Don’t use “ Garbage time” excuse!
Jauronimo replied to Buffalo Boy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Peterman was throwing underneath against a prevent shell. The defense is giving him the middle of the field. -
And you don't eat 100 punches per fight. There are submissions. You aren't solely punching people in the face.

Metrics on best 4th quater/OT QB play this season
Jauronimo replied to SaviorPeterman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very concerning. -
The only thing sadder than Texas pizza is what passes for wings down here. Just shameful. The original immigrants are all German and Dutch. Not one I-talian in this god forsaken town. You can't even get a decent sandwich. In a city of transplants its just bizarre that I can find way better and more authentic Sichuan or Vietnamese than classic American fare.

For the Rochester crowd, Fiamma in Gates is good Neapolitan style. Osteria Rocco on Upper Monroe is also a great choice for pie and your Italian cravings. This thread is making me sad that I now live in a pizza and deli wasteland.

Back when I lived in Rochester my faves were Nino's Sicilian style, Chester Cab's Chicago stuffed, and Pizza Stop or Brooklyn Joes for thin crust NY style. There is still a Mr. Shoes on South Ave near U of R. That was my go to for a few years when I lived in the area.

Hometown players, should it effect drafting?
Jauronimo replied to The Now Moment's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He didn't fit the scheme and lacks the size we were looking for. There is simply no way Gronk was going to succeed in Buffalo as a two gap, true Nose Tackle. Torrel Troupe was the right move. -
Cordy Glenn injured AGAIN.
Jauronimo replied to Pine Barrens Mafia's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sounds like Cordy isn't buying in to the #Process if he's injured again. The Gospel Of Process suggests that those who buy in are rewarded with health and great play. We know what happens to players who don't buy in. They get injured and they get gone. I wouldn't be surprised to see him cut by Sunday. -
NASCAR's ascendancy to the pinnacle of American sport and subsequent fall from grace is much more complex than rule changes and team fluidity. The NASCAR phenomenon is largely attributed to the following: 1. Changing of the Guard: Today's drivers look more like a metrosexual boy band members and accountants compared to the characters of yonder. Back then NASCAR had personalities as big the engines with colorful names to match like Rusty Wallace, Dale Earnhardt, Dick Trickle, Dick Passwater, Jim Bob Cornhole, Bob Pisshard, and Anus McFlappin III. These guys were larger than life and put asses in the infield. No one is lining up to Kevin Har-whatever and Danny Ham-and-cheese on white. 2. NASCAR's popularity in the late 80s to mid 90s largely coincided with the golden era of mustaches and mullets. When high fashion and sport collide, you've got lightning in a bottle. Think zubaz and football or halter tops and soccer. After the fad dies the sport tends to follow. 3. Shorter Attention Spans: With our instant gratification, over stimulated, smart phone carrying, ADHD culture where kids can't sit still for 10 seconds let alone a 5 hour race, its a miracle that Americans figured out that people driving cars around to the left isn't really a sport but they DID! They really did. NASCAR is just asinine and despite all the demands on our collective attention, people actually thought about it long enough to figure it out. Remarkable. In conclusion, the rise and fall of NASCAR has happened.

You create a synthetic short on the NFL by short selling BUD, F, and U.S. Treasuries.

$20 says OP owns a footbath that lives right next to his La-Z Boy recliner. $10 says he still has a subscription to TV Guide.

What is your favorite Buffalo Bills memory?
Jauronimo replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Fitz-scream and the Comeback heard round the world is up there for me. The week before that featured another huge second half comeback against the Raiders. Its a bit sad that the Super Bowl years were so long ago that the warm fuzzy Bills memories in my adult brain are comebacks in another 7-9 season. -
Report: Huge Problem Brewing between Irsay and Luck

With that much dead money, the onerous contract, and mental/character concerns, I'd toss a conditional 6th their way and see what happens. -

This is crazy stuff. A franchise QB being traded in his prime is virtually unheard of. This rift has the potential to completely change the competitive balance in the league overnight. I have no idea what will happen with the Colts and Luck but I'm pretty sure this story ends with a couple of dead hookers in Irsay's house. -

You're right that its not like a knee injury because your knee only moves in one plane of motion. The shoulder is the most flexible joint in the body. Shoulder rehabs suck. -
Then how did he get that roughing the passer penalty? I believe it was against the Jets and kept a drive alive.

Where this team is head...and playoffs
Jauronimo replied to DisplacedBillsFan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we beat the Jets I still think splitting w/New England and giving one up to the Chiefs makes 13-3 look quite difficult. Maybe 12-4 with a win against the Jets. Irregardless, its all a mute point now anyhow. -

Splitting with NE and losing to KC and still finishing 13-3 would be a feat. I personally I think its unlikely. 11-5 maybe, but I admire your spirit. -
