  1. The whole Pat Moran, Shawne Merriman, border fiasco blurred the lines. Mostly because Moran offered up his children's lives as collateral in some form of truth barometer.
  2. The language and subject matter available to men relative to women is disproportionate, as it is in any scenario where there's a history of structural imbalances of power. There isn't a real equivalent to the C-bomb or threats of sexual assault at a woman's disposal. They can drop a bunch of a WWII era dumb bombs but men have the nuclear option. Same thing with the classic N-bomb. That word still inspires strong responses, meanwhile there is no single word you can direct at my white ass that will even make me flinch. That said, I bet if you checked the posting history of the artless trolls responsible for those tweets you might find similarly disgusting remarks pointed at men in sports broadcasting. There are likely a few special cases, but generally speaking I doubt their animosity is reserved solely for women. These are same type of people dropping N-bombs and Holocaust references in the comments section of CNN. These are the guys yelling slurs from moving cars.
  3. I curse the prick that first used the term "smokescreen" on ESPN.
  4. I'm all for signing a playoff/franchise caliber QB to a small contract with little to no guaranteed money. I'm surprised more teams haven't explored that option.
  5. Kornheiser and Dennis Miller. Those two together with Gruden, dream team!!
  6. Janeane Garopfolo on the road and Brady at home sounds like our best opportunity to sweep the filthy the Pats, in my opinion.
  7. You shallow fry inside and it doesn't stink up your house?
  8. Do you have any opinions that aren't just terrible?
  9. My memory failed me. No, I wouldn't call that a mediocre deal either.
  10. Barron was a total bust in Tampa and just got a mediocre contract. I don' think the SEC should be avoided. Bama players have been overdrafted recently which is a trend that deserves attention.
  11. It is easy, however, I don't like having my whole apartment smell like deep fryer for weeks.
  12. Me too. I didn't eat wings super often back home because its supposedly bad for you but since I've moved I crave them a lot more and its a recipe for disappointment.
  13. Its not just RBs. Milliner, Rolando McClain, Barron, Mt. Cody have been spectacular failures. Our own Kouandjio is looking totally over matched. What bothers me most is that these guys are usually considered safe picks because they played at Bama.
  14. I would be leery of all Alabama players in general. They pump out a lot of disappointing pros.
  15. I'm looking at the details and Mike Williams is a better draft pick than Lynch, Whitner, Gilmore, Watkins, and Antoine Winfield. CJ Spiller, Leodis, and McGahee rank ahead of all of the aforementioned. Scoe is a better pick than Marcellus Wiley and Ronald Darby. Interesting read, but some of this doesn't make sense.
  16. They're just easier to eat and often more meat. Plus you don't get that look from other people at the bar like you're crazy when you put the whole flat in your mouth, bite it at the end, and pull it back out of your mouth ripping all the meat off in one bite in the process. Prudes.
  17. Probably because the process has already reached such a minimal threshold that automation is the next step.
  18. I'm guessing you're a Duffs guy because saucy and crispy are mutually exclusive in the poll. I fail to understand some people think wings can't be both, adequately sauced and maintain crispy skin. If you cook and sauce them properly, they should meet both criteria.
  19. Sammy's posture sucks. His body language in general is downright terrible. Hes not on the sidelines much, but when he is, hes a sideline cancer. Hes already proven himself incapable of leading but if that mother@#$er puts a visor on his helmet, I'd shiv the mofo and then cut him.
  20. Tomorrow is Thursday and Paxton Lynch was born on Thursday. With San Diego rumored to be looking to trade back, should the Bills trade up to #3 and draft Connor Cook??? Hot damn, I think this might deserve its own thread.
  21. In Sammy's absence, Lewis and Salas got a lot of first team pilates reps while Woods pulled away from the field in the spin class portion of the practice. Its pretty safe to say that entering OTAs, Sammy is miles behind the group in yogercize and hot kegels. With only 6 roses remaining, hes on the bubble of making the final 3 in Buffalo's Next Top Receiver contest.
  22. A high motor, high football IQ, lunch pail, puts pants on one-leg-at-a-time type player is always a position of need.
  23. No one in the history of sports has been as needle precision focused on their preparation. It must have been a major pain in the ass doing it all those years, but that's why hes one of the all time greats.
  24. You have a bright future here, I can tell. Like a tire fire.
  25. Nope. Whaley offered them the franchise for the #2 pick and was rebuffed only by his own incompetence. That and because he accidentally sent the Browns links to a virus ridden, pornographic website. Doomed!
