I hear you on that. Its just frustrating to watch guys like Savoie put up ridiculous numbers in the WHL and flounder for 2 more years. Benson and Savoie have nothing left to prove in junior hockey. It would be nice if they could play in a league where they would be challenged and their game would grow while they both develop NHL frames.

He has an outside chance but like his linemate and Sabres first round draft selection last year Savoie, Benson is likely to spend a year or two more in the CHL. CHL rules are awful and forbid a player from playing in the professional minor leagues (AHL) before age 20. Benson is 18 and Savoie is 19. So its NHL or CHL and I think Adams would prefer both guys are seeing minutes rather than healthy scratches at the NHL level.

Good thread.

Football draft is easy. Every single eligible player comes from NCAA ball. Basketball is nearly the same. Hockey drafts from so many different leagues. WHL, OHL, QMJL, BCHL, NCAA, USHL, KHL, and then every European country's pro leagues. It has got to be nearly impossible to compare players results across each of the leagues given the disparities in talent and the ages in play. Some of these kids are playing against grown men. Meanwhile in the NFL we read about how hard it is to compare prospects across power conferences!

You'd better check their vision for deterioration and the palms of their hands for fur. Idle hands.... -
Local shops that help you pick out your outfit?

I used to hit the Hickey Freeman factory outlet on charming Avenue D back in the day. Its crazy that such high end suits are made in humble Rochester. -

You must have a superior IQ to ask a bunch of guys who wear camo cargo shorts and crocs for fashion advice. Best case scenario you come out looking like Charlie Sheen in 2 and a Half Men. -

Is it the Turkish guy on East Ave across the street from the remodeled Wegmans? That guy was the best. My ex-gf once complained about the alterations he made to her dress and he screamed at her "I tailor! You nothing!" -
Most of their locations have closed over the years. I believe family infighting has been jeopardizing the business for a long time.

Per the website they are now hiring all positions in Rochester. That's usually a pretty good sign that opening is around the corner. I filled out an application for you. Good luck! https://www.barbill.com/ But seriously I am very interested to hear how the Webster location stacks up to the original. Looking forward to popping in when I'm home for Xmas.

Because its Bar Bill not Bar Bills. Its named after a guy named Bill who opened the place with his wife Barb and has nothing to do with the Buffalo Bills. https://www.barbill.com/about-us

Why not buy your first house at 56 years old
Jauronimo replied to Draconator's topic in Off the Wall
And lose out on the pleasure of having someone charge you a few hundred bucks to come to your house and tell you that that warranty doesn't actually cover anything? -
Thank you for the update, OP.

He gained life experience that you'll never have: 1. Being Pakistani 2. Shaving at the age of 4 3. Losing his virginity, maybe 4. Imploding 5. Touching the ocean floor -

Is it highschool thats your issue or age? Be consistent. I don't think its a leap to assume that a girl who is at a college party and telling people on video that shes 18 is a college freshman. If she was a freshman, apparently you'd have no issue. Mind you the age of consent is different state to state so the statutory age is hardly a hard and fast rule on morality. How many months or weeks decided the difference between an egregious crime and a college hookup, in your view? Yes, it strikes me as normal that a girl who was walking up to dudes and telling them "f@#$ me or you're a [homosexual slur]" engaged in a consensual sex act with a guy who believed she was 18 and then he left the party rather than spend the night cuddling with the new love of his life. "Sexual crimes" is an interesting term to use when consensual sex with a 17 year old who lied about her age does not constitute a crime. Calling a guy a serial child predator based on nothing other than your capacity for outrage is rather "cavalier" in my opinion.

It was a genius response to ignore the fact that the girl lied about her age and try to cast everyone else as a pedo. You got the response you deserve but I edited it anyway. Apparently its on Araiza to be able to intuit everyone's age like some kind of carnival barker and ignore the girl announcing to the party that shes 18. Calling your stance on Araiza a crusade might be an understatement.
