ball much better in those games. Now when it comes to making the line calls and pass pro u won’t find much better then Morse. I believe Bates can be our future center so why not get that start now let’s draft Oline heavy this yr and move on from Morse.

Dust has settled...Alphas look at what lies ahead
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Man I’m tired of the Reid didn’t make it till 7th yr talk. McD ain’t Reid mof how does Reid really feel about McD didn’t he fire him? At the end of the day Andy Reid is the exception not the rule and there’s more guys that couldn’t get it done like Marty or Riveria etc etc. I do agree 100% with bringing in Greg Roman that would be an amazing hire especially since there’s already no synchronization between the passing and running games which is beyond baffling to me. Maybe some type of marriage of Dorsey and Roman offense can be great or can be an absolute disaster lol. I would love to find out . -

It’s a testament to the 6 man boxes he’s been seeing for the majority of his career . Singletary is as average as they come hardly ever creating on his own . We need an elite type back to take this offense to next level. -
That’s exactly what this regime believes it’s the players fault not there schemes or philosophies the players.
-
Chris Jones is amazing player but without the scheme behind him its not gonna matter. We decided to not even give our dline a chance vs the Bengals they ate up our zones for breakfast lunch and dinner. Even if we had Von it wouldn’t of made a big difference unless the scheme changed in the back 7 which I highly doubt Frazier is capable of or even wants to change his coverages.

The strategy is not the problem the problem is the assets that are put into the strategy. I’m not a big fan of this strategy because it shows the type of personality McD and Frazier have there conservative by nature . But to put in all this money and picks into something and it not work in borderline devastating to this teams overall development . Essentially there throwing more money and picks into bkups on defense then they do for the offense and that’s outrageous. Starting next season when Allen and Diggs contracts kick in we will really feel the poor management for this team as a whole. They just don’t use high asset’s on bkup dline they use them on other positions on defense as well. Bernard is a classic example a 3rd rd Pk for Milano bkup. Milano just signed a 4yr deal why are they drafting his bkup in the 3rd when there’s still good players left on the board like Dylan Parham who ended up starting for Raiders this yr and was really good for them. The Boogie Pk was also overkill as Creed Humphrey was sitting a plate for the Bills . These are massive mistakes because not only are we passing on talent that can help us into the future we’re also letting our rivals reap the benefits of our poor decisions . The Chiefs drafted Creed the next Pk after we took Basham they must’ve been doing cartwheels and dancing in there draft room because we let them just have a top rated center in the draft. Beane and McD are running this team into the ground and are wasting the golden yrs of Josh Allen’s career which btw because of his playing style won’t reach more then 10yrs. Cam Newton lasted 8yrs before he fell off the cliff his body couldn’t take the punishment anymore I’m afraid Josh is heading in the same direction.

Jim Johnson was McD’s mentor. Where’s his defense?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to oldmanfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
More like he brought a pen to a lecture! -
Not a first rd Pk not even a two he looks slow won’t threaten the seems to much . I’ll take him starting in 4th rd.
-
I agree . People just don’t realize how much we need an elite back if we ever get one I guess that’s when people will see the difference. The Bills are in need of difference makers really doesn’t matter what position they play other then QB. So at #27 grab the guy that can possibly be that difference.
-
What makes it more odd is he’s Milano backup. Instead of taking the G Dylan Parham from Memphis which btw ending up starting for the Raiders and looking very good . Beane and McD have proven to be horrible in the draft especially in the first 3 rds if they don’t change some of the philosophies they will be fired within 2yrs.

Singletary or Hines or neither?
NastyNateSoldiers replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall
This to funny, lol kind of reminds of McD & Frazier Defense. -

Sean Tucker got nice size to him 5’10 210lbs he reminds me of Freddy Jack or Matt Forte but a lot more explosive. I love the kid he’s my favorite back in this draft. The Bills would be lucky to get him in the 3rd rd of the draft.
