I used to come on TBD and find the first obnoxious idiot to cross the line and take it all out on them. I still do, but I used to, too. -
Whether you love the move at QB or hate the move, I think we can all agree that Sunday is probably the most important day in the history of this whole f@#$ing sport.

What was your OP about then? It included nothing about what is best for next week or this season. Your entire point was centered around next year and the draft. So now you're suggesting its win now and its best for the future? And it can be ours for 5 easy payments of $99.99? Is there more? I'll wait.

What's your early assessment of Peterman ?
Jauronimo replied to GreggTX's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm not sure early is the word for assessing Peterman at this point. I don't think premature even covers it. Whats the word for getting that crunchy tube sock out for clean up before she even agrees to the date? That's the word you're looking for. -
The horror! I can't even fathom going to the playoffs, making a run, and coming up short one game away from the Super Bowl. You're right. Tis' far better to have another season over before it snows. Let the drought continue!! The best part about preparing for future success is you can do it indefinitely. Lets stick with the problem we know rather than roll the dice with post season losses.

If the season ended today, we're in the playoffs. For the first time in 17 years, we're in. And you and the rest of the unwashed masses espouse making winning this year a tertiary goal behind the 2018 draft and evaluating players for next year? How many winning seasons are you willing to sacrifice for the POSSIBILITY of future winning seasons? Are winning seasons and playoff berths worth more in the future?

There may be an even stronger correlation or "co-ralationamaship" as you so eloquently put, between Petermania and Rob Johnson fans. How the f@#$ are there real RJ fans in 2017?!?!?!

Nathan Peterman to Start this Week.
Jauronimo replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Which are all valid. Those excuses, if necessary, will also be the arguments against McD's decision making. Why start a rookie QB with few reps and no experience when you're 5-4 and still looking at a chance for post season play. -

I got winded and ran out of steam toward the end. Its hard work recounting all the guys who have played under center for us. -

Everybody is excited by something new until the point where they aren't because new is shittier than the same old crap. Losman was shiny and new stepping in for Bledsoe who was a statute in the backfield. JP had wheels and a big arm! Then Trentative was a revelation after watching Losman's feast or famine offense fail to sustain drives. Slow and steady Trent was great until defenses figured out he couldn't see more than 6 yards beyond scrimmage. Then gunslinger Fitz was the brand new thing. Fitzy was so refreshing after Trentative but his style of play turned the ball over way too much. Then EJ was the anointed one, leading comebacks and winning those 4 games until he was a total bum. Then Tyrod arrived with no fanfare or expectations, won the starting job, and delivered some of the best QB play we've seen since Kelly retired until he too became tied for the worst QB to ever play football. What makes anyone think new and different will be better? -
I miss Kromer as well. I wonder what happened to him? I know I could google it and find the answer in seconds but I prefer to envision him living a new life in out there on the fringe of society. A man who has been pushed too far. A man trying to find meaning in a world without law or decency whose singular purpose is protecting the one thing he has left and laying waste to anyone or anything who comes between him and his beach chairs. That's the Kromer I want to remember.

What sound do you hate the most?
Jauronimo replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in Off the Wall Archives
That faint but distinct sound when your cellmate thinks you're asleep and starts whacking it and you just know he's going to deny it if you call him on it and he's just going to start again the minute he thinks you're asleep. I think we can all agree that sound is one the worst. -
That is correct.

Sous Vide - Virgin Journey Today! Advice?
Jauronimo replied to plenzmd1's topic in Off the Wall Archives
With Thanksgiving coming up, I'm thinking about doing this: http://www.seriouseats.com/recipes/2013/11/turkey-porchetta-food-lab-recipe.html -
McD and Beane could cut Walter Payton in his prime and ship Tom Brady out for some baseball cards and I would be reading all about how these guys obviously suck.
