  1. And there's no correlation between more draft picks and success either. Cleveland has traded back, amassed a ton of picks. Johnny Manziel and Justin Gilbert just aren't getting it done on Sunday's though. Carolina somehow has only had 28 draft picks and they just went to the Super Bowl.
  2. There is absolutely no meaningful conclusion that can be drawn from that mess above. Any attempt to do so should be ridiculed to the extent of one's ability.
  3. I think this most recent super bowl hurts Brady's legacy. This is his second super bowl win where the other team lost the game more than he won it. In a few years, no one will remember that Brady and Belichek set records. They'll remember the Falcons and Seahawks choking the game away. Kinda like how no one outside of the 716/585 even remembers who the Bills played in Super Bowl XXV. They just remember the Bills and wide right.
  4. Whats in your award winning chili? I make a pretty amazing and highly simple chili. The secret is grinding your own chili powder and avoiding the generic McCormicks 'Chili Powder' at all costs. Pasilla, ancho, chipotle, and a touch if habanero or chile de arbol. Also, smoked ham hocks.
  5. I had no idea there were so many dwarf enthusiasts on this board. I mean I'd always suspected....weird.
  6. What happened to Beerball?
  7. I completely agree. Assuming Brady loses Sunday and once more in the big dance and hes 4-4 in Super Bowls. Then hes in Bills territory for Super Bowl runner ups. You know what Patriots stands for?? Brady Indeed Loves Losing Superbowls!
  8. What continuity on offense? They won their first super bowls with a screen game and run heavy ball control offense, then picked up Moss and Welker and broke passing records. When Moss reached the end of his term and Welker was in decline we saw the two tight end sets that ripped the league a new one. And when one of those tight ends went to prison on a life sentence and the other one broke down, we get the all honkey quick timing, pick play offense with underinflated balls and illegal substitutions. Their current offense looks nothing like the schemes that won in 2001. In fact, their offense looks radically different week to week these days. Its opponent specific. The only constant is efficiency and wins.
  9. He owns a few pizza franchises in the bay area so hes about as qualified as Manning and the Gorbachev style spot on his forehead.
  10. First of all, many people think Jack Nicholson was a choke artist. The anti-clutch. He was Micklesoning 20 years before there were Micklesons. Second, Nicholson played during the expansion era of golf where the disparity of talent was wider than it has ever been so his numbers are inflated. Third, if golf is so hard then how can my grandmother play the game? Finally, there's at least TWO people in this very thread who think Jack was the anti-clutch, yours truly and TakeYouToTasker. I'll take those Masters Tickets now, thank you.
  11. The game has always been a joke. You can't play football at half speed, trying to minimize contact, with no preparation or practice. Baseball, basketball, and hockey all star games are a farce but at least a somewhat entertaining farce as the games become a showcase of talent and skill since there is no defense. Those sports also benefit from the fact that the best players actually want to participate. The NFL needs to scrap the format. The pro bowl should not be a football game.
  12. I would rather watch Pro Bowlers play a game of flag football where positions are randomly assigned. Kyle Williams plays QB and TAylor lines up at WR, etc. Alternatively, it would be more interesting to watch them play beach volleyball top gun style.
  13. It seems to be lost on a few people here that you still need to play the upcoming season and fill a roster. We can't just forfeit and draft until we land a franchise QB.
  14. I think we either need to win more or dock Taylor's pay. Maybe we should win more games?
  15. Buttchug, Flaming Tables, and Dildos on the Field: This is Bills Mafia!
  16. Flaked is ok. I enjoyed it. Maron Season 3 has been solid. If you like Flaked then I think you would really enjoy Maron which is available on Netflix. Ask Poojer. I got him hooked on Maron and it totally turned his life around 360 degrees.
  17. Except not play like ass for the first 55 minutes of the game. You're allowed to play well before your last offensive series and not have to depend on your defense to save the day. Especially when you're the "greatest of all time*". *does not include games against Peyton Manning's kid brother.
  18. I agree with metz. Its kinda like with Jack Nicholson. He has the most second place Major finishes in golf history at 19, which is almost double the next man up on the list who has 10. So often the bridesmaid, he is widely considered a choke case and a loser despite his incredible successes.
  19. It wouldn't have mattered who they hired. I hate this coaching staff out of principle.
  20. LA/St. Louis was pretty stable too. Flat-lined for 7 years.
  21. The last time a Hogan thread went 45 pages it was due to the outrage of him making the roster over Da'Rick. Now we get 45 pages and counting of outrage for not doing more to keep him after New England blew the doors off the Hogan sweepstakes. One thing we know for sure, its that the Bills never should have signed him in the first place but after we did, we should have locked him up for life.
  22. I want to read his follow up after Atlanta wins.
  23. I'll accept a Spygate style tainted championship as long as its followed by several more to cast aside any notion that we never would have won the first one without cheating. BountyGate wasn't even that scandalous, in my opinion. If money wasn't involved and Greggo wasn't caught on tape, then it would've been hurting people for the joy of hurting people which is totally fine in the NFL.
  24. If its "cheating" like Deflategate, then sign me up for a Dynasty.
