  1. This news does not surprise me one bit. At the time Terry bought the team there was a lot of discussion about whether he could even own BOTH the Bills AND the Sabres, per NHL and NFL bylaws. This issue was never fully resolved and the question went pretty much ignored. The whole process was so fast and loose that it wouldn't surprise me if they just found out El Pegual can't really own both teams. El Paligula selling the team to Jean VanJovie is now a convenient way to rectify the problem and let all parties save phase.
  2. Your crusade is TBD's least entertaining. But what it lacks in entertainment it makes up for in volume, ten fold.
  3. Honestly, I don't know why we don't just bump everyone on depth chart behind Watkins up one spot. It seems silly to leave the #2 WR position open and line up with 10 men on the field in certain formations. I would also look at bringing back Peerless Price.
  4. Lee Smith. I'm not going to say he was uncoverable but no one ever thought to cover him.
  5. The type of Nancy that plays 16 games with broken ribs. He's missed 3 games in his career. He missed his third game of the season after coming back too quickly, catching a TD, and re-injuring his calf. He isn't missing anything due to minor injuries.
  6. http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2016/4/15/11439638/nfl-fifth-year-option-nfl-draft-contract-tracker http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000484561/article/fifthyear-option-tracker-for-2012-firstround-picks Take a look at the type of players that don't get their 5th year option picked up, reflect on it, and get back to us if you still want to have terrible opinions.
  7. The Dan Snyder method has not been very successful.
  8. Its basically an ADD soap opera for men but its entertaining.
  9. You share that f@#$ing abortion but I bet you'd get twisted up faster than I can say "Sarah Palin" if you were to read a similarly retarded list comparing the Obama Admin to Nazi Germany all the while forgetting that you e-mail blasted out the same list comparing the Bush Admin to national socialism only a few years before, because you're an idiot.
  10. Herm Edwards and Tony Dungey are the same guy. I've never seen them in the same room together. There was only one Darrin on Bewitched, with York being demoted to Sargent following his court martial. The show's producers lied to avoid discussing Dick's dishonorable military record. Edamame is actually soylent green which we all know is bean-pulp. Flu shots are a big pharma conspiracy to inhibit our natural drives and sell more Viagra.
  11. I took a cursory look at the WaPo numbers. 82% of white shootings involved a deadly weapon and 6.5% were categorized as unarmed. 80% of white shooting were described as attack in progress and 20% were labeled other or undetermined. 73% of black shooting involved a deadly weapon and 14.7% were categorized as unarmed. 71% were described as attack in progress and 29% were labeled other or undetermined. Take from it what you will, but I thought it was interesting. The categorization is obviously rather subjective and the numbers don't look particularly damning, but the skew toward other, undetermined and unarmed with regard to black shootings relative to whites is worth consideration.
  12. That's exactly what I was about to post about your reply! I do not think the cops are out to kill black people. I do not think the cops involved in the most recent incidents were out to kill black people. While I've been skeptical and reluctant to accept this perspective, its become increasingly difficult to dismiss the idea that these situations play out differently for whites and blacks. I'm finding it more difficult to believe that the situation in Minnesota escalates similarly for whites and blacks. Again for the slow kids in the back, I'm not suggesting systematic racism. I think there are other less nefarious factors which could explain why that may be the case. A quick glance at the crime statistics, which we are all generally aware of here and law enforcement is certainly aware of, could certainly cause a cop to be more on edge when apprehending a black suspect relative to a white suspect (perhaps that's just good police work in assessing relative risk). Anecdotes from the black community (no I'm not basing this solely on Chappelle's Killing them Softly and movies like Menace II Society, just 75%) tell a story of fear and mistrust of the police, whereas the white community generally doesn't fear the police. I certainly do not fear the police. My experiences with law enforcement have been very positive, which is why I've been reluctant to accept the idea which I'm now describing. If both sides of the equation are more fearful, edgy, and have less trust, bad outcomes are more likely. The narrative that has captured the media's attention so often over the past 18 months of trigger happy cops killing blacks and subsequent retaliations is furthering a cycle of fear and mistrust. I view it as a positive feedback loop that can operate completely independent of racism and evil cops. And now time for the bad analogy: I'll compare the arrest scenario to a person encountering a big dog like a german shepherd. Lets say the person in the equation grew up in the burbs in a house where you kiss the dog on the mouth and your wife on the cheek. That man is definitely not scared of the big dog even though it could totally f@#$ him up. In turn the dog is calm and walks over for a pat on the head and a belly rub. Now if the person grew up in the house with tales of vicious german shepherds (the original pitbull), that man sees the dog coming and is scared or nervous. The dog can sense it, which in turn heightens the dog's attention. The dog is now uneasy and it shows in the body language, making the person who was already on edge much more concerned. And now the dog is freaked out and its barking, and the person is getting ready to fend off the increasingly aggressive dog, and on it goes until the guy gets bit.
  13. Except for those birds. Those birds will be eaten tomorrow. How water and snow!
  14. He's black and you're satire/sarcasm illiterate. As for me, well this white guy is beginning to worry that the number of negroes being shot by the police is suspiciously high. While I've heard allegations for many years that minorities have less favorable experiences with law enforcement relative to their white counterparts, it wasn't until a few such instances were captured on video that the issue caught my attention. Much like domestic violence, you don't really know that its happening and understand that its a serious problem until you see Ray Rice punching his then fiancé. I find these most recent instances in Baton Rouge and Minnesota particularly concerning. But then again, I am one of the good ones.
  15. Isn't Cian Fahey just Chan Gailey's drunk alter ego?
  16. Yes. This is TBD not the 4H club. A certain measure of decorum is expected, you jerk.
  17. I think we can all agree that some people may share opinions similar to those raised in the aforementioned post. You're the Dick Jauron of comprehending TBD trolling.
  18. I hope she isn't also part of your guild of warriors or wood trolls or elf clan. As the old proverb goes, don't s@#$ where you roll the 27 sided die.
  19. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2015/07/06/maine-man-dies-after-launching-fireworks-from-his-head/ Current on the issues, I see.
  20. LET THE MAN TALK!!! His words and new age ideas might upset the lot of you thin skinned nancies and offend your small town, Midwestern sensibilities but Joe has a right to be heard AND deserves his day in court. Its easy to bandy about isnults from the safety of your computers, but back in the day, a man accusing Joe of drunkenness, lies, trolling, schizophrenia, and general mental deficiency might have to face him in single combat or have you all forgotten duel process?
  21. I'm calling bullshragulations since I'm pretty sure this LAMP is a steaming pile of mike malarkey but if its actually true, congrats I guess.
  22. Did you get an autograph? Pretty sure that guy was a drummer in Spinal Tap.
  23. Petty crime and training for football?
  24. I think that's exactly what many people are arguing. Goodwin was already a bubble player. Prioritizing another sport over the one that pays his bills has definitely hurt his chances of making the team. Training for another sport has definitely hurt his chances of making this football team.
  25. That's where you lost me. I'll never understand that sentiment. Why do you hold Glass to a higher standard than your own wife? He might not even have known she was married. If anything, kill her not the random guy.
