Last year the Bills proved they were unbeatable in week 2 as they demolished the Titans on MNF. It meant nothing in January. I don't think Trubisky's three longest career completions sum up to 40 air yards.

Last year at this time the Bengals were dead in the water and the Chiefs were fatally flawed without Tyreek. Going into week 2, Buffalo was destined to lay waste to all opponents on their way to a perfect season and super bowl victory. Its a long season and week 1 isn't any indicator of future success.

What do we expect from the Jets offense? Obviously they got a lot better at QB. I think they are only returning 1 of their top 6 WRs from last season. Lazard is a decent #2 but everything after Lazard is suspect at best. Both Breece Hall and Dalvin were home run threats last year but Dalvin slowed down and Breece isn't 100% since the ACL tear last I heard. Both of their starting tackles are already on the injury report. I think this game will be determined by whichever offensive line plays better tonight.

Comparisons to the energy last year will inevitably lead to disappointment. This time last year we were the pre-season super bowl champs, favorites on the road against the reigning champs. The core of the team has not changed so the big question is: what will be different this year?
