Even with the blitz no one got home. The all out blitz has been worthless.

It seems we need elite talent at every position on D. When we do, the defense is nasty. Remove one piece and it goes to ***** quickly. Its the most sensitive defensive scheme known to man.
-
If McD didn't waste that challenge we would have had more time to continue to suck.

The Bills are done, stick a fork in them

I wonder if the people who espouse this type of ***** actually live by this code in their real lives? Didn't get the promotion at work: resign, punch my boss, last ditch effort to bang hot secretary. Dishwasher broke: burn the house down, fake my death, start a new life in Mexico. Wife burned my toast: divorce, put the kids up for adoption, and have the dog put down. -
Building opinion that Josh is not committed to the Bills/football?

I don't think he trusts his protection, his receivers, or the game plan. But there are plays out there to be made and he isn't making the right decision. His body language increasingly looks like a guy who is checking out. There is something fatally wrong with this team. -
And then the Sabres went on to live happily ever after, right?

My motivations have changed through the years: - At first I was drawn in by the discussion on team building, scheme, and strategy. This was during the end of the Jauron era and beginning of the Gailey years so that was an interesting discussion. - Unable to contribute meaningfully on that front, I discovered my true talent and pivoted to high effort trolling to the amusement and great anger of some. - Then I met the shoutbox and fell in with a really bad crowd there. Shoutbox was nonstop entertainment in those days. - I used to spend a lot of time on PPP arguing for the fate of humanity(usually offseason) before I generally stopped caring and that place went full psycho. - These days I still like to visit the shoutbox but the community is my primary reason for visiting. I have been lucky enough to meet some TBD peeps in person and as disappointing as that has been, I still value the relationships I have formed via TBD.

Beane to Kaiir 5 minutes after signing Linval Joseph.

Again, I'm not saying anything other than UPL stinks and draw your own conclusions. https://www.espn.com/nhl/team/stats/_/type/goalie/name/buf The one L was the relief appearance in New Jersey which is exactly the type of BS excuse these UPL apologists love.

Just enough cap space left to sign a weapon like Bob Foster, Deonte Thompson, or John motha*****in Brown.

He stole that game is what I would say if I was giving him any credit... but I am not! Officially I'm still done with him and unwilling to admit he has played two fantastic games. Timely saves again and again and he didnt give up his typical weak one and then come totally unmoored is what I am not saying. Great to see, if it were true. That is what this team has not had the past few years and still doesn't for the record! Team defense was not great tonight but UPL came up big when it mattered is an opinion for someone else.

Yes, its regularly giving up better scoring chances than it generates. If it doesn't improve, may as well put out the PK team and play 4 on 4.

Its been Dodson and Dorian Williams subbing in for Milano. Rapp played his most snaps against Miami (65) and Tampa (26), games where we played much better defense. Jax (0), NYG (0), and New England (8) he was barely a factor and I recall he was more of a big nickel than playing Milano's role.

Lets not leave Jacksonville off the list. I think the defensive line is the primary issue. Without Daquan taking on two blockers we aren't seeing the penetration up the middle. QBs don't have to move off their spot, we aren't buying time for the edge rush to get home. This forces our CBs to cover longer. McDermott has sent extra pressure as a result, particularly against new england. Blitzing left easy completions. We played all of last year without a healthy Tre White. Dane + Benford is an adequate starting pair. Milano is great, no question. We miss him big time as Dorian gets abused on misdirection play. I think Daquan's role is more important than either Tre or Milano to the success of this defensive scheme.

And the season highs in offense given up to Jacksonville and New England? Cincinnati's backup OL had their way with our defensive line in the post season without Daquan in the lineup. If you are of the opinion that 3 quarters against Tampa negate these other performances we can disagree.
-
Is our defensive line getting blown off the line of scrimmage because Tre and Milano aren't out there? I'll need to see the Xs and Os on how that works.
-
Most teams don't fall to pieces after losing a defensive tackle.
-
Phillips is who he always was. Bad against the run, flashy when he can penetrate and rush the passer. Without a Star or DaQuan next to him he gets even more exposed. McD's defense seems to rely on having a unicorn at DT. This defense falls apart without a tackle that can anchor while taking on two OL. We will be back to playing Oliver out of position because the other bums aren't up to the task.

You don't understand selecting a linebacker in the draft when we were thin at linebacker? Add it to the list...

There is no momentum game to game, week to week in the NFL. None.

Smart move. Quit while you're behind.

What in the world are you talking about?

Nothing we can do but cut our ***** off now!
