  1. Ok. So are we ignoring history and inventing a new narrative for Reid? Reid has been a head coach for 23 years has a 3-6 record in Conference Championship games, a 1-2 super bowl record, and was commonly regarded as a guy who just couldn't get it done until Patrick Mahomes happened to him. Now Reid is the class of the NFL and a guy who has been at the helm for 1/3 the time is the new Andy Reid?
  2. I believe Jimmy Brissett led offenses have scored a total of 7 points against Buffalo in 3 career attempts. Shutout in New England 2016, 7 points in the infamous snow game in 2017, and shutout in Miami last year. Am I missing a game?
  3. Serious question. Has a Jacoby Brissett led offense ever scored a point against the Buffalo Bills? We blanked him in Miami last year, we blanked him in New England years ago. I looked into it and Brissett was actually the Indy QB during the infamous snow game. Indy scored 7 points. Looks like in 3 outings, Brissett has led one scoring drive vs. the Buffalo Bills.
  4. Reid went to 4 straight NFC Championship games and came away with one super bowl loss. He was fired in Philadelphia because he was seen as a guy who couldn't get his team over the hump. Philly fans called him the worst game day coach in the league. His clock management was some of the worst you've ever seen and his3rd/4th and short play calling drove everyone insane. That was the story on Andy Reid until Patrick Mahomes happened upon him.
  5. 100% as sarcastic as I can possibly be. But let me turn it up just for you... I want them to trade Josh Allen for whatever they can get and invest all the proceeds into this defensive line such that no one is ever fatigued again. I don't care if we even field an offense and lose every game. Just give me the perfect Dline and I am as content as can be. Are you blind? How did you not pick up on it even when I told you it was total sarcasm?!?
  6. He's like 6'2" but pretty short where it counts if you know what I mean. Hardly a giant but not a midget if that helps.
  7. We're getting run on again and its a direct result of interior DT play. Epenesa is a liability in setting the edge. Pass rush has mostly evaporated the past few weeks. I have not seen Phillips making much of an impact. Groot is out which has hurt. Dline play is decent but I'm not seeing the return on investment lately.
  8. What did this guy do to you?
  9. Was he completely naked? EDIT: **SPOILERS** I read the article and he wasn't naked.
  10. Oh, you really don't understand sarcasm. I really couldn't have laid it on more thickly had I tried.
  11. When assessing a defensive line its not the results on the field that matter. Its all about cultivating mass.
  12. What part of that bothers you?
  13. And Sanders and Beasley who totaled 120 or so catches for 1,300 yards and 5 TDs. Thats a bit of a difference if we are getting picky...
  14. How're we feeling about this Dline in week 11?
  15. I know I should be concerned about only one healthy NFL caliber receiver but then I gaze over at the defensive line and see 20 guys all fresh and ready to play their 15 snaps this Sunday and all my troubles drift away. ***** thats a sweet rotation. If we add a guy who can stop the run next year I can die happy.
  16. I would think defenses having to respect run and pass in the first half and being up by 3 and 4 scores in the second half is a determining factor in these numbers.
  17. I think we're all wondering who the f@#$ is LeGoatski. The suspense has been killing me. Personally, my brain says John Leguizamo but my gut says Pauly Shore.
  18. I'm here every day and this is the first I'm hearing of it. A google search turned up nothing. You got any of that proof? More secret concussion theory from a media outlet that should stick to ***** pizza reviews and "Smokeshow" of the week type coverage.
  19. And you base this on your access to the players and locker room?
  20. We simply have too many of that guy. Mitts has nice hands and can make some slick plays but he lacks the speed and physicality to make much of his skills. Then we have Olofsson who has an elite shot but lacks the speed, physicality, and vision to be effective 5 on 5. Then we have Quinn who has a nice shot, great play making ability, but lacks the speed and physicality to do much with it... at this time. Krebs may as well fit into this bucket as well but he is skating faster this season and isn't an automatic turnover every time someone leans on him now. Quinn is still developing and I have hopes he will put it all together. Mitts and Olofsson are who they are at this point. Quinn makes Mitts completely expendable in my opinion. The NHL never gives up on a former high first round pick so if he gets hot he may command a little return. Olofsson is the most likely trade candidate.
  21. Pretty sure we find ourselves where we are due to the impatient approach to team building. The prospect pool was depleted for vets who didn't stick around long and under produced. Okposo and Sabres legend Ben Bishop are off the books next year. $10 million in cap space. Look for Adams to make some moves this offseason. I think either Oloffson or Mitts will be moved in the next 12 months as well. And only 10 more years of Skinner's max contract! 5 UFAs and 4 RFAs next season. I expect this roster will be very different in 2023-2024.
