My enjoyment of the game has declined about 50% without the head injuries and high ankle sprains. I want to watch backup level talent mashing each other's skulls and breaking legs. Anything short of that is soccer in my book.

Deja Vu all over again - Offseason Jets talk

I firmly expect the Jets to contend with Miami for the week 4 AFC East title. -

Its not my favorite but I enjoyed Underworld. Kate Beckinsale is even better with pointy teeth.

Forget about the playoff race. Tonight's game is about so much more than that. The Buffalo Sabres have NEVER beaten the Seattle Kraken. The Kraken have lost to every other franchise in the league except for Buffalo. This is basically 1970s Dolphins vs Bills or 2000-2020 Patriots vs Bills. I haven't looked at the betting line but the Sabres have got to be the biggest underdogs since Rocky vs Apollo or USA vs the Soviet Team in 1980. Its time to get this 10,000 lb gorilla off our backs.

We are set at WR. Maybe we’ll grab one in Round 6.

Deal with it! -
I also immediately thought "isn't he old and always hurt?". Hes 27 and has missed 2 games in the last 2 years.

This strikes me as way too soon to invest in an RB. I would have let him test free agency. Go out and see the world Ty Johnson. Come back and see us when you're 32. Right now hes too green and too fast.

Even a prime Kirk Cousins at any age is unlikely to get you out of the Wild Card round. -

And its all coming out of your allowance and tax dollars!

I don't expect he will light the league on fire but this will be the first competent offense Hollins has been a part of since his time with Carr in Oakland. Good size and speed which is something we have sorely been lacking. There are a lot of nice catches in traffic and contested catches in his highlight reel. He has an opportunity to carve out a role in Buffalo.

He's going to be drinking a LOT of peanut M&M water this year.

Full tar cigarettes, greenies, and a case of beer was all they needed to stay limber and fit back then. -

24 How I Met Your Mother Big Bang Theory Friends* *I watched a few episodes over the years because I was trying to get with various girls. Its a wretched show. -
Okposo is a class act but its time for him to move on. He was rarely the player we thought we were getting and I dont think he ever fully recovered from that strange post concussion episode. I appreciate the way he always answered the bell and didn't shy away from the tough interviews. I dont think we will miss his on ice contributions at all but I do worry that there is an absence of leadership in the locker room with his departure.

Is anything being done about injury prevention?
Jauronimo replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
McDermott gave an inspiring speech about how the Mujahadeen prepared to drive the soviets out of Afghanistan (stretching was critical. Also stinger missiles) and announced that injuries are a cuttable offense in 2024. -
How does today compare to Black Thursday Feb 10, 2000?
Jauronimo replied to Livinginthepast's topic in The Stadium Wall
Feb 2000 was officially the end of a competitive era and the signaling of a total rebuild. Players who everyone thought would retire as Bills were unceremoniously cut. It was the hard realization that the sun had totally set on the super bowl era Bills. What would come was anybody's guess (hint, it was bad). Tuesday was another day. Anyone of those moves considered alone would have been unsurprising. Most of the shock was due to the manner in which the news dropped. No windows have closed. This may be a setback and there will likely be growing pains but the 2024-2025 Buffalo Bills will remain AFC East division favorites and super bowl contenders. -

I am going to be sick the first time I see Siran Neal wearing a different team's jersey... -
He had a rough start but played well down the stretch once he calmed down and stopped trying to murder people. We missed him against KC.

James Hardy, the Bills 2nd round draft pick out of Indiana. Big guy with a wide catch radius. I didn't think he was still on the roster since he hasn't played since 2009 and has been deceased for 8 years but Beane's negligence knows no bounds!!
