  1. AdamSchefter 3m Sources within the Patriots organization say Jacoby Brissett is playing with a fake mustache tonight.
  2. O'Brien wisely stops the clock with 22 minutes remaining in the half. All those grueling hours spent at Andy Reid's School for Game Management and Parenting Children Too have clearly paid off. CBS showing off why they lay claim to America's #1 Wednesday, 9-9:30, ethnic mis-match, comedic drama, and announce the reboot of that mildly successful show that some people watched 20 years ago. Kudos!
  3. Alan Branch is taking a wait and see approach with the Brisket for now, but if he sucks you can expect him to DWI his way to the Broncos. It turns out interfering with the fair catch is still illegal. Brisket takes the field in place of injured lesbian and breakfast food enthusiast Janeane Garafalo. Hold on to your dicks!
  4. **Breaking News: Famous Uggs model Tom Brady will not be playing in tonights matchup for some reason. We have left several voicemails on Tom's phone but he has not responded for comment for some reason. Tonight's matchup features two undefeated AFC teams, the loathsome New England Patriots* and the Texans of Houston. It should be a defensive struggle as the man who was benched last year in favor of Peyton Manning's corpse takes the field against the Pats 5th string rookie QB. Belichek will sure to be cheating at a very high level tonight as the Pats look to stay unbeaten, but Bill O'Brien knows all about Belichek's dirty tricks as he spent several years in Fawkesboro holding Belichek's coffee. Did you know Fawkesboro was named after notable English patriot Guy Fawkes? He would be spinning in his grave to find out his namesake is now synonymous with treachery and deception. For shame Patriots*. More updates to follow*
  5. Too bad the wrist band says "WWJD".
  6. I think it could succeed. Its too late to install a new offense, but I hope Lynn adds some bubble screens to Watkins, some quick slants, more easy high percentage passes that can get a few yards, move the chains and get Tyrod into a rhythm early. Build his confidence. It drives me crazy that defenses play 10 yards off Watkins and we refuse to feed him at the line like his college coordinators did to make defenses pay the price for guarding against the deep ball. However, I do not expect the "new" offense to look all that different.
  7. I always thought Chan outsmarted himself and would get away from plays which were effective earlier in the game that the defense had already seen. I can't back that up at all, just the impression this unsophisticated, ball watching, football fan had at the time.
  8. The criticism I heard was that each week the game plan tosses out what has worked in the past in favor of something new that our opponents won't expect. We were trying to trick and outsmart opposing defenses rather than running our plays and challenging defenses to stop us.
  9. Right now I would say the most likely possibilities are that EJ is either extended by the Bills OR they let his contract expire. That's my tentative assessment of the situation. Although I'm far more focused on what happens with Taylor.
  10. I'm guessing mrags left at the half when we had an insurmountable lead. Or drank himself into a coma and the memory of the end of the game is deeply repressed. I wish it was for me. That loss still inspires disgust.
  11. We're getting the band back together. We're on a mission from God.
  12. The Czar will be 7' tall I'm told, and possess all sorts of mystical knowledge. He'll hypnotize you with his crazy eyes and dance better than Baryshnikov. He's the only one that can defeat Russ Brandon in a staring contest. It has been foretold.
  13. You would have been better off just going with "Webster's defines due diligence as...". Just terrible. Terrible.
  14. I love screaming "get to the f@#$ing line!!!!" 15 times a game. It took us 30 seconds last night to execute a spike.
  15. Agreed. I want a Chip Kelly, Josh McDaniel, Mangenius hybrid that wears a scarf and talks only in riddles. We will run 50 flea flickers pre game and make Mike Martz look like Jauron ball.
  16. I think we should throw all of our resources at acquiring this player that you've kinda heard of.
  17. EJ, Losman, Rob Johnson, Drew Bledsoe. I count 4 first round picks.
  18. Attack, attach, attack, with only the most circumstantial of arguments, for what reason?
  19. Not only that, Russ was at the table at Wannsee. Now I'm not saying that the 'Final Solution' was his call, but I surmise he had significant influence.
  20. I get it. I really do. Sorry for giving you a hard time, but I wanted to demonstrate that a Czar does not guarantee success, no matter how many on this board think Czar is some new age miracle salve. Ultimately, any organization needs to attract, hire, and retain talented personnel. Hire the wrong Czar and you can try again in 5 years.
  21. If the Pegulas are picking GMs and coaches that you want fired how can you trust them to choose a Czar? Maybe we need a Czar to guide in the selection of a Czar? Or perhaps a 3rd Czar to assist in the selection of the Czar that selects the Czar? I estimate we need at least 30 Czars to get this thing done right. I hope they can all fit in a small "Czar Car" for the comedic effect of watching them all get out at OBD.
  22. So the Czar is purely an interim gig who assesses the organization and then advises on the selection of a GM. Who selects the Czar?
  23. Like what? Does he have veto power over the GM? Does he pick the coach? Does he get involved in culture, marketing, and sales initiatives?
