  1. More of a reach than we would've taken Odell Beckham and kept next years 1st as was posed previously?
  2. Gotta love how the anti-trade up crusaders continue to have a stick up their ass about the Ebron rumors while still not seeing the complete and utter folly of their hindsight argument.
  3. My point is that basing arguments on hindsight after watching Beckham Jr. play 12 games is dishonest and ignores everything we know about the Bills draft board.
  4. That analogy is comically bad.
  5. How about Ebron and next years #1? Or Gilbert and next years #1? Maybe Barr and next years #1? How about that?
  6. Thats birdog in a nutshell. Lots of preconceptions which are reflective of no particular set of facts or reality. This is how it starts. Upon even the most superficial examination, those things which he describes as "likely" unravel into plausible, which further erode into ostensibly plausible, which then get exposed as pulled out of thin air. Even then he will not waver.
  7. Upset about the lack of roles for people of Arab or African descent in Gods and Kings, but then they get upset about the casting in Black Hawk Down, The Siege and Raiders of the Lost Ark which offered lots of roles for Arabs and North Africans. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. Right?
  8. I call this look the perfesser.
  9. Maybe he does have the mental strength to succeed. Good for him.
  10. OG is the human equivalent of an industrial feed lot. They serve over the top fatty, greasy, food byproduct in obscene quantities. The f@#$ing chairs have wheels because they know their clientele so well. I know after a nice dinner out at OG I've got about 2 or 3 hours to make it back to my home base before never ending breadsticks absolutely eviscerate my digestive system. A 30 day juice cleanse has nothing on the emptiness you feel after a tour of italia. To be clear, I'm not above eating anywhere. I get my occasional McD's or Whopper cravings. On a long car ride I look forward to pulling over for fast food or to pop into a chain. If my friends or family want to go to Cheesecake Factory or Macaroni Grill I will not protest or complain about my meal. If I'm choosing the place though, I generally prefer not to give chains my money.
  11. I have no issue with their system, but I'm a regular. The uninitiated struggle. Any of our LA friends who've been to Bay Cities would say DiBellas is a walk in the park
  12. The subway closest to where I work is next door to DiBellas and its packed. The wait is the same. Maybe its the cost savings of a $5 footlong or their daily special which attracts the price conscious consumer. There is no convenience factor in the Henrietta area choosing Subway over DiBellas.
  13. AppleBee's, Chili's, Olive Garden and the like do not make food. They assemble food. I've heard Cheesecake Factory actually engages in activity similar to cooking but they're still loathsome (f!@#ing 2 hour wait for a chain restaurant, 30 page menu half of which is god damned ads). Why people pay those prices when you can have actual food prepared at any mom and pop joint is a mystery to me.
  14. It seems healthy relative to McD's, Taco Bell or the King. They've got Americans convinced that their bagged, low quality ingredients are "Fresh" and fresh means healthy. Plus some guy lost all that weight by doing nothing but eating sub sandwiches and RG3 and Jay Glazer and that figure skater with the awful soul patch love it! It must be healthy.
  15. I don't know how Subway can even survive in the Rochester area with the abundance of very good, locally owned delis and sub shops. Mind boggling why anyone would eat subway when theres a Dibellas within a mile or two.
  16. I've read this three times and best I can tell its a convoluted way of saying kick the ball over their heads and go get it.
  17. I was thinking the same thing. If there was no Buffalo Bills I would probably just cut myself instead of watching football.
  18. Giving up on the Ditka and Drew "Bress" dream so soon?
  19. Agreed. My frustration with the officiating yesterday was primarily due to the fact that I know that we just aren't good enough to overcome tough calls and beat quality teams like Denver. We can eat those calls and pull one out against Cleveland or Minnesota, but we need a few breaks to beat New England, Denver or Green Bay.
  20. "Better burger" chains like 5 Guys, In n Out, Habit and supposed "fresh" fast food like Panera are killing McDonalds.
  21. Seeing the ticky tacky illegal contact call which kept Denver's first scoring drive alive and then watching Kyle Williams get mugged on the 38 yard pass to Welker left a pretty bad taste in my mouth early. It seems that stopping Denver on 3rd down is illegal.
