  1. I did both. Pre-heated to 550 then broiled for a few minutes before sliding my pie into the oven. Not sure I noticed much of a difference from just baking at 550. I turned the broiler on to get more color on my top crust and brown some cheese. I'm thinking about getting a baking steel and using that as the cooking surface and keep my stone on the rack above. That's supposed to be as close as you can get to turning your home oven into a pizza oven.
  2. Variety is the spice of life.
  3. No knead dough is pretty damn good. Any variation on Jim Lahey's (trailer park supervisor and master baker) no knead dough will get you good results. The version below with 00 flour got me best results. http://blog.kingarthurflour.com/2015/01/05/best-pizza-youll-ever-make/ Dough is so temperamental and frustrating. Working with this dough requires a few tries.
  4. You're really committed to Ol' Smokin Jay. The Phins are averaging 8.3 points per game. Cutty is averaging 204 yards, 0.67 TDs and 0.67 INTs a game.
  5. If someone could edit the video to show him lighting a cig that would be phenomenal.
  6. Still standing by your man?
  7. You're not a real traveler until you've driven to the 3 biggest cities in Ohio. You should check out Toledo while its still a bit of a secret. The three Cs (Cleveland, Columbus, and Cincinnati) are overrun with tourists at this point. They may as well be Disney Land.
  8. Our tie breakers are completely shot.
  9. This thread is all sorts of embarrassing.
  10. At least craft an effigy. Burning empty jerseys is so pedestrian. We are so far behind the middle east in effigies.
  11. Didn't look like we missed Marcel at all last Sunday.
  12. I'll bet you $50 hes just another Dirty White Boy from Cheektowaga.
  13. Plus, our hotels are not the nicest. I hope Siemian likes scratchy towels and stained sheets.
  14. He is worse than 4 Hitlers. How dare he speak ill of the Bills?!?!?
  15. Probably going to move to a punter by committee approach to keep everybody fresh.
  16. Not exactly. 30.4% of people who listed the Bills in their top 3 also had Pats in the top 3 hated. This data might include a Cardinals fan who's third favorite is Buffalo because their aunt is from Buffalo and their least favorite teams are Seattle, San Fran, and the Rams. I think its a pretty safe bet that anybody claiming Bills as their #1 favorite has New England in their top 3 most hated.
  17. I would love to look through the source data for the poll and see which fan bases hate the Bills. I gotta believe that if we look at the data for people who selected the Bills as #1 most loved team, its like 75% hatred for New England in the 1 spot and 25% spread between Phins and Jets for the 2 and 3 spot. .
  18. I don't think its the end of their dominance. Even if the passing game struggles to be as efficient I expect they will win a lot of close ones in strange fashion and then make the adjustments to hit the playoffs clicking on all cylinders. It might not be as pretty as previous years though.
  19. The Pats offense took a big hit a few years ago when Edelman missed an extended stretch of games. Edelman is the guy Brady trusts most on that offense. Hes a high volume pass catcher and PPR stud. Whenever the Pats need to convert on 3rd, you can pretty much guarantee Brady is looking for Edelman.
  20. Tell me again how Edelman won't be missed because Pats offense is plug and play.
  21. No, that's still funny. You probably don't get the humor. Peter Pan guy is like the show Frasier or Dennis Miller.
  22. I never found the appeal. I thought it was sophomoric at best. Personally, I wouldn't want to be associated with such low brow attempts at humor but some here just can't help themselves.
  23. I too am shocked an appalled at the lack of respect St. Nick gets around here. I think this topic deserves three threads.
  24. If this place were to be shutdown, god forbid, I would band together with the lowest common denominator of TBD and we would go find another Bills site and spam them to high hell with as many terrible new threads as we could muster. And when everybody inevitably calls us on our idiocy, I would be all like "whatever, dude. You should get a life or something cause I don't care about nothing man!" until I was banned. And then rinse, wash, repeat as necessary.
  25. It wasn't a phenomenal performance, but I saw Tyrod do some nice things yesterday. There was one throw to Clay which was the definition of anticipatory. He threw the ball before Clay made his break to the area Clay would be moments later. Great completion over the middle. I saw him step up in the pocket at least once. I saw him use the middle of the field and hit receivers on target setting up for yards after the catch. Only once or twice did I scream "throw the f@#$ing football!" at the television.
